      • A Hybrid Method for Weapon System-of-systems Capability Requirement Planning

        Capability-Based requirements management and planning thoughts and methods have gone increasingly deep into the development of Weapon System-of-Systems (WSoS). In the traditional top-to-bottom capability requirement planning (CRP) methods, the constraints among different capabilities indexes acquired from the tasks decomposition are neglected, which leads to the irrationalities and conflicts between different WSoS capability requirement indexes. Based on the analysis and description of capability requirements planning problem, the constraints are divided into five types and extracted from WSoS according multiple views thoughts. In addition, Interval Weighted Constraint Network (IWCN) is introduced and a consistency detection algorithm and a conflicts elimination strategy are proposed to achieve a capabilities requirement plan satisfying the tasks requirements and the capabilities indexes constraints. Finally, the practical applicability within a Joint Operations System of Systems (JOSoS) based on the space force capability requirement scheme planning is demonstrated, which proves the validation of the method built in this study.

      • Air Combating System-of-systems Effectiveness Analysis based on Modeling in Macro and Micro Perspective and Simulation

        Large-scale helicopter group is an important part of the Air Combating System of Systems (ACSoS).How to plan the scale of helicopter group and achieve the best operational effectiveness is a focus of the ACSoS capability requirement analysis. Based on the macro-micro characteristic of the system of systems and the individual system, Air Combating combat models are divided into three types separately in macro and micro perspective. A UML/MM modeling method for Air Combating combat is proposed and the models are built in UML and mathematic method (MM) respectively. In addition, an Air Combating combat simulation system is developed and thirteen simulation plans of different scale values are designed as the inputs of the system .The optimal scale value of helicopter group under the certain scenario is gained through the analysis of the effectiveness based on the simulation results. In this scale condition, the ACSoS achieves its optimal survival and time effectiveness.

        The Dynamic Relationship between Industrial Structure and Economic Growth for the Conversion of Old and New Kinetic Energy: An Empirical Analysis of the Shandong Province Based on VAR Model

        Purpose This paper, focusing on the dynamic process of economic development and industrial structure in the Shandong province since the 21st century, analyzes its economic structure by constructing a VAR model to provide economic and policy recommendations for the sustainable development of Shandong’s economy. Design/Methodology/Approach This paper selects the output value of the three industries in Shandong from the past 20 years, mainly using the real GDP, GDP growth rate, and the proportion of the output value of the three industries to construct a VAT model, and analyzes the order of gravity of the industrial structure of the economies. This paper also discusses the dynamic impact of the output value of Shandong’s agriculture, industry and service industries on real GDP per capita from an absolute value perspective. Findings After theoretical and empirical analysis, this paper finds that Shandong’s current economic growth industrial structure is “2-1-3”, while the transition to “3-2-1”may be more effective and healthier in the future. The increasing proportion of investment in the modern emerging service industry and emphasis on the technological transformation will empower the primary and secondary industries and realize the transformation from an “industrial economy” to a “service-oriented economy”. Research Implications This study provides theoretical and empirical evidence for the formulation of targeted industrial development policies. It also holds that in the short term, the economy of Shandong may also be facing the risk of slowing down and steady economic growth, but with the completion of economic structural transformation, these pressures will disappear.

        Damage constitutive model of brittle rock considering the compaction of crack

        The deformation and strength of brittle rocks are significantly influenced by the crack closure behavior. The relationship between the strength and deformation of rocks under uniaxial loading is the foundation for design and assessment of such scenarios. The concept of relative crack closure strain was proposed to describe the influence of the crack closure behavior on the deformation and strength of rocks. Considering the crack compaction effect, a new damage constitutive model was developed based on accumulated AE counts. First, a damage variable based on the accumulated AE counts was introduced, and the damage evolution equations for the four types of brittle rocks were then derived. Second, a compaction coefficient was proposed to describe the compaction degree and a correction factor was proposed to correct the error in the effective elastic modulus instead of the elastic modulus of the rock without new damage. Finally, the compaction coefficient and correction factor were used to modify the damage constitutive model obtained using the Lemaitre strain equivalence hypothesis. The fitted results of the models were then compared with the experimental data. The results showed that the uniaxial compressive strength and effective elastic modulus decrease with an increase in the relative crack closure strain. The values of the damage variables increase exponentially with strains. The modified damage constitutive equation can be used to more accurately describe the compressive deformation (particularly the compaction stage) of the four types of brittle rocks, with a coefficient of determination greater than 0.9.

