A novel preparation and formation mechanism of carbon nanotubes aerogel

        Li Shaolong,He Yan,Jing Chengwei,Gong Xiubin,Cui Lianlei,Cheng Zhongyue,Zhang Chuanqi,Nan Fei 한국탄소학회 2018 Carbon Letters Vol.28 No.-

A novel, unique, and effective method for carbon nanotube (CNT) dispersion by the free arc stimulation is proposed. CNTs are introduced as an aerogel into the air space via the dispersion method and can be utilized as a solution by adding it to solvents. The volume of the original generated CNT aerogel with a high-volume expansion ratio displays a performance two orders of magnitudes better than that of raw CNTs, which is considered a powerful characterization of the dispersion effect. The CNT aerogel, which was observed by scanning electron microscopy also showed a satisfactory dispersion morphology. Its structure and properties were tested before and after dispersion by Raman spectroscopy and great consistency was observed, which proved that the CNTs were undamaged. This approach may greatly promote the large-scale application of CNTs.

Preparation of light-transmissive conductive film by free arc dispersed carbon nanotubes and thermos compression bonding

Li Shaolong,Qingdao University of Science and Technology,Qingdao University of Science and Technology,Qingdao University of Science and Technology,Liu Xingyang,He Yan,Zhang Chuanqi,Wang Jinyu,Fu Jinfe 한국탄소학회 2020 Carbon Letters Vol.30 No.6

To investigate the efect of gas dispersing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and hot pressing method on the transparency and the conductivity of thin flms, the free arc was used to disperse the CNTs in a high dispersion rate, and the dispersed CNTs were rapidly pressed into the surface of the PET flm by hot pressing to obtain electrical conductivity. The relationship between the light transmission and sheet resistance of the flm was studied by changing the deposition time and the presence or absence of electrostatic adsorption. It was found that the CNTs modifed flm still retains good electrical conductivity (sheet resistance up to 6×104 Ω, light transmittance 69%) through the cleaning of surfactants and ultrasonic waves, which proves that hot pressing is a simple physical method to achieve efective combination of CNTs and flms.

Free arc liquid‑phase dispersion method for the preparation of carbon nanotube dispersion

        Shaolong Li,Youdong Ci,Da Zhang,Chuanqi Zhang,Yan He 한국탄소학회 2021 Carbon Letters Vol.31 No.2

In this study, a new method of rapid preparation of carbon nanotube (CNT) solution with highly dispersed morphology by free arc excitation is proposed, which shortens the time of the preparation of CNT solution with low concentration. The principle is that the high-energy flow density heat generated by the free arc makes the vaporizable substance coated on the surface of CNTs vaporize rapidly, and then generates the bulk increasing motion, which makes the CNTs aggregates dispersed, and finally forms the CNTs gas-phase dispersion monomer with high dispersion or the cross-linking morphology of few CNTs. In this paper, the influence of gum Arabic (GA) and deionized water (DI water) contents in CNTs mixed electrode on the dispersion of CNTs in different environments (gas phase and liquid phase) is explored. In the limited case of this work, the dispersion effect is better when the mass ratio of CNTs, GA and DI water is 1:0.04:3.96 in the liquid-phase environment. The preparation method reported in this work is expected to be a rapid way to obtain low-concentration nanodispersion.

Weak compressibility effects on the pressure fluctuation at RSI in a high-speed centrifugal pump

        Shaolong Wang,Xiaoping Chen,Xiaojun Li,BaoLing Cui,Zu-chao Zhu 대한기계학회 2022 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.36 No.10

This study presents large eddy simulation of high-speed centrifugal pump at approximate quarter load (0.23 Q d ) and design load (Q d ) conditions. Two liquid models, including weak compressible and incompressible assumptions, are considered to investigate the weak compressibility effects (WCE) on the pressure fluctuation at rotor-stator interaction (RSI). Researches show that the performance is slightly increased by the WCE at both the flow rates, which deviate from the experimental data within 5 %. There is a phase deviation between the pressure fluctuation of the two assumptions. The amplitudes of pressure fluctuation and pressure spectra are affected by the WCE, especially in the guide vane channel far away from the tongue. The first and second frequencies of pressure spectra are 12 and 6 times the rotation frequency, respectively, which are insensitive to the WCE. The influence of WCE on the pressure fluctuation and pressure spectra is significant at 0.23 Q d and gradually weakened at Q d .

Magnetic Field Calculation and Multi-objective Optimization of Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Generator with Coreless Stator Windings

        Zhu Jun,Li Shaolong,Song Dandan,Han Qiaoli,Li guanghua 대한전기학회 2018 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.13 No.4

For the problem that the complexity of 3-D modeling and multi parameter optimization, as well as the uncertainty of the winding factor of axial flux permanent magnet generator with coreless windings. The complex 3-D model was simplified into 2-D analytic model, and an analytical formula for the winding factor that adapting different coreless stator winding is proposed in this paper. The analytical solution for air-gap magnetic fields, no-load back EMF, electromagnetic torque, and efficiency are calculated by using this method. The multiple objective and multivariable optimization of the maximum fundamental and the minimum harmonic content of back EMF are performed by using response surface methodology. The proposed optimum design method was applied to make a generator. The generator was tested and the calculated results are compared with the proposed method, which show good agreements.

Postoperative circulating tumor DNA detection and CBLB mutations are prognostic biomarkers for gastric cancer

        Zhou Hekai,Liu Houcong,Li Jun,Wang Jidong,Fu Xiaohong,Li Yingqiang,Mao Shaolong,Du Jihui 한국유전학회 2023 Genes & Genomics Vol.45 No.8

Background Several studies have demonstrated that circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) can be used to predict the postoperative recurrence of several cancers. However, there are few studies on the use of ctDNA as a prognosis tool for gastric cancer (GC) patients. Objective This study aims to determine whether ctDNA could be used as a prognostic biomarker in GC patients through multigene-panel sequencing. Methods Using next-generation sequencing (NGS) Multigene Panels, the mutational signatures associated with the prognosis of GC patients were identified. We calculated the survival probability with Kaplan–Meier and used the Log-rank test to compare survival curves between ctDNA-positive and ctDNA-negative groups. Potential application of radiology combined with tumor plasma biomarker analysis of ctDNA in GC patients was carried out. Results Disease progression is more likely in ctDNA-positive patients as characterized clinically by a generally higher T stage and a poorer therapeutic response (P < 0.05). ctDNA-positive patients also had worse overall-survival (OS: P = 0.203) and progression-free survival (PFS: P = 0.037). The combined analysis of ctDNA, radiological, and serum biomarkers in four patients indicated that ctDNA monitoring can be a good complement to radiological and plasma tumor markers for GC patients. Kaplan–Meier analysis using a cohort of GC patients in the TCGA database showed that patients with CBLB mutations had shorter OS and PFS than wild-type patients (OS: P = 0.0036; PFS: P = 0.0027). Conclusions This study confirmed the utility and feasibility of ctDNA in the prognosis monitoring of gastric cancer.
