This study has been carried out to evaluate the ability of sequential batch reactor process for the removal of NH₄^(+)-N in wastewater. The results of this study are summerized as following : 1. For the operation mode A the NH₄^(+)-N removal efficiencies were around 90%, and for the operation mode B, they were 70-90%. 2.NH₄^(+)-N oxidation rates were 0.045-0.43 d^(-1) and 0.005-0.19 d^(-1) for operation made A and B respectively. The nitrification rates were calculated to be 0.0085-0.004 d^(-1) for operation mode A. For operation made B, the maximum nitrification rate was found to be occurred when the ratio of filling to reaction was 2/4. 3. For operation made A denitrification rates were 0.005-0.04 d^(-1) and 0.002-0.27 d^(-1) during the filling and anoxic period respectively. For operation mode B denitrification rates were 0.006-0.011 d^(-1) and 0.004-0.006 d^(-1) during the filling and anoxic period respectively.
항균성 동치미액의 첨가에 의한 냉면국물 중의 Listeria monocytogenes 및 Escherichia coli O157:H7 생육억제

동치미액은 전통적으로 냉면국물로 이용되어왔다. 냉면국물의 미생물 오염문제를 해결하기 위하여 항균활성이 높은 김치 젖산균 Lactobacillus homohiochii B21과 Leuconostoc mesenteroides subsp. mesenteroides C16을 스타터로 혼합사용하여 동치미액을 제조하고, 이를 냉면국물에 100%, 50%, 10% 및 0% 첨가하여 20℃ 및 10℃에서 보관할 때에 동치미액의 항균력으로 인하여 의도적으로 첨가한 Listeria monocytogenes와 Escherichia coli O157:H7의 증식이 억제되는 정도를 조사하였다. 동치미액 100%인 냉면국물은 20℃에서 보관할 때에 Listeria monocytogenes는 8시간만에, Escherichia coli O157:H7는 40시간만이 10^6CFU/ml에서 10^0CFU/ml로 각각 급격히 사멸하였고, 10℃에서 보관할 때에도 시간경과에 따라 생균수가 급격히 감소하였으나 감소속도는 20℃에서 보관할 때보다 느렸다. 동치미액을 50% 첨가한 육수에서도 Listeria monocytogenes와 Escherichia coli O157:H7는 시간경과에 따라 급격히 감소하였으며, 감소속도는 동치미액 100%일 경우보다 느렸다. 동치미액을 10% 첨가한 육수는 20℃에서 보관할 때는 초기에 Listeria monocytogenes 및 Escherichia coli O157:H7의 균수증가가 약간 있었으나 동치미액 무첨가에 비하여 현저히 억제되었으며, 16시간 이후부터는 균수가 서서히 감소하였다. 동치미액을 첨가하지 않은 육수는 20℃에서 보관할 때는 초기부터 Listeria monocytogenes 및 Escherichia coli O157:H7의 균수증가가 급격히 이루어졌으며, 10℃에서 보관할 때는 24시간 이후부터 서서히 증가하였다. Listeria monocytogenes 및 Escherichia coli O157:H7에 대한 본 동치미액의 항균활성은 후자의 미생물보다 전자에 대하여 더욱 강하게 나타났다. 본 연구의 동치미액을 육수에 50% 첨가하여 냉면국물을 제조한다면 보관중의 미생물 오염문제 해결에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다. Juice of Dongchimi, a Korean traditional vegetable food fermented with lactic acid bacteria has been traditionary used as broth for Naengmyon, a Korean cold noodles with broth. This study was carried out to demonstrate the growth inhibition of two food born pathogens, Listeria monocytogenes and Escherichia coli O157:H7, in Naengmyon-broth containing Dongchimi-juice fermented with high antibacterial lactic acid bacteria, Lactobacillus homohiochii B21 and Leuconostoc mesenteroides C16. Naengmyon-broths were made with beef broth and Dongchimi-juice fermented with lactic acid bacteria, and the changes in viable cell counts of the inoculated pathogens in Naengmyon-broths were investigated during storage at 20℃ and 10℃. In Naengmyon-broth of 100% Dongchimi-juice stored at 20℃, the numbers of Listeria monocytogenes and Escherichia coli O157:H7 were rapidly decreased from 10^6CFU/ml to 10^0CFU/ml in 8 hours and 40 hours, respectively. In Naengmyon-broth containing 50% Dongchimi-juice, their numbers were also rapidly decreased, though the decreasing rates were not so fast as those in 100% Dongchimi-juice. In Naengmyon-broth containing 10% Dongchimi-juice, the growths of the two pathogens were markedly inhibited, compared with those in 100% beef broth, though some growths were occurred in early phase. But in Naengmyon-broth of 100% beef broth, their growths were very fast from early. Antibacterial activity of the Dongchimi-juice was more distinct at 20℃ than at 10℃, and was more active against Listeria monocytogenes than against Escherichia coli O157:H7.
Effect of Gamma Irradiation on the Structural and Physiological Properties of Silk Fibroin

