        중추신경계에 침범한 속립성 결핵 : 증례보고

        in recent times, central nervous system(CNS) tuberculosis has been rare and the prevalence of the focal form, the tuberculoma, varies from 1 per 200 to 1 per 1000. CNS tuberculosis occurs as a result of hematogenous spread from a primary focus. mostly pulmonary tuberculosis. It can be diffuse exudative leptomeningitis or a localized tuberculoma ; the former is more common. We report a case of miliary cerebral tuberculosis in a 24-year-old female who had been having headaches for 4 months. Magnetic resonance imaging showed numerous small round Gadolinium-enhanced supratentorial and infratentorial lesions scattered throughout the brain. Histologic examination confirmed well defined tuberculous granulomas with central caseous necrosis in open biopsy, containing several acid-fast bacilli, the patient was treated with isoniazid, rifampin, ethambutol, pyrazinamide in combination with prednisolone.

        An analysis is presented for the free vibration of a cantilever plate. For this papers, there are compared with the stiffener, I-shape and T-shape of the plate. The method is applied to cantilever plate with stiffened plate, I-shape and T-shape, and the natural frequencies and mode shapes of vibration are calculated numerically, given the results and confirmed experimentally.

      • 유산양 유방염에 대한 Chitosan 약침의 치료 효과

        To improve the therapeutic method for mastitis, treatment effect of chitosan pharmacopuncture was examined in three milking goats(A,B and C). Mastitis was artificially induced in two milking goats(A and B) and one goat(C) was naturally infected case with mastitis. The acupoint used was Yang-Ming and chitosan suspensions(provided from Tottory University, Japan: 30㎎ of chitosan/㎖)were injected to the acupoint with 5㎖/time for 3 days, respectively. As for the change of somatic cells in milk along with chitosan pharmacopuncture, they showed a decreasing tendency after increase on the 3rd day in all udders of B. In addition, as for the change of total leukocyte counts of peripheral blood with chitosan pharmacopuncture, they showed a decreasing tendency after increase on the 3rd day in B and C except A which showed a increasing tendency until on the 7th day. In the change of neutrophil/lymphocyte(N/L) ratio, increasing tendency was seen in A and C but increasing tendency after slight decrease was observed in B. Further, in the change of serum total protein and A/G ratio, serum total protein content was decreased after slightly increase on the 3rd day in A, and they were decreased after increase until on the 7th day in B and C, respectively. As for the change of A/G ratio, different pattern increasing tendency was shown in A, B and C.

      • 이온교환법에 의한 고분자전해질형 연료전지용 전극의 제조와 특성 고찰

        고분자전해질형 연료전지용 전극의 백금 이용률을 높이기 위해 촉매제조시 이온교환법을 이용하여 백금을 carbon에 담지하고 이에 따른 전지성능변화를 고찰하였다. 전극제조시 Nafion이 첨가되지 않은 경우 이온교환양이 증가함에 따라 전기화학적인 활성이 증가하여 전지성능이 증가하였다. 전극제조시 Nafion이 첨가된 경우, Nafion첨가량이 증가함에 따라 전지성능은 증가하였는 데 Nafin첨가에 의해 이온교환되지 않은 백금이 전기화학적인 활성을 가지게 되어 전지성능은 증가하였다. To improve platinum utilization of PEMFC(Proton exchange membrane fuel cell) electrode, in preparing catalytic powder, platinum was impregnated on carbon by ion exchange method and its cell performance was investigated. When electrode was prepared without adding Nafion solution, as Nafion pre-impregnated amount was increased, electrochemically active area and cell performance was increased. When electrode was prepared with Nafion solution, increase of adding Nafion amount was improvement of cell performance. By adding Nafion at preparation of electrode, non ion-exchange platinum was shown electrochemical activity, cell performance was improved.

