        This study has two purposes-to explain the fundamental concepts of 'docial system' and to demonstrate the value of the parsonsian premise of social system for the explanation of social change. In social science, concepts of systemic approach wart systematically arranged by Talcott Parsons for the first time. His theory is so called 'structural-functionalism' based on equilibrium model. In his term, equilibrium is a resultant of opposing forces. In other words, equilibrium implies not only the drive of competing forces to the equilibrium point but also the drive of equilibrium point itself. Therefore, his 'equilibrium model' is theoretical premise about 'moving equilibrium', not static. In chap. II, I explain the fundamental concepts of the parsonsian social system-moral community, role · institution · status, structureㆍfunction, and equilibrium. In chap. III, I tried to find the clue of the 'change' in parsonsian equilibrium model. His model is based on mechanic term, 'Homeostasis.' But, 'structural change' is the concept for the explanation of change. In chap. IV, I present the parsonsian theory about the social change, focused on 'social differentiation.'

      • 다공성 물질에 부착한 토양미생물에 의한 유기성 폐수처리에 관한 실험적 연구

        In this research, Briquette Ashes, one of the important solid wastes in Korea, were used as media in a fixed-film biological process to evaluate the efficiency of organic wasterwater treatment by soil microbes attached to porous media and adsorption capacity of Briquette Ashes in the reactors. As the result, hydraulic retention time and aeration rate for optimum operation were 24 hours, 5ℓ/min in the reactors seeded with microbes. And the adsorption capacity of Briquette Ashes came to get maximum removal efficiency when it was controlled to (24 hours, 4ℓ/min), but removal efficiency was decreased with time. In addition, the organic removal efficiencies were 93.4, 90.8% under these operating conditions respectively. Particularly, NH₃-N efficiency was about 85%, the average value of F/M ratio was 0.15g COD/g VS-day. Setting characteristics of sludge were good, for SVI was 23.6 in the seeding reactors.

        Inhalation therapy has dramatically improved the lifestlye of the younger children with asthma, reflecting both the availability of more effective and safer drugs and alternative methods for their delivery appropriate for the child's age. Requiring further studies, isoproterenol inhalation by the new jet-nebulizer seems to be useful for the management of acute childhood asthma.

      • Bacillus sp. KCM-101에 의한 내열성 α-amylase의 생산 및 효소학적 성질

        A strain isolated from soil was able to produce thermostable α-amylase. The strain (KC-101) was identification as Bacillus sp. Bacillus sp. KC-101 was treated NTG(N-methyl-nitro-nitrosoguanidine). The mutant KCM-101 increased α-amylase activity and decreased pretease activity. The condition for production, purification, and properties of α-amylase were investigated. α-Amylase production was maximized when was grown on soluble starch 2.0%, yeast extract 0.5%, K2HPO4 0.1% and MnCl2 0.02% for 24hrs at 37℃, and initial pH 7.0. The enzyme production was also increased by the addition of 0.01% Triton X-100. The enzyme was purified by ultrafiltration(MW 10,000), 80% ammonium sulfate precipitation, and Sephadex G-75 gel chromatography and it's yield 15.0%, The characteristics of purified α-amylase were as follow : MW 55,000, optimal pH and temperature were 7.0 and 95℃, respectively. The enzyme was activated by Ca++ and Mn++ ion but inhibited Co++, Cu++, Hg++, and Pb++ ion. The enzyme was stable at 95℃ and it's thermostability was greatly increased by the addition of Ca++. In kinetic studies, the Km value of α-amylase for soluble starch was 0.93mg/mL.

