Rate-Splitting for Intelligent Reflecting Surface-Assisted CR-NOMA Systems
You, Haoyu,Hongwu, Liu,Bai, Zhiquan,Tsiftsis, Theodoros,Kwak, Kyung Sup 한국통신학회 2023 Journal of communications and networks Vol.25 No.1
Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) has been re-garded as promising technique to improve system performancefor wireless communications. In this paper, we propose a rate-splitting (RS) scheme for an IRS-assisted cognitive radio-inspirednon-orthogonal multiple access (CR-NOMA) system, where theprimary user’s (PU’s) quality of service (QoS) requirementsmust be guaranteed to be same as in orthogonal multipleaccess. Assisted by IRS, the threshold for the PU’s tolerableinterference power is improved, which in turn makes it possibleto increase the achievable rate for the secondary user (SU). The optimal transmit power allocation, target rate allocation, and successive interference cancellation (SIC) decoding order arejointly designed for the proposed RS scheme. Taking into accountthe statistics of the direct link and IRS reflecting channels, closed-form expression for the PU’s and SU’s outage probabilities arerespectively derived. Various simulation results are presentedto clarify the enhanced outage performance achieved by theproposed RS scheme over the existing CR-NOMA and IRS-assisted CR-NOMA schemes.

Xiaoyun Feng,Liu Haoyu,Yang Xing-ke,Yang Yuxia 한국응용곤충학회 2023 Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology Vol.26 No.4
Four new species of Rhagonycha Eschscholtz, 1830 are described, including Rh. hainanensis sp. nov. (China, Hainan), Rh. nigroimpressimima sp. nov. (China, Fujian), Rh. tumida sp. nov. and Rh. nigrotibia sp. nov. (China, Guangxi). These new species are illustrated with habitus, aedeagi, abdominal sternites VIII and internal genitalia of females. Besides, the female internal genitalia of Rh. nigroimpressa (Pic, 1922a) is illustrated for the first time to make comparison with the new species. An identification key and a distribution map of those Rhagonycha species with yellowish elytra from southeast China are present.
The Text Mining Analysis of Macau’s Participation in International Organizations
Wu Shianghau,Liu Chengkun,Shi Haoyu,Pang Chuan 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.9 No.11
In recent years, Macau has actively participated in international organizations according to the Macau Basic Law. After fifteen years of regaining sovereignty by China, Macau has faced some internal and external challenges. In order to comprehend the new policy directions regarding Macau’s participation in international organizations, this paper made the depth interviews and applied the text mining analysis to the interviews responses. Through applying the random forests model and fruit fly optimization algorithm to keywords classification, the study concluded several points related to Macau’s participation in international organizations.

This paper presents a quadratic-type high step-up DC–DC converter for renewable energy applications with a continuousinput current. To reduce the number of components while increasing the gain, a quadratic boost converter and two multiplier cells are applied as the primary and secondary circuit with one coupled inductor connected. In addition, the clamp circuit shares its components with both the second boost stage and the voltage multiplier, which increases the power density. As a result, the leakage energy is recycled and the voltage stress can be suppressed. The operation principles and steady-state analyses including loss analysis of the proposed converter are addressed in detail. Compared with relevant existing topologies of quadratic converter, the proposed converter performs a higher voltage gain and a lower power switch stress. To validate the performance, a 200 W experimental prototype is constructed and tested with 20 V of input voltage and 400 V of output voltage, where the highest efficiency is 95.2% and the full-load efficiency is 93.7%. The performance under dynamic conditions is also verified. In the end, an improved topology based on the proposed converter is supplemented.

In order to realize the precise positioning of the tools in the pipeline repair operation, solve the problems of the traditional throttle speed control, such as slow response, long deceleration distance and so on, this paper explores a deceleration process of a pipeline intelligent plugging robot (PIPR) that relies on the friction between slips and the pipe, and establishes its dynamic model based on fuzzy PID force servo control. The influence of PIPR initial velocity, expected deceleration distance, accumulator setting on the response time, positioning accuracy, overshoot and stability during deceleration is analyzed, and the results show that: as the initial velocity increases, the time for slips to contact the pipe decreases, the overshoot of the centroid acceleration gradually increases, the maximum overshoot is -3.4 m/s 2 , the control time of the deceleration process is within 30 s, the positioning accuracy is within 5 %; the expected deceleration distance has a greater impact on the positioning accuracy of the system than the initial velocity; and the accumulator setting has little effect on the positioning accuracy and stability of the system. These studies provide guidance for the design of pipeline robot speed control and positioning system.

Stipa purpurea is a unique and dominant herbaceous plant species in the alpine steppe and meadows on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (QTP). In this work, we analyzed the composition and diversity of the culturable endophytic fungi in S. purpurea according to morphological and molecular identification. Then, we investigated the bioactivities of these fungi against plant pathogenic fungi and 1- aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate deaminase (ACCD) deaminase activities. A total of 323 fungal isolates were first isolated from S. purpurea, and 33 fungal taxa were identified by internal transcribed spacer primers and grouped into Ascomycota. The diversity of endophytic fungi in S. purpurea was significantly higher in roots as compared to leaves. In addition, more than 40% of the endophytic fungi carried the gene encoding for the ACCD gene. The antibiosis assay demonstrated that 29, 35, 28, 37 and 34 isolates (43.9, 53.1, 42.4, 56.1, and 51.5%) were antagonistic to five plant pathogenic fungi, respectively. Our study provided the first assessment of the diversity of culturedepending endophytic fungi of S. purpurea, demonstrated the potential application of ACCD activity and antifungal activities with potential benefits to the host plant, and contributed to high biomass production and adaptation of S. purpurea to an adverse environment.
