      • 풍수경관요소 선정과 그의 평가에 의한 계량화 분석 - 논산군 고정리 일대 광산김씨의 김호 묘역, 김장생 묘역을 중심으로 -

        본 논문은 풍수가가 택지를 평가함에 있어서 풍수경관요소를 선정하고 이를 점수화하여 보다 객관적인 지표로 보여주는 사례를 제시하여 이를 선례로 삼고 부동산의 감정평가서와 같이 풍수의 신뢰도를 높이는데 기여하고자 한다. 그 사례로 이중환의 택리지, 박시익, 옥한석, 지종학, 박재락이 제시한 경관요소들을 용, 혈, 사, 수, 향에 입각하여 비교분석해 보았으며, 실제 사례에는 지종학과 박재락의 풍수계량화지표를 활용하였다. 두 연구자의 지표를 비교하면, 지종학은 주산의 형태와 혈 뒤까지의 용의 움직임에 많은 배점을 부여하였고 혈장에 있어서 당판이 바르고 다른 요소가 좋다면 혈은 자연스럽게 이루어지는 것으로 판단해서 혈장에 대한 자세한 언급이 없는 반면에 박재락은 사신사와 혈장을 중요시 했고 경제공간과 비보에 대한 요소도 적용했다. 앞으로도 풍수가들은 풍수경관요소를 더욱 분석하여 계량화하는데 있어서 표준을 제시할 수 있도록 더 많은 노력이 필요하다고 하겠다. This study was made to enhance the reliability of Pungsu like appraisal reports on the real estate, by suggesting the examples a precedent & by providing the examples showing more objective indexes through scoring & selecting Pungsu scenery elements in Pungsu experts’ appreciating housing sites. Into the case of it, we compared and analyzed the scenery elements suggested by Choong Hwan Lee’s Taek Ri Ji, Si Ik Park, Han Suk Ock, Jong Hak Ji, Jae Rak Park, based on Yong(Dragon), Hyeoul(Acupuncture Point), Sa(Mountain of four direction) , Su(water), Hyang(Direction), and in the actual examples, we utilized Pungsu metrical indexes by Ji Jong Hak and Jae Ryak Park. If comparing Jong Hak Ji’s Pungsu metrical Indexes with Jae Rak Park’s, Jong Hak Ji endowed many scores to the formation of the main mountain & the movement of Yong behind Hyeoul, In terms of Hyeoul Jang, if Dang Pan is right and other elements are good, he thought that Hyeoul is naturally formed, not mentioning Hyeouljang in detail. Whereas Jae Ryak Park considered Sasinsa & Hyeouljang important, at the same time, applied the elements regarding economic space & Bibo. In the future, experts of Pungsu, have to make many efforts to provide the standards in quantifying by analyzing Pungsu scenery elements in more detailed manner.

      • 고등학교 학생들의 뇌 선호도에 따른 영어 어휘 학습 전략의 상관관계에 대한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between brainpreference and vocabulary learning strategies of 137 Korean high school students who are the first graders in vocational and academic high school. Two sets of survey questionnaires were used for this study: A taxonomyof vocabulary learning strategies based on Park``s(2001) survey, developed by Schmitt(1997), and Right/left brain dominance test developed by Torrance(1987). The major results of this study are as follow. First, the brain dominance test suggest that most of high school students were bi-hemispheric dominance. Second, the right-hemispheric oriented students were more using social strategies in discovery strategies than others. In terms of consolidation strategies, social strategies were more used by bi-hemispheric, and quite right hemispheric dominance students. Third, the female students in all the brain types tended to use more vocabulary learning strategies than male students. In addition, vocational school students were shown to use less vocabulary learning strategies than academic school students. Fourth, the right-brian oriented students in the vocational school used a wider range of social strategies in discovery strategies. For academic school students, no favored vocabulary learning strategies were found in terms of either brian preferences or gender difference. This study suggests that teachers need to consider students vocabulary learning style and strategies based on different brain preferences, gender difference, and the type of school in order to assiststudents`` efforts to increase their vocabulary knowledge. Teachers also need to encourage their students to know various types of vocabulary learning strategies, trying to develop effective vocabulary learning strategies.

