TiO₂ 담체상에서 귀금속 촉매의 휘발성유기화합물 산화특성

In this study, monometallic Pt and bimetallic Pt-Ru, Pt-Ir were supported to TiO₂. In order to distribute metals uniformly, and Xylene, toluene and MEK were used as reactants. The monometallic or bimetallic catalysts were prepared by the excess wetness impregnation method and were characterized by XPS and BET analysis. As a result, Pt-Ru, Pt-Ir bimetallic catalysts were showed higher conversion than Pt monometallic catalyst. Pt-Ir bimetallic catalyst was showed highest conversion on the TiO₂ support. In the VOCs oxidation, Pt-Ir bimetallic catalyst had multipoint active sites, so it improved the range of Pt metal state. Therefore, bimetallic catalysts were higher conversion of VOCs than monometallic ones. In the kinetics, VOCs oxidation was appeared on the first order reaction. In this study, the use of small amount of Jr to Pt promoted oxidation conversion of VOCs.
RAPD와 핵 리보솜 DNA ITS2 염기서열에 의한 한국산 전나무속 식물의 유전적 변이 및 계통유전학적 분석

We analyzed the genetic variation and phylogenetic relationship among fourteen taxa of GenusAbies distributed in Korea using random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) and internal transcribed spacer (ITS) 2 sequences of the nuclear ribosomal DNA (rDNA). RAPDs were used for identification of selected taxa by amplification using single 10-mer primers of arbitrary sequence. Fourteen taxa were clearly classified with 10 arbitrary primers, which generated 102 useful polymorphic bands that were evaluated according to the presence or absence of the fragments of equal size. The genetic distance between A. koreana for. chlorocarpa and A. koreana for. rubrocarpa was 0.127, showing the closest among any other pairs. By comparing the base sequences in the ITS2 region of the nuclear rDNA, genetic relationship was assesed among selected taxa. It showed twenty six sites of point mutation (base substitution) in 243 base pairs (bp) of ITS2 region. The G+C contents of ITS2 region were ranged from 58.3% to 61.7%. The value of nucleotide divergence among selected taxa was ranged from 0.4% to 9.8%. These results showed that RAPD and ITS2 sequence analysis was a useful tool for elucidating phylogenetic relationship and selection of specific marker in Abies species.
벗나무속 수종간의 핵 리보솜 DNA의 ITS Ⅰ 염기서열 비교

Comparison of four species (Prunus yedoensis, P. sargentii, P. pendula for. ascendens, P. serrulata var. quelpaertensis) and one cultivar of P. yedoensis were carried out by comparing their nucleotide sequences from the internal transcribed spacers (ITS) I of nuclear ribosomal DNA (rDNA). The length of the ITS I region was ranged from 229 to 236 base pairs (bp). The G+C contents of ITS I ranged from 58.5 to 60.2%. The value of nucleotide divergence across for four Prunus species and one cultivar ranged from 0.4 to 6%. The pairwise distance between P. pendula for. ascendens and P. yedoensis was 0.004 showing the lowest value among any other pairs. On the other hand, the pairwise distance betwen P. yedoensis and cultivated P. yedoensis was 0.026. The nucleotide analysis based on ITS I sequence was considerably similar to previous studies on the basis of random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD).
In vitro Derby Imaging of Cancer Biomarkers Using Quantum Dots

<P>Semiconductor quantum dots (QDs), which have broad absorption with narrow emission spectra, are useful for multiplex imaging. Here, fluorescence derby imaging using dual color QDs conjugated by the AS1411 aptamer (targeting nucleolin) and the arginine–glycine–aspartic acid (targeting the integrin α<SUB>v</SUB>β<SUB>3</SUB>) in cancer cells is reported. Simultaneous fluorescence imaging of cellular distribution of nucleolin and integrin α<SUB>v</SUB>β<SUB>3</SUB> using QDs enables easy monitoring of separate targets in the cancer cells and the normal healthy cells. These results suggest the feasibility of a concurrent visualization of QD-based multiple cancer biomarkers using small molecules such as aptamer or peptide ligands.</P> <B>Graphic Abstract</B> <P>In vitro derby imaging of RGD peptide targeting integrin α<SUB>v</SUB>β<SUB>3</SUB> protein (green in image) and AS1411 aptamer targeting nucleolin protein (red) using two different quantum dots (605 and 655 nm) is successfully visualized in HeLa cells, simultaneously. Effect of Carbon Sources on the Spore Formation and Growth of Alternaria alternata(Fr.)Keissl

본 연구는 Alternaria alternata(Fe.) Keissl의 생육 및 포자형성에 관한 연구로서 배지조성에 있어서 탄소원을 결정하기 위하여 수행되었다. 1) 부패된 복숭아에서 Alternaria속의 균을 분리하고 Alternaria alternata(Fr.) Keissl로서 동정하였다. 2) 12종의 탄소원을 사용하여 A. alternata균의 생육과 포자형성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였던 바 Dextrin에서 가장 좋은 결과를 얻었으나 Sodium Citrate는 거의 이용되지 못하였다. This study was carried out to find the effect of carbon sources on the spore formation and growth of Alternaria alternata(Fr.) keissl. and to determine the best carbon source for the cultural medium among the various sources. 1) Alternaria species was isolated from the rotted peach fruit and identified with Altanaria alternata(Fr.) keissl. 2) Dextrin was the best carbon source as the cultural medium of Alternaria alternata among the twelve carbon source, but sodium citrate was the poorest one.
