Zhang, Pei-Pei,Zhou, Lei,Cao, Jia-Shi,Li, Yi-Ping,Zeng, Zhi,Sun, Ni,Shen, Li,Zhu, Hao-Yue,Ruan, Yang,Zha, Wen-Ting,Wang, Xin-Yu,Zhang, Ke-Qiang,Zhang, Ran Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2016 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.17 No.6
The present study was conducted to investigate the prevalence of HPV infection in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) in Hunan province. DNA samples were collected from paraffin embedded ovarian tissue from 322 patients with EOC, 99 with ovarian benign tumors and 199 normal persons. The polymerase chain reaction and direct sequencing were used to identify the HPV types in the samples. The relationship between the infection of human papillomavirus (HPV) and the epithelial ovarian carcinoma (EOC) was investigated combined with clinical data. The prevalence of HPV18 and HPV33 in EOC group and benign group was higher than in the normal group. HPV18 and HPV33 may play a role in the development of both EOC and ovarian benign tumor and may participate in the development of EOC with traditional risk factors, family history and abortion, possibly exerting synergistic effects.
Advanced Frequency Support Strategy of Double‑Stage Grid‑Connected PV Generation
Mingshuang Sun,Qi Jia,Zheyi Pei,Cun Dong,Zhenhao Wang,Xin Jin 대한전기학회 2019 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.14 No.6
With an increasing penetration of PV generation in the electrical grid, the increasing replacement of large conventional synchronous generators by PV generation will result in deteriorated frequency regulation performance due to the reduced system inertia response. It is urgent for PV generation to take part in frequency regulation. In this paper, three virtual inertial control strategies are proposed for double-stage grid-connected PV generation: virtual inertial control based on the dynamics of phase-locked loop (PLL), virtual inertial control based on the dynamics of low voltage DC capacitor, virtual inertial control based on the dynamics of high voltage DC capacitor. The infuence of control parameters on virtual inertial control strategies is also analyzed. Besides, in order to get an even better frequency behavior, a coordinated control strategy between PV generation and conventional synchronous generators (SGs) is also proposed. Finally, the theoretical analysis and control strategies are verifed by simulation results.

The covalent attachment of CPPs to siRNA molecules offers great potential for CPP-mediated siRNA delivery. We recently reported a concise and high-yield synthesis strategy of the cell-permeable, cytosol-dissociable LMWP-siRNA covalent conjugate. Herein, cell uptake mechanism and cellular toxicity studies of this conjugate were performed to evaluate the potential of LMWP-siRNA conjugate for clinical translation. Cellular uptake mechanism study indicated that the conjugate could be taken up by cells via multiple pathways, including direct penetration of the plasma membrane and clathrin- and caveolae-independent endocytosis. In vitro cytotoxicity study revealed that the conjugation promoted internalization in a low-toxic fashion.
Triterpenoid Saponins from the Seeds of Caragana microphylla
Gui-Lin Jin,Cheng-Jian Zheng,Wen-Bo Xin,Zhu-Jun Mao,Pei-Xin Sun,Zhi-Xin Zeng,Lu-Ping Qin 대한약학회 2011 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.34 No.6
Two new triterpenoid saponins, namely caraganoside C (1) and caraganoside D (2), were isolated from the seeds of Caragana microphylla. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analyses, including homo- and hetero-nuclear correlation NMR experiments (COSY, HSQC and HMBC). Both 1 and 2 exhibited moderate inhibitory activity against NO production in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells with IC_50 values of 26.4 μM and 32.2 μM, respectively. In addition, 1 showed weak cytotoxicity against MCF-7, HL-60, HCT116, and A549 cell lines.

Background: Radiotherapy is an important treatment of choice for breast cancer patients after breast-conserving surgery, and we compare the feasibility of using dual arc volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT2), single arc volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT1) and Multi-beam Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (M-IMRT) on patients after breast-conserving surgery. Materials and Methods: Thirty patients with breast cancer (half right-sided and half left-sided) treated by conservative lumpectomy and requiring whole breast radiotherapy with tumor bed boost were planned with three different radiotherapy techniques: 1) VMAT1; 2) VMAT2; 3) M-IMRT. The distributions for the planning target volume (PTV) and organs at risk (OARs) were compared. Dosimetries for all the techniques were compared. Results: All three techniques satisfied the dose constraint well. VMAT2 showed no obvious difference in the homogeneity index (HI) and conformity index (CI) of the PTV with respect to M-IMRT and VMAT1. VMAT2 clearly improved the treatment efficiency and can also decrease the mean dose and V5Gy of the contralateral lung. The mean dose and maximum dose of the spinal cord and contralateral breast were lower for VMAT2 than the other two techniques. The very low dose distribution (V1Gy) of the contralateral breast also showed great reduction in VMAT2 compared with the other two techniques. For the ipsilateral lung of right-sided breast cancer, the mean dose was decreased significantly in VMAT2 compared with VMAT1 and M-IMRT. The V20Gy and V30Gy of the ipsilateral lung of the left-sided breast cancer for VMAT2 showed obvious reduction compared with the other two techniques. The heart statistics of VMAT2 also decreased considerably compared to VMAT1 and M-IMRT. Conclusions: Compared to the other two techniques, the dual arc volumetric modulated arc therapy technique reduced radiation dose exposure to the organs at risk and maintained a reasonable target dose distribution.