        Lab-based Simulation of Carton Clamp Truck Handling - Preliminary FEA and Analysis of Handling Test Courses

        Carton clamp truck is widely perceived as the high-efficient handling equipment of factory premises and warehouse by its capability of palletless handling. Therefore, the significance of a lab-based handling simulation is becoming higher with the growth of clamp truck usage. In this study, preliminary FEA and design of handling test courses for the lab-based simulation of carton clamp truck handling were performed, and the PSD analyses were performed for the modified one for the test course proposed by Park et al. (2017) as well as ASTM D 6055 and ISTA 3B standards. For the vibration in all directions, the vibration energy intensity analyzed by ISTA 3B standard showed higher than that by the other two cases. A FEA was performed for the handling operation of the sudden stop of the clamps after lifting the target HCP (heavyweight refrigerator corrugated package, w=180 kgf) up to the specified height. The slip distance between the clamp arm and the target HCP was 0.85 mm. The simulation result of 0.85 mm was 3.7 times lower than the experimental result (3.2 mm) obtained by Park et al. (2017), and it was estimated that the deviation comes from both the experimental error by weight imbalance of target HCP, and excessive simplification during the FE modelling of target HCP.

      • Development of PSD Profile and Standard Test Course for Lab-Based Simulation of Carton Clamp Truck Handling

        Palletless handling by clamp truck is gradually expanding, and the need for simulation of clamp truck handling is increasing. In this study, the composite PSD profiles for a test course proposed by Park et al.(2017) and the test courses of ASTM D6055 and ISTA 3B for a lab-based simulation of clamp truck were developed, and the effects of the payload, the traveling speed, and the tire type on the vibration level of the main body and the attachment of clamp truck were analyzed. A heavy refrigerator package, where clamp trucks are mostly used for, was selected as the target heavyweight corrugated package (HCP). Both the vibration intensity of the main body and the attachment of the clamp truck were affected by payload and traveling speed. However, the difference in vibration level according to the tire type was apparent in the test course with many obstacles. The vibration intensity of a test course proposed by Park et al.(2017) was greater than that of ASTM D6055 and significantly lower than that of ISTA 3B.

        다양한 비죽상경화 관상동맥 질환의 CT 영상 소견

        급성 관동맥 증후군(acute coronary syndrome)은 대부분 죽상경화 관상동맥 질환(atherosclerotic coronary artery disease)에 의해 발생하지만, 비죽상경화 관상동맥 질환에서도 발생할 수 있다. 고식적 관상동맥 혈관조영술은 동맥 내강의 협착이나 확장 등의 형상에 대한정보만을 제공하고, 동맥경화반이나 동맥벽에 대한 평가가 어려워 관상동맥 이상의 원인 질환의 진단에 낮은 특이도를 보인다. 반면, 관상동맥 전산화단층촬영 혈관조영술은 혈관경화반의 특징, 혈관벽의 조영증강뿐 아니라 연접한 대동맥이나 폐동맥의 변화 등도 함께 관찰할수 있어, 비죽상경화 관상상동맥질환의 진단 및 다양한 원인 감별에 도움이 된다. 따라서 이종설에서는 다양한 비죽상경화 관상동맥 질환들을 소개하고, 이의 병태생리 및 대표적인 관상동맥 전산화단층촬영 혈관조영술의 영상 소견에 대해 설명하고자 한다.

      • Hydrological severity assessment of extreme climate conditions

        <P>The management of water resources is challenging under extreme climate conditions with the acceleration of climate change. Many existing indices for analysing extreme climate conditions focus on the statistical behaviour of a single hydrological variable, such as precipitation or temperature. Such indices have limitations in providing a comprehensive interpretations of elaborate extreme climate conditions. In this study, the hydrological severity index (HSI), which is defined as the ratio of precipitation to the sum of evapotranspiration, runoff, and terrestrial water storage from the water balance equation, was proposed and calculated using Global Land Data Assimilation System datasets for 1980–2010. Mean HSI was relatively high in tropical regions due to the high sensitivity of precipitation, while it was relatively low in semi‐arid and arid regions due to low precipitation and high evaporative demand. HSI showed a good representation of hydrological severity based on the spatial pattern of the absolute correlation coefficient as well as the opposite pattern of the coefficient of variation calculated from HSI and the radiative index of dryness. Based on the aforementioned phenomenon, temporal anomaly HSI (HSI<SUB>anom</SUB>) was applied to Pakistan and Australia as case studies to analyse the 2010 Pakistan Flooding and the Australian Millennium Drought (especially in 2002 and 2006). The HSI<SUB>anom</SUB> was able to capture the severity of extreme climate events and to provide underlying causes accompanying the physical climate forcing system. Specifically, the spatial pattern of HSI<SUB>anom</SUB> was useful for analysing regions with high severity to extreme climate conditions. The HSI can be used to establish water management policies that consider regional hydrological features in order to cope with intensified climate change. In addition, stand‐alone HSI could be used to predict future climate trends based on precise simulations of hydrological variables.</P>

