Controlled synthesis and luminescence properties of doped NaLa(WO4)2 microstructures
Yunhua Han,Yan Wang,Shaohua Huang,Fan-Long Jin,Shili Gai,Na Niu,Liuzhen Wang,Piaoping Yang 한국공업화학회 2016 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.34 No.-
In this work, well-defined NaLa(WO4)2microstructures were prepared by a facile hydrothermal processin the presence of oleylamine and oleic acid as a mixed surfactant. The phase, morphology, size andluminescence properties were well characterized by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electronmicroscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), photoluminescence (PL) spectra, and decaytime, respectively. The results reveal that the morphology and size of the as-synthesized samples can betuned by altering the reaction time and the amounts of oleic acid. A possible formation mechanism oftetragonal NaLa(WO4)2 is proposed on the basis of oleic acid amount-dependent experiments. Uponultraviolet (UV) excitation, NaLa(WO4)2:Eu3+ and NaLa(WO4)2:Tb3+ exhibit the characteristic downconversionemissions of Eu3+ and Tb3+. Yb3+/Er3+ and Yb3+/Tm3+ co-doped NaLa(WO4)2 samples showstrong green (Er3+, 4S3/2, 2H11/2!4I15/2) and blue (Tm3+, 1G4!3H6) up-conversion emission under980 nm laser diode excitation. Upconversion emission mechanisms of NaLa(WO4)2:Ln (Ln = Yb/Er, Yb/Tm) are also presented based on the emission spectra and the plot of luminescence intensity to pumppower. It should be noted that the intensity of the upconversion emissions can be dramatically enhancedcompared with sodium free tungstates, which can be attributed to the charge compensation and meansthe introduction of Na+ ions in WO42 causes less distortion in the crystal structure.
Secure Data Sanitization for Android Device Users
Na Huang,Jingsha He,Bin Zhao 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.9 No.5
To protect the data confidentiality of Android device users, this paper proposed a user-level secure data sanitization method which can make sensitive data stored in flash memory unrecoverable. The proposed method using reversed-scanning algorithm to reduce time and it don’t need overwriting or erase the whole flash memory. After sensitive data pages are found, the program targetedly overwriting some blocks, erase them, and insert them into free block list waiting to be located again which means the blocks will be twice overwrited by new data.

Being the origin of Shanghai City, the Old Town presents a high-density spatial texture, a characteristic of local living conditions in the Shanghai context. However, the Old Town is faced with competing interests: the preservation of historic urban features and the improvement of contemporary living conditions. In view of its high density and poor living conditions, this paper focuses on two types of blocks for urban design research, and proposes two spatial regeneration strategies, as "overlapping lilong" and "texture continuity". It is expected to inherit the regional characteristics of urban space, improve the plot ratio and supplement the mix of functions, through the translation of the traditional lilong typology and the reproduction of historical streets and alleys, so as to provide operable spatial strategies and design methods for the organic renewal of Old Town and other historic districts.
Reconstructing Fragmented YAFFS2 Files for Forensic Analysis
Na Huang,Jingsha He,Bin Zhao,Gongzheng Liu,Xuejiao Wan 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.8 No.7
Data recovery from captured intelligent mobile devices such as smartphones plays a significant role in digital forensic analysis. In this paper, we study the main characteristics of NAND flash and YAFFS2 file systems and explore the method for recovering YAFFS2 files for forensic analysis based on Tnode tree that can save a lot of time compared to other data recovery methods. For any broken file that has missing or broken data pages, we propose to reuse pages from previous versions of the current file based on the chunk IDs of the missing pages to replace and thus recover such pages. We will describe the replacement method with detailed steps and also perform some analysis to show that the proposed replacement approach can be feasible and effective in reconstructing YAFFS2 files.

The purpose of this work was to separate isoflavone aglycones from soy whey wastewater after foam fractionation and acidic hydrolysis using chitosan microspheres. The maximal equilibrium adsorption capacity could be obtained at pH 6.0. The adsorption isotherm fitted better to the Freundlich equation model and the adsorption was an exothermic and spontaneous physical process. The maximal desorption ratio of isoflavone aglycones could reach 94.82% by using 70% (v/v) ethanol as desorption solution. Moreover, the regenerated chitosan microspheres could be reused for separating isoflavone aglycones from the feeding solution up to five times without compromising their function.