This study was conducted to examine the changes in the molecular structure and physiological activities of silk fibroin by gamma irradiation. The results of gel permeation chromatography and sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis showed that the molecular weight of fibroin was increased depending upon the irradiation dose. Secondary structure of fibroin determined by using circular dichroism revealed that the ratio of α-helix was increased up to 10 kGy and then decreased depending upon the irradiation dose. Whereas, the ratio of β-sheet, β-turn, and random coil were decreased and then increased with an alteration in the α-helix secondary conformation. The 2.2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazil (DPPH) radical scavenging activity of fibroin was increased by gamma irradiation at 5 kGy, but was decreased above 10 kGy depending upon the irradiation dose. Also, the inhibition activities of tyrosinase and melanin synthesis of fibroin were increased by gamma irradiation. These results indicated that gamma irradiation could be used as an efficient method to make fibroin more suitable for the development of functional foods and cosmetics.

Basal stem rot symptoms were found on blueberry seedlings imported from the United States of America in 2008. The fungus obtained from the diseased seedlings was identified as Calonectria colhounii based on morphological and molecular characteristics. The consignments of the blueberry seedlings infected with C. colhounii were destroyed to prevent introduction of the fungus to Korea.

Ⅰ. 서론 Ⅱ. 선행연구 Ⅲ. 연구모형 및 연구가설 Ⅳ. 실증분석 Ⅴ. 결론 참고문헌 복합운송주선인과 화주의 관계에서 발생하는 다양한 서비스 실패 요인을 파악하고, 서비스 실패 요인이 서비스 회복노력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 규명하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 통해 복합운송주선인의 서비스 실패에 따른 회복을 위해 화주의 부정적인 반응을 효과적으로 처리해 줄 수 있는 서비스 회복전략을 체계화하고, 화주와의 관계성 강화 및 신규고객 창출을 위한 실무적 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구의 결과를 구체적으로 살펴보면 첫째, 인적 요인에 의한 서비스 실패, 규정적 요인에 의한 서비스 실패, 기본적 요인에 의한 서비스 실패가 발생한 경우 심리적 회복노력이 효과적인 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 인적 요인에 의한 서비스 실패, 기본적 요인에 의한 서비스 실패, 환경적 요인에 의한 서비스 실패가 발생한 경우에는 물질적 회복노력이 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 물류서비스 제공 기업은 서비스 실패에 대해 즉각적인 인정, 피해에 대한 공감, 사과, 회복할 수 있다는 믿음 제공 등의 심리적 회복노력이나, 서비스의 재제공, 보상, 비용 할인, 부가 서비스 제공 등과 같은 물질적 보상이 제공되어야만 화주기업의 실망이나 불만족이 회복될 수 있으며, 적절한 회복노력은 불만족의 회복을 넘어 서비스 재이용율을 높이는 데도 기여할 수 있다.

Pseudo-obstruction is a clinical syndrome caused by ineffective intestinal propulsion and characterized by symptoms and signs of intestinal obstruction in the absence of an occluding lesion of the intestinal lumen. A 65-year-old male who complained of abdominal pain and obspitation. (not constipation?) was admitted. Simple abdominal radiographs revealed marked colonic dilatation without mechanical obstruction suggesting pseudo-obstruction. Clinical response with conservative care failed to improve the patient. 2.0 mg of neostigmine which was recently reported to be an effective way to decompress the colon in patients with acute colonic pseudo-obstruction, was administered.