        Analysis of Wireless Power Transfer Characteristics for Multiple Receivers by Time Sharing Technique

        A multiple charging method for a wireless power transfer system (WPTS) in the near-field region is proposed. We analyzed the frequency characteristics of multiple receivers in the near-field region. The results suggested that the time division WPTS can achieve efficient and equal power transmission at multiple receivers. We conclude that this system has an advantage for charging multiple receivers.

      • Integrated Kidney Exosome Analysis for the Detection of Kidney Transplant Rejection

        <P>Kidney transplant patients require life-long surveillance to detect allograft rejection. Repeated biopsy, albeit the clinical gold standard, is an invasive procedure with the risk of complications and comparatively high cost. Conversely, serum creatinine or urinary proteins are noninvasive alternatives but are late markers with low specificity. We report a urine-based platform to detect kidney transplant rejection. Termed iKEA (integrated kidney exosome analysis), the approach detects extracellular vesicles (EVs) released by immune cells into urine; we reasoned that T cells, attacking kidney allografts, would shed EVs, which in turn can be used as a surrogate marker for inflammation. We optimized iKEA to detect T-cell-derived EVs and implemented a portable sensing system. When applied to clinical urine samples, iKEA revealed high level of CD3-positive EVs in kidney rejection patients and achieved high detection accuracy (91.1%).         Auto-dump Design of Postharvest Bulk Handling Machinery System for Onions

        Purpose: Postharvest handling of onions (harvesting, cleaning, grading, cooling, storing, and transport) should be performed continually to reduce costs and improve quality. The purpose of this study is to a) determine the design parameters and operating conditions of anion auto-dumping that constitutes a key component of the postharvest bulk handling machinery system, and b) to perform a performance test with the auto-dump prototype system. Methods: Kinematic analyses and computer simulations of the auto-dump mechanism were applied to analyze the operating conditions and design parameters. Results: The optimum working condition for the auto-dump was determined from kinetic analyses. In addition, the interaction between the velocity of the hydraulic cylinder and the angular velocity of the auto-dump were analyzed in order to control the bulk handling machinery system. The acting forces and optimum operating conditions of the hydraulic cylinder were determined by analyzing the forces related to the mass of inertia of the auto-dump assembly during rotation. The method of controlling the feeding rate of onions in terms of the uniformity of the stacking pattern and the control of the entire system was better than the two-stage method of controlling the rotational speed of the auto-dump.         Omission of chemotherapy for hormone receptor-positive and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative breast cancer: patterns of treatment and outcomes from the Korean Breast Cancer Society Registry

        Purpose: Although adjuvant chemotherapy (CTx) is still recommended for high-risk patients with hormone receptorpositive and human epidermal receptor (HER)-2-negative breast cancer, recent studies found that selected patients with low disease burden may be spared from CTx and receive hormonal treatment (HT) alone. This study aims to evaluate the trends of treatment (CTx + HT vs. HT alone) in Korea and to assess the impact on overall survival (OS) according to treatment pattern. Methods: The Korean Breast Cancer Society Registry was queried (2000 to 2018) for women with pT1-2N0-1 hormone receptor-positive and HER2-negative disease who underwent surgery and adjuvant systemic treatment (CTx and HT). Clinicopathologic factors, change in pattern of treatment over time, and OS for each treatment option were analyzed. Results: A total of 40,938 women were included in the study; 20,880 (51.0%) received CTx + HT, while 20,058 (49.0%) received HT only. In recent years, there has been a steady increase in the use of HT alone, from 21.0% (2000) to 64.6% (2018). In Cox regression analysis, age, type of breast and axillary operations, T and N stages, body mass index, histologic grade, and presence of lymphovascular invasion were prognostic indicators for OS. There was no significant difference between CTx + HT and HT alone in terms of OS (P = 0.126). Conclusion: Over the years, there has been a shift from CTx + HT to HT alone without a significant difference in OS. Therefore, HT alone could be a safe treatment option in selected patients, even those with T2N1 disease.