Huang, Mingai,Choi, Seong-Jin,Kim, Dong-Won,Kim, Na-Young,Park, Choong-Hee,Yu, Seung-Do,Kim, Dae-Seon,Park, Kyung-Su,Song, Jae-Seok,Kim, Heon,Choi, Byung-Sun,Yu, Il-Je,Park, Jung-Duck Informa UK (TaylorFrancis) 2009 Journal of toxicology and environmental health. Pa Vol.72 No.21
<P>Cadmium (Cd) and arsenic (As) are widely distributed in the environment and are known human carcinogens. Several studies reported that chronic exposure to Cd and As produced renal injuries in humans. As one of the mechanisms, oxidative stress was suggested to play a role in the early process of Cd- and/or As-induced tubular damage in the kidney. This study was performed to evaluate the significance of urinary biomarkers, role of oxidative stress, and effect of coexposure to environmental low-level exposure to Cd and/or As in the general population. Urine samples were collected from 290 adults (86 males and 204 females). Urinary concentrations of Cd and As were measured, and kidney biomarkers of toxicity such as ss(2)-microglobulin and N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase (NAG) activity determined in urine. Urinary malondialdehyde (MDA) and 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) levels were measured as oxidative stress indices. The mean concentration of Cd was 1.21 mug/L, 0.84 mug/g creatinine, and As was 5.7 mug/L, 3.95 mug/g creatinine in urine. NAG, MDA, and 8-OHdG were positively correlated with both Cd and As in urine. Positive correlations were also observed between NAG and oxidative indices. The effects of coexposure to Cd and As on biomarkers are more pronounced than for exposure to each metal alone. These findings suggest that chronic exposure to low levels of Cd and/or As might produce tubular damage in the kidney through oxidative stress in humans.</P>

Objective: The prognostic role of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in bladder cancer remains controversial. This meta-analysis aimed to explore any association between overexpression and survival outcomes. Methods: We systematically searched for studies investigating the relationships between VEGF expression and outcome of bladder cancer patients. Study quality was assessed using the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale. After careful review, survival data were extracted from eligible studies. A meta-analysis was performed to generate combined hazard ratios (HRs) for overall survival (OS), disease-free survival (DFS) and disease-specific survival (DSS). Results: A total of 1,285 patients from 11 studies were included in the analysis. Our results showed that tissue VEGF overexpression in patients with bladder cancer was associated with poor prognosis in terms of OS (HR, 1.843; 95% CI, 1.231-2.759; P = 0.003), DFS (HR, 1.498; 95% CI, 1.255-1.787; P = 0.000) and DSS (HR, 1.562; 95% CI, 0.996-1.00; P = 0.052), though the difference for DSS was not statistically significant. In addition, there was no evidence of publication bias as suggested by Begg's and Egger's tests except for DFS (Begg's test, P = 0.221; Egger's test, P = 0.018). Conclusion: The present meta-analysis indicated elevated VEGF expression to be associated with a poor prognosis in patients with bladder cancer.
Analysis of the Sideband Effect on the Stability of the Voltage-Mode-Controlled Boost Converter
Na Yan,Xinbo Ruan,Yazhou Wang,Xinze Huang 전력전자학회 2019 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.2019 No.5
Although the small-signal model of the loop gain, which quantitatively include the sideband effect, have been proposed in the resent research, all results are for buck converters. When applying these results for the Voltage-Mode-Controlled(VMC) boost converter, the instability phenomenon, in some cases the converter with the leadingedge modulation is stable while with the trailing-edge modulation it becomes unstable, still couldn’t be explained as the case that using average model. In order to indicate why these results aren’t suitable for boost converter, it is firstly pointed out that the high-frequency characteristic of the duty ratio-to-output transfer function Gvd(s), which the average model fails to describe, could affect the low-frequency performance of the loop gain and the modulator. Then, we give the theoretical prediction of Gvd(s) by using the describe function method, which has excellent agreement with the measured results especially in the high-frequency region. By using the corresponding obtained loop gain, the aforementioned phenomenon would be explained. The work demonstrates significant importance of the research into the sideband effect on the stability for the DC/DC converter and the DC system.
