<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Although it is known that the tetraploid embryo contributes only to the placenta, the question of why tetraploid embryos differentiate into placenta remains unclear. To study the effect of electrofusion on the development of mouse tetraploid oocytes, mouse two‐cell embryos were fused and cultured in vitro in Chatot‐Ziomek‐Bavister medium. After electrofusion, two chromosome sets from the tetraploid blastomere were individually duplicated before nuclear fusion. At 8–10 hr after electrofusion, each chromosome set was condensing and the nuclear membrane was breaking down. Around 12–14 hr after electrofusion, the two chromosome sets had combined together and had reached the second mitotic metaphase, at this point with 8n sets of chromosomes. Interestingly, we discovered that expression of OCT4, an inner cell mass cells biomarker, is lost by the tetraploid expanded blastocysts, but that CDX2, a trophectoderm cells biomarker, is strongly expressed at this stage. Antibacterial Effect of Silver and Gold Nanoparticle Coated Modified C-Palatal Plate

<P>The goal of this study was to investigate antibacterial properties and cell viability of a covalently immobilized gold and silver nanoparticle coated titanium modified C-palatal plate (MCPP) surfaces. Silver and gold nanoparticle-coated titanium (Ti-nAg, Ti-nAu) surfaces were prepared using the silanization method. The amount of deposited nanoparticles (NPs), surface morphology, and chemical component analysis of the surfaces were characterized. The antibacterial qualities of the Ti-nAg and Ti-nAu surfaces were tested on Porphyromonas gingivalis (P. ginginalis) and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans (A. actinomycetemcomitans). The cytotoxicity of the treated surfaces to NIH3T3 cells was assessed. The Ti-nAg surface had remarkable antibacterial effect compared to the Ti-nAu. However, it showed cell cytotoxicity after 2 days of incubation, whereas Ti-nAu displayed better cell compatibility.</P>
S-72 Anti-reflux endoscopic surgery for severe iatrogenic gastroesophageal reflux disease

Introduction: The first-line treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is antacids or acid reducers, generally including proton pump inhibitors(PPIs). When PPIs are not effective, other anti-reflux treatments such as laparoscopic fundoplication or Stretta are considered. But most of those treatments are not well accepted due to their invasiveness or in relation to cost-effectiveness. Here, we report the first case of treating iatrogenic GERD resulted from esophageal stent by anti-reflux endoscopic surgery (ARES). Case : A 58-year-old male was diagnosed with Boerhaave syndrome due to severe vomiting one year ago. The esophageal perforation was treated with a covered stent and it was removed after 20 days and no mucosal break at esophagogastric junction(EGJ) was found. He progressively presented reflux symptoms and needed to take PPI. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy showed four mucosal breaks suggesting acid reflux. In ambulatory 24-hour esophageal pH monitoring, acid percent time clearance was delayed. We diagnosed iatrogenic refractory GERD associated with prior stent. We planned anti-reflux endoscopic surgery. Multiple endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR) was performed at cardia 2 cm below EGJ encompassing 75% of the circumference. 25 days after the surgery, the patient's symptom was considerably improved and the previous mucosal breaks disappeared on the endoscopy. Conclusions: ARES is a treatment method using well-known EMR. It is comparatively safe and can yield excellent therapeutic results in case of refractory GERDs.

Recently, as architectural concrete structures become high-rise and megastructured, concrete become high-strengthened and, by ensuring products of more stability, air compression and rationalization of construction are required. In general, product management test of precast concrete member, specimen for management cured in the same condition with precast concrete member is substitutively used for strength test. However, large cross-sectional precast concrete members such as columns show large temperature increase in manufacturing process not only by external heating but also by concrete itself's hydration heating. Therefore, it is expected that specimen for management to predict strength and compression strength of precast concrete member shows different temperature history and strength characteristics. Concerning this, in order to suggest temperature history and strength characteristics of high strength mass concrete suitable for precast concrete application, this study comprises the inclusive investigations on the relations between management specimen with similar temperature history and core strength, and the strength characteristics per member cross-section dimensional value and per water-bonding material ratio value.

As architectures have recently become high-risers and megastructured, stable high strength products have been ensured. Accordingly, use of precast concrete accouplement has been increased in order to facilitate air compression and rationalize construction. Since not only external heating but also internal temperature rise caused by the accumulation of cement hydration heat in manufacturing process, precast concrete members with large cross-section used for high-rise mega-structure's columns and beams may exhibit different temperature history compared to the precast concrete members for wall and sub-floor with relatively small cross-sections. Therefore, this study aims to elucidate the characteristics of temperature history of mass concrete members cast with high-strength concrete for precast concrete application. In this study, large cross-sectional precast concrete mock-up, unit cement quantity, and temperature histories in manufacturing precast concrete member under different curing condition were inclusively investigated.

최근 제21대 국회의원 선거를 앞두고 주요 정당들은 서로 앞 다투어 유권자들의 관심을 끌만한 다양한 교육공약을 내놓았다. 이에 본 논문은 주요 정당의 교육공약을 비교·평가하여 유권자들의 선택에 유용한 정보를 제공하고, 이를 근거로 향후 각 정당의 교육공약 수립 및 추진 시 요구되는 개선과제를 제시하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 주요 정당의 교육공약 비교·평가 결과, 연구대상 정당들(더불어민주당, 미래통합당, 정의당, 국민의당)의 교육공약에 대한 평균점수는 중간 수준의 3.12(5점 척도)로 나타났다. 교육정책 분야별 평가에서는 교육환경·학생안전·교육복지 분야(3.63)가, 정당별 평가에서는 더불어민주당(3.47)이, 그리고 평가지표별 평가에서는 교육적 타당성(3.37)이 가장 높은 점수를 받은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석을 바탕으로 도출된 개선과제는 미래지향의 교육개혁 비전 수립 및 정책 제시, 공약실현을 위한 소요재원 규모 산출 및 재원 마련 방안 제시, 민주적 의견수렴 과정을 통한 국민들의 의견 적극 반영, 고도의 전문성을 지닌 교육정책 전문가 양성 및 영입 등이다. In the run-up to the 21st general election, major political parties have come up with various educational pledges. Thus, this paper aims to provide useful information for the voters by comparing and analyzing educational pledges of major political parties and to suggest improvement tasks required for establishing and promoting educational pledges in the future. The results show that the average score for educational pledges of the parties was 3.12 out of 5, which is considered as a midpoint level. The field of “education environment/student safety/education welfare” (3.63) ranked the highest among all the educational policy fields. Democratic Party received the highest marks (3.47) among the political parties. The index of “educational validity” marked the highest (3.37) among the evaluation index. The improvement tasks derived based on the analyses include as follows: a) establishing and presenting future-oriented vision for education reform, b) calculating the size of the required funds for the realization of pledges and presenting strategies to raise funds, c) actively reflecting the opinions of the people through the process of collecting democratic opinions, and d) fostering and recruiting and raising educational policy experts with high level of expertise.