        Deep Learning in Genomic and Medical Image Data Analysis: Challenges and Approaches

        Artificial intelligence, especially deep learning technology, is penetrating the majority of research areas, including the field of bioinformatics. However, deep learning has some limitations, such as the complexity of parameter tuning, architecture design, and so forth. In this study, we analyze these issues and challenges in regards to its applications in bioinformatics, particularly genomic analysis and medical image analytics, and give the corresponding approaches and solutions. Although these solutions are mostly rule of thumb, they can effectively handle the issues connected to training learning machines. As such, we explore the tendency of deep learning technology by examining several directions, such as automation, scalability, individuality, mobility, integration, and intelligence warehousing.

        <P>This paper proposes an optimized phase rotation sequence method for side lobe suppression by complementing and regulating the side lobe suppression sequence set. The sequence set is efficiently enhanced through the quadratically constrained least square model. The theoretical suppression performance of our method is discussed. Furthermore, our scheme is also suitable for cognitive radio, which is analyzed in the simulation part. The simulation results confirm the effectiveness of our schemes.</P>

      • Applicative Value of Serum CA19-9, CEA, CA125 and CA242 in Diagnosis and Prognosis for Patients with Pancreatic Cancer Treated by Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy

        Objective: To evaluate the application value of serum CA19-9, CEA, CA125 and CA242 in diagnosis and prognosis of pancreatic cancer cases treated with concurrent chemotherapy. Materials and Methods: 52 patients with pancreatic cancer, 40 with benign pancreatic diseases and 40 healthy people were selected. The electrochemiluminescence immunoassay method was used for detecting levels of CA19-9, CEA and CA125, and a CanAg CA242 enzyme linked immunoassay kit for assessing the level of CA242. The Kaplan-Meier method was used for analyzing the prognostic factors of patients with pancreatic cancer. The Cox proportional hazard model was applied for analyzing the hazard ratio (HR) and 95% confidential interval (CI) for survival time of patients with pancreatic cancer. Results: The levels of serum CA19-9, CEA, CA125 and CA242 in patients with pancreatic cancer were significantly higher than those in patients with benign pancreatic diseases and healthy people (P<0.001). The sensitivity of CA19-9 was the highest among these, followed by CA242, CA125 and CEA. The specificity of CA242 is the highest, followed by CA125, CEA and CA19-9. The sensitivity and specificity of joint detection of serum CA19-9, CEA, CA125and CA242 were 90.4% and 93.8%, obviously higher than single detection of those markers in diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. The median survival time of 52 patients with pancreatic cancer was 10 months (95% CI7.389~12.611).. Patients with the increasing level of serum CA19-9, CEA, CA125, CA242 had shorter survival times (P=0.047. 0.043, 0.0041, 0.029). COX regression analysis showed that CA19-9 was an independent prognostic factor for patients with pancreatic cancer (P=0.001, 95%CI 2.591~38.243). Conclusions: The detection of serum tumor markers (CA19.9, CEA, CA125 and CA242) is conducive to the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and joint detection of tumor markers helps improve the diagnostic efficiency. Moreover, CA19-9 is an independent prognostic factor for patients with pancreatic cancer.

        A Comprehensive Review of Emerging Computational Methods for Gene Identification

        Gene identification is at the center of genomic studies. Although the first phase of the Encyclopedia of DNA Elements (ENCODE) project has been claimed to be complete, the annotation of the functional elements is far from being so. Computational methods in gene identification continue to play important roles in this area and other relevant issues. So far, a lot of work has been performed on this area, and a plethora of computational methods and avenues have been developed. Many review papers have summarized these methods and other related work. However, most of them focus on the methodologies from a particular aspect or perspective. Different from these existing bodies of research, this paper aims to comprehensively summarize the mainstream computational methods in gene identification and tries to provide a short but concise technical reference for future studies. Moreover, this review sheds light on the emerging trends and cutting-edge techniques that are believed to be capable of leading the research on this field in the future.
