돼지 대동맥판막을 이용한 이첨판 대동맥판막 후류 유동 분석

Aortic valvular stenosis where calcium accumulates in the valve and the valve hardens is the most common heart valve disease in developed countries. The type of aortic valves is generally divided into tricuspid aortic valve (TAV) and congenital malformation bicuspid aortic valve (BAV) stenosis. Although flow characteristics of TAV have been well established, that of BAV is still not fully unelucidated. In this study, we proposed an ex vivo flow visualization platform by using a pig heart. Normal TAV and BAV models were prepared by aortic valve plastic surgery. Valve wake flow characteristics of normal TAV and BAV were compared by using 4D flow magnetic resonance imaging. Normal TAV exhibited that the valve was fully opened during systole, while the valve of BAV was partially opened. The Stroke volume of the normal TAV and BAV were similar. However, the peak velocity of BAV was higher than that of the TAV. The effect of malfunction of BAV on hemodynamics was systematically analyzed. This study would be helpful for diagnosing aortic stenosis and understanding prognosis prediction especially for aortic stenosis patients with BAV.

This study aimed to analyze design factors to improve cooling performance of hydraulic thermoelectric radiant cooling panel (hTERCP) by parametric simulation. The simulation were conducted to examine desirable flow rate and temperature of cooling water produced by free cooling systems, and to analyze an influence of heat exchange area between cooling panel and conditioned zone, heat exchange rate and thermal resistance of heat sink. The results showed that the temperature of cooling water as heat removal factor and heat exchange area between panel and zone have great impact on the cooling performance of the panel. On the other hand, the flow rate of cooling water, and heat exchange rate and thermal resistance of heat sink have relatively less impact on the cooling performance of the panel.
협상가들의 조절 초점과 협상력이 협상 결과에 미치는 영향

조절 초점 이론은 쾌락주의 원리를 바탕으로 인간을 향상 또는 예방 중심적인 행태를 가지고 있다고 설명한다. 향상 초점의 사람들은 부정적인 결과보다 긍정적인 결과에 접근하는 반면, 예방 중심적인 사람들은 부정적인 결과를 예방하거나 피하는 것에 초점을 둔다. 이런 개인적 동기는 협상 상황에서 협상가가 어떤 갈등관리 전략을 사용하는지에 영향을 미친다. 기존 연구에서는 예방 중심적인 협상가들이 최소한의 이익을 먼저 확보하려는 성향이 강해 향상 중심적인 협상가들보다 적극적인 양보를 기대하기 힘들다고 한다. 갈등관리 전략 모형을 빗대어서 보면, 예방 중심적인 협상가들은 상대방에게 더 많은 양보를 ‘강요’하는 전략을 선호하고 향상 중심적 협상가들은 긍정적인 협상 결과를 위해 ‘타협’ 전략을 사용하는 경향이 있다. 하지만 개인의 조절 초점뿐만 아니라 협상에서의 협상력도 협상가들의 협상 전략 선택에 영향을 미친다. 높은 협상력을 가진 협상가들은 상대방에게 더 많은 양보를 강요할 가능성이 있지만, 협상 테이블에서 낮은 협상력을 가진 협상가들은 타협전략을 사용하여 높은 힘을 가진 협상가들에게 양보를 유도 할 가능성이 더 클 수도 있다. 이 연구는 협상가들의 조절 초점을 중심으로 동등하거나 불평등한 협상력 조건에서 어떤 종류의 조절 초점이 더 나은 공동의 이익을 얻는지 알아보기 위해 경영학과에 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 가상의 직원 계약 협상을 시행했다. 연구 결과는 예방 초점의 협상가들이 향상 초점의 협상가들보다 동등한 협상력 조건에서 상대방에게 양보를 강요하는 전략을 사용할 가능성이 적다는 결과가 나왔지만, 양보, 강요 또는 타협 전략을 사용한 결과로서 협상가들의 공동의 이익에서는 큰 차이를 보이지 못했다. Regulatory focus theory (Higgins, 1998) proposes individuals are either promotionfocused or prevention-focused toward their ideals. Promotion-focused people are likely to approach positive outcomes whereas prevention-focused individuals are likely to prevent or avoid negative outcomes. Such personal motives affect his or her behavior in negotiation as well for example, who will use either forcing or problem-solving strategy during negotiation. Forcing strategy increases individual gain, while problemsolving strategy increases joint profit. Not only individuals’ regulatory focus, but also their bargaining power in negotiation also influence on strategic choice. Negotiators with high power may be more likely to force the other party to concede more, while those with low power may be more likely to induce high power negotiators to make a concession through using problem-solving strategy. However, individuals’ regulatory focus could also influence their selection of negotiation strategy strategic in response to power asymmetry. The current study used a hypothetical employee contract negotiation to test what kind of regulatory foci leads to better joint gain under equal or unequal power condition. Results indicated that prevention-focused negotiators are less likely to use forcing strategy in equal power condition, but there were no big differences in joint gain as results of using either forcing or problem-solving strategy.
열전소자와 상변화물질을 적용한 건물 일체형 태양광 발전 시스템 개발

Building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPVs) are among the most promising renewable energy systems for densely populated urban. However, BIPV system showed some critical defects in efficiency which the limited insolation and the absence of heat dissipation structure. Therefore, resolving these shortcomings requires system solutions that can increase the PV efficiency or utilize heat sources to improve system efficiency. The phase change material is one of the promising ways to improve the PV efficiency or using the heat source. However, owing to problems caused by the low thermal conductivity of PCMs, many studies have combined heat fins and nano-fluid PCMs. In addition, some studies have proposed and investigated methods of heat recovery combine TEGs, which can generate electric power depending on the temperature difference without additional equipment. However, TEGs also have the disadvantage of very low power generation efficiency if they do not achieve a high temperature difference. Therefore, in this study, to address the limitations of each application, a BIPV combined with a PCM and TEG (BIPV-TEG-PCM) is proposed. Herein, the appropriate phase change temperature of the PCM and heat pipe design in the PCM container were analyzed through computational fluid dynamics(CFD)-based simulations.