        메조기공의 실리카-티타니아 코겔의 제조와 자율적 조습 및 광촉매 특성

        수용액상의 졸겔반응에 의해 메조기공의 실리카-티타니아 코겔을 제조하고 이들의 자율적 조습력과 광촉매 특성에 대해 검토하였다. 실리카-티타니아 코겔에 있어 조습력과 관계되는 세공크기와 용적은 본 연구에서 고안된역적정법에 의해 Ph 7부근 및 SiO_2/TiO_2 비가 상대적으로 큰 9/1인 경우에 가장 큰 생성물이 얻어졌다. 폐놀 분해율에 의한 광촉매 특성은 동일조건에서 SiO_2/TiO_2 비가 감소함에 따라 증가하였고, SiO_2/TiO_2 비가 9/1에서 세공크기 4.0~6.0 nm 및 세공용적 0.6~0.8 mL/g 범위로 제어된 코겔의 경우 환경습도 40~70% 범위에서 흡습량 25%, 방습량 45%로서 종래 조습재료 보다 자율조습력이 큰 것을 볼 수 있었고, 같은 조성의 실리카-티타니아 혼합 산화물과의 폐놀 분해율에 의한 광촉매 특성 비교에서도 우수한 물성을 보이고 있었는데 이것은 Ti-O-Si 결합형성으로 인해 코겔 구조내에 음전하 과잉으로 인한 활성점(브렌스테드 산점) 발현에 기인된 것으로 고찰된다. Silica-titania cogel materials have been prepared by aqueous sol-gel process using a back titration technique designed for this study. The humidity self-control and photocatalytic properties of the materials have been also investigated. In these silica-titania cogel materials, relatively large pore size and pore volume than can give a good humidity control ability are desired, and they were synthesized under the reaction condition at pH of 7 and SiO_2/TiO_2 ratio of 9/1. The photocatalytic property, which was measured by the decomposition ratio of phenol, increased with the decrease of SiO_2/TiO_2 ratio in the composition. The cogel at the SiO_2/TiO_2 ratio of 9/1, resulted in the pore size of 4.0~6.0 nm and the pore volume of 0.6~0.8mL/g. At the relative humidity range of 40~70%, the amounts of moisture absorption and desorption were 25% 45%, respectively, and these had a better humidity control ability than conventional ones. In addition, the cogel showed a superior photocatalytic property compared to that of silica and titania mixture with the same composition. This enhancement is probably due to the revelation of active sites by the excess negative charges that were induced by Ti-O-Si bond formation in the cogel structure.

        UNVEILING COMPLEX OUTFLOW STRUCTURE OF UY Aur

        We present [$Fe\;{\small{II}}$] ${\lambda}1.257{\mu}m$ spectra toward the interacting binary UY Aur with 0".14 angular resolution, obtained with the Near infrared Integral Field Spectrograph (NIFS) combined with the adaptive optics system Altair of the GEMINI observatory. In the [$Fe\;{\small{II}}$] emission, UY Aur A (primary) is brighter than UY Aur B (secondary). The blueshifted and redshifted emission between the primary and secondary show a complicated structure. The radial velocities of the [$Fe\;{\small{II}}$] emission features are similar for UY Aur A and B: ${\sim}-100km\;s^{-1}$ and ${\sim}+130km\;s^{-1}$ for the blueshifted and redshifted components, respectively. Considering the morphologies of the [$Fe\;{\small{II}}$] emissions and bipolar outflow context, we concluded that UY Aur A drives fast and widely opening outflows with an opening angle of ${\sim}90^{\circ}$ while UY Aur B has micro collimated jets.

        HIGH ANGULAR RESOLUTION [Fe II] λ1.644 μ SPECTROSCOPY OF YSOS WITH SUBARU TELESCOPE

        We present results of the velocity-resolved spectroscopy of the [Fe II] $\lambda$1.644${\mu}m$ emission toward outflow sources with the Subaru Telescope at the angular resolution of 0.apos;16 ${\~}$ 0.apos;5 arcseconds. The observed sources are L1551 IRS 5, DG Tau, HL Tau and RW Aur, which are located in the Taurus-Aurigae Molecular Cloud, one of the closest star forming regions (0.apos;1 = 14 AU). We were able to resolve outflow structure in the vicinity of the sources at a scale of a few tens of AU. The position-velocity diagram of each object shows two velocity components: the high velocity component (HVC: 200 - 400 km $s^{-l}$) and the low velocity component (LVC: 50 - 150 km $s^{-l}$), which are clearly distinct in space and velocity. The HVC may be a highly collimated jet presumed from its narrow velocity width and high velocity. The LVC, on the other hand, may be a widely opened disk wind inferred from its broad velocity width and low velocity. The spectrum taken perpendicular to the L1551 IRS 5 outflow at its base shows that the LVC has a spatially wide subcomponent, supporting the above interpretation. We demonstrated that the [Fe II] 1.644 $\mu$ spectroscopy is a very powerful tool for the studies of fast jets and winds that directly emanate from star-disk systems.

        THE BVR CCD PHOTOMETRY OF GLOBULAR CLUSTER M13

        The BVR CCD photometry was performed for the globular cluster M13 down to $V=19^m$ over the region from the center to the west 13 arcmin and the CMD of M13 is investigated. The major photometric error in the crowded field which is due to the variation in the sky background was corrected by the median filtering method and the direct sky method. Some characteristics of the CMD of M13 obtained in the present study are as follows: Firstly, the distribution of stars on the CMD is well consistent with the mean lines of Sandage(1970) along the red giant branch(RGB), horizontal branch(HB) and asymtotic giant branch(AGB). Secondly, some gaps exists along the RGB and blue horizontal branch(BHB). Thirdly, the UV-bright stars are more concentrated at the inner region of the cluster.
