        애니메이션영화의 흥행성과 결정 요인에 관한 연구

        This study tries to analyze which factors affect animation movies" box office revenues, focusing on movies released in Korea between 2004 and 2011. A dependent variable is the number of audiences in the whole country. Such independent variables are employed : film ratings, nationality, release time, sequel/remake, power of distributors, the number of screens, online reviews, and critics" reviews. The data were collected from Korean Film Council, the Naver Movie Web sites, and Cine21. The results show that both the number of screens and the number of netizen reviewers turn out to be positively significant. The summer release has a negative influence on box office revenues and number of screens.       • Kalman Filter-Based Coarse-to-Fine Control for Display Visual Alignment Systems

        <P>A coarse-to-line two-stage control method is investigated for the display visual alignment systems. The proposed visual servo is with hierarchical loops, where the original line but slow vision loop is necessary for the exact localization of alignment marks while the coarse but fast vision loop of exploiting pruned image data is to compensate for the mask-panel misalignment. The degraded resolution of the reduced images is recovered in terms of the Kalman filter which tracks the mark centroids in near realtime. In order to construct the recursive estimation algorithm, the motion model for the moving alignment marks is determined by solving the forward kinematics of positioning mechanism and the measurements from vision sensors are given by means of the geometric template matching (Kwon and Hwang, “Kinematics, pattern recognition, and motion control of mask-panel alignment system,” Control Eng. Practice, vol. 19, pp. 883-892, 2011). Compared with the conventional alignment methods, this approach enables a fast and line alignment control. Experimental results are followed to validate the proposed control framework. Note to Practitioners-In order to successfully apply the developed alignment control to any display manufacturing equipment, it is necessary to well understand the principle of the geometric template matching (GTM) as an alignment mark specific fast algorithm, the details on which can be consulted in our preceding works (Kwon and Hwang, “Kinematics, pattern recognition, and motion control of mask-panel alignment system,” Control Eng. Practice, vol. 19, pp. 883-892, 2011). The new approach has the goal of updating the pose of an alignment mark as fast as the capturing rate of a frame grabber by utilizing pruned image data but recovering the lost resolution in terms of the Kalman filter. For example, in using a common 30 fps grabber, the reduced image of 320 240 pixels is a proper choice to finish the image processing and Kalman filtering within 30 ms under GTM. The proposed algorithm can be implemented in the current industrial display aligners by modifying the control software so that the reference inputs for the distributed joint servos follow the error compensation trajectory in Fig. 4 with the Kalman filter estimates.</P>

        정보기술의 혁신과 함께 접근성과 편의성이 높은 비대면 채널의 로보어드바이저가 확산되고 있다. 금융소비자가 자신의 주관적인 투자성향을 포함하는 금융정보를 직접 입력하게 하는 것이 용이하지 않을 수 있다. 따라서 고객이 VOC나 온라인 상에 노출한 비정형자료를 기반으로 투자성향을 자동으로 파악 파악하는 하는 방법이 필요할 수 있다. 그런데 문서를 기반으로 한 예측기법은 각 분야별 텍스트의 성격이 많은 차이를 보이고 있다. 이에 따라 예측 성능이 달라지기 때문에 다양한 학습판별 알고리즘의 예측 성능평가를 수행함으로써, 금융소비자 성향 평가에 최적의 판별 규칙을 가진 알고리즘을 선정하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 잠재적 투자자가 공유한 온라인 상의 비정형 텍스트를 분석하고 자동적으로 그에 맞는 투자상품을 추천하여 주는 지능적 방법을 제안한다.

      • Hybrid-type spatial mask–panel alignment system for manufacturing flat panel displays

        <P>A hybrid-type three-dimensional visual alignment system is suggested, which is to align pattern mask and glass panel for manufacturing flat panel displays. In order to compensate for the spatial misalignments between mask and panel, a pair of decoupled positioning mechanisms are adopted, where the lower 4-PPR parallel kinematic machine provides 3-degree-of-freedom motions to the pattern mask like the current in-plane alignment systems, while the upper 4-RPS machine gives an independent 3-degree-of-freedom mobility to the glass panel along the directions excluded in the mask movement. Hence, the combinatorial motion of the two positioning mechanisms completes a spatial mask–panel alignment. In this article, two fundamental issues are solved for the operation of the hybrid alignment system. First, the inverse kinematic solutions for the hybrid parallel mechanisms are derived to determine the displacements of active joints for an arbitrary misalignment in the task space. Second, it is developed how to extract the spatial misalignment between mask and panel in real time in terms of three in-plane cameras and the focus value Gaussian model.</P>

        Alternative translation initiation of Caveolin-2 desensitizes insulin signaling through dephosphorylation of insulin receptor by PTP1B and causes insulin resistance