        Human life span has continuously expanded due to development of science and modern medicine, period of 'empty nest' has increased from the influence of nuclear family syndrome and individualism, and therefore, problem of loneliness and solitude of the old has become inevitable. We must respectively increase our scope of interest for the old not only to living long and healthy, but also to improvement of life quality and satisfying life. The conditions to maintain life of the old worthy are satisfaction of affection through family or a spouse, mental and physical health, economical stability, good friends, and taking a role to contribute to others, but sexual satisfaction to some level is also an important factor. The old have been recognized as subjects for filial piety, and sex has always been something secret and indecent to show interest for sex since sex through physical satisfaction has been considered bashful and immoral due to existence of Confucianism. This closeness of the old towards sex and the bias of the people that the old do not have sexual interest or the ability, causes social issues such as increase of diffusive disease through sex that develops due to inappropriate relationships and prostitution activity of the old through people so called as 'Bacchus Women's Korea, who target on the money the old have. According to the studies of old academics, the first factor of deciding sexual activity, the sexual drive is not lost even in the old days, and they propose that the reason of decrease in sexual activity is influenced by social environment and attitude of the surrounding people rather than increase in age, which suggests that there is no limit to age in sex life. Moreover, they emphasize on the fact that continuous sex life can decrease negative effect to aging to the old by letting them have higher self-respect and satisfaction for life, and the feeling that 'everything of mine is still alive' through sex. The social features that hides and prohibits sex to the old must not exist anymore. Sex does not exist only for the young, and the old should be able to enjoy sex as not only independent beings who have sacrificed and serviced for one generation, but also as those with experience to have more room and time for sex. Thus, the government, civil organizations, and social education institutions must let the people out of the ignorance and bias of the old towards sex by providing correct information and knowledge about sex of the old, and activation of consultation business and programs for re-marriage of the old is demanded to decrease the number of ole people who live alone. Furthermore, professionals should be allocated at each consultation organizations to provide education chances so the old will not consider their sexual drives sinful. Then a true meaning of welfare for the old can be materialized when sex of the old is recognized not as dark or negative, but as healthy, bright, and beautiful activity.

        상악 치아군의 저항중심의 위치에 관한 3차원 유한요소 해석

        최근 골내 고정 형태의 temporary anchorage device (TAD)를 많이 이용하게 되면서 다양한 위치로부터 그리고 강한 교정력을 이용할 수 있게 되었다. 이에 따라 치아군의 이동양상을 예측하고 치료계획을 세우기 위하여 다양한 치아군의 저항중심의 위치에 대한 이해가 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 3차원 유한요소해석을 이용하여 상악 4전치, 6전치 그리고 상악 전치열에서 3차원적 저항중심의 위치를 조사하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 상악 전치열 14개 치아와 치근막 및 치조골의 3차원 유한요소모델을 제작하였고, 각 치아군별로 치관부를 협측, 설측 호선, 설측 splint wire로 고정하여 개별 치아이동을 최소화하고 적용된 힘이 치아에 고루 분산되도록 하였다. 상악 중절치 절단연의 중점에서 연장된 와이어 빔에 수직, 수평으로 100 g 또는 200 g의 힘을 가하여 치아의 변위를 해석하고, 각 치아군에 속한 치아들이 최대한 평행이동 되는 힘의 적용부위를 저항중심으로 정의하였다. 연구결과 상악 4전치군의 저항중심은 상악 중절치 절단연으로부터 치근방향 13.5 mm, 후방 12.0 mm, 상악 6전치군은 상악 중절치 절단연으로부터 치근방향 13.5 mm, 후방 14.0 mm에 위치하였으며 상악 전치열군의 저항중심은 상악 중절치 절단연으로부터 치근방향 11.0 mm, 후방 26.5 mm에 위치하였다. 본 유한요소 실험모델을 이용하여 얻은 결과는 교정치료의 효율성을 높일 수 있으리라 생각된다. Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the 3-dimensional position of the center of resistance of the 4 maxillary anterior teeth, 6 maxillary anterior teeth, and the full maxillary dentition using 3-dimensional finite element analysis. Methods: Finite element models included the whole upper dentition, periodontal ligament, and alveolar bone. The crowns of the teeth in each group were fixed with buccal and lingual arch wires and lingual splint wires to minimize individual tooth movement and to evenly disperse the forces to the teeth. A force of 100 g or 200 g was applied to the wire beam extended from the incisal edge of the upper central incisor, and displacement of teeth was evaluated. The center of resistance was defined as the point where the applied force induced parallel movement. Results: The results of study showed that the center of resistance of the 4 maxillary anterior teeth group, the 6 maxillary anterior teeth group, and the full maxillary dentition group were at 13.5 mm apical and 12.0 mm posterior, 13.5 mm apical and 14.0 mm posterior, and 11.0 mm apical and 26.5 mm posterior to the incisal edge of the upper central incisor, respectively. Conclusions: It is thought that the results from this finite element models will improve the efficiency of orthodontic treatment.

        쌍발 복합재 비행기의 속도, 고도 보정 및 상승성능에 관한 연구

        Airspeed and altimeter calibration of "win Mee was conducted by the flight test. We have adopted system to system method. Flight test data is corrected for instrumented error and position error, and the resultin data was satisfied. Climb Performance flight test also was conducted. But we could not have all data because of limited flight time. The resulted data was satisfied compare with calculated dab.