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Insulin resistance, defined as attenuated sensitivity responding to insulin, impairs insulin action. Direct causes and molecular mechanisms of insulin resistance have thus far remained elusive. Here we show that alternative translation initiation (ATI) of Caveolin-2 (Cav-2) regulates insulin sensitivity. Cav-2β isoform yielded by ATI desensitizes insulin receptor (IR) via dephosphorylation by protein-tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B), and subsequent endocytosis and lysosomal degradation of IR, causing insulin resistance. Blockage of Cav-2 ATI protects against insulin resistance by preventing Cav-2β-PTP1B-directed IR desensitization, thereby normalizing insulin sensitivity and glucose uptake.       • ATM 클러스터링 시스템을 위한 효율적인 에러 복구 프로토콜

        ATM Clustering System과 같이 SAN(System Area Network) 환경에서 동작하는 시스템은 낮은 지연시간과 넓은 대역폭의 네트워크가 필수적이나 기존의 에러 복구 프로토콜들은 이러한 요구를 충족시키기에는 큰 오버헤드를 가지고 있다. 제안된 새로운 에러 복구 프로토콜은 ATM Clustering System 환경에서 최적의 성능을 나타내는 light-weight 프로토콜로 에러가 없는 상황과 에러 복구가 진행중인 상황에 따라 acknowledgement 주기를 적응적으로 변화시키는 adaptive acknowledgement scheme를 제안하여 적용하였다. 제안된 프로토콜은 상용 툴인 SDT를 이용한 논리 검증 받았고, DEVSim++ 환경에서의 성능 분석을 통해 프로토콜이 최상의 성능을 보이기 위한 파라메터 값을 찾았고, 이 값을 적용하였을 때의 성능을 기존의 프로토콜과 비교하여 제안된 프로토콜이 더 우수함을 확인하였다. While a system working with SAN, such as ATM Clustering System, requires a network with low latency and wide bandwidth, the previous error recovery protocols have a serious network overhead to satisfy this requirement. The suggested error recovery protocol is a light-weight protocol which can shows its best performance at ATM Clustering System and uses a newly suggested adaptive acknowledgement scheme. In the adaptive acknowledgement scheme, the period of acknowledgement is dynamically changed depending on the state of the network. We proved the logical correctness of our protocol with SDT and did performance analysis with DEVSim++. From the analysis, we found the optimal parameter values for best performance and showed that our protocol works better than the previous error recovery protocols.

        다양한 제품요구와 짧아진 제품의 수명주기, 수시로 발생하는 주문과 품목의 변화등으로 기업은 공급체인관리(SCM)를 도입하고 있으나 빈번한 이산사건의 발생으로 계획부분과 제조현장 실행부분의 차이가 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 실행부분에서 발생하는 이산사건의 관리를 통해 계획부분과 실행부분의 차이를 줄이는 에이전트 기반 이산사건 관리모델을 제안하였다. 이산사건에 대해서는 컬러드 페트리 넷을 이용하여 명세하였고 관리모델은 에이젼트를 기반으로 지능적이고 자율적인 특성을 이용하여 사건의 발생에서 분류, 지식데이터베이스구축, 전송에 이르는 이산사건 관리모델 아키텍쳐를 제시하였다.

        LGK974 suppresses lipopolysaccharide-induced endotoxemia in mice by modulating the crosstalk between the Wnt/β-catenin and NF-κB pathways

        Endotoxemia, a type of sepsis caused by gram-negative bacterial endotoxin [i.e., lipopolysaccharide (LPS)], is associated with manifestations such as cytokine storm; failure of multiple organs, including the liver; and a high mortality rate. We investigated the effect and mechanism of action of LGK974, a Wnt signaling inhibitor, in mice with LPS-induced endotoxemia, an animal model of sepsis. LGK974 significantly and dose-dependently increased the survival rate and reduced plasma cytokine levels in mice with LPS-induced endotoxemia. Transcriptome analysis of liver tissues revealed significant changes in the expression of genes associated with the Wnt pathway as well as cytokine and NF-κB signaling during endotoxemia. LGK974 treatment suppressed the activation of NF-κB signaling and cytokine expression as well as the Wnt/β-catenin pathway in the livers of endotoxemic mice. Coimmunoprecipitation of phospho-IκB and β-transducin repeat-containing protein (β-TrCP) was increased in the livers of endotoxemic mice but was reduced by LGK974 treatment. Moreover, LGK974 treatment decreased the coimmunoprecipitation and colocalization of β-catenin and NF-κB, which were elevated in the livers of endotoxemic mice. Our results reveal crosstalk between the Wnt/β-catenin and NF-κB pathways via interactions between β-TrCP and phospho-IκB and between β-catenin and NF-κB during endotoxemia. The results of this study strongly suggest that the crosstalk between the Wnt/β-catenin and NF-κB pathways contributes to the mutual activation of these two pathways during endotoxemia, which results in amplified cytokine production, liver damage and death, and that LGK974 suppresses this vicious amplification cycle by reducing the crosstalk between these two pathways.
