        Caffeine이 지구성 운동 수행능력에 미치는 영향과 억제성 아미노산에 의하여 활성화되는 이온통로의 조절작용

        To investigate the effect and mechanism of caffeine on endurance exercise, two experiments were performed. First, to test caffeine effect on aerobic exercise, 200-300g Sprague-Dawley rats were used and three groups, control group, low caffeine injection group and high caffeine injection group, were divided. Blood smpling by heart puncture were done at rest, after 30 min treadmill exercise, and after maximal exercise. Blood glucose, free fatty acid concentration were detected and following results were obtained. Glucose concentration showed significant difference between groups(p=0.0305) and also significant changes were exhibited between time(p=0.0004). Free fatty acid concentration had no difference between groups. but had significance between times(p=0.00065). Exercise endurance performance time showed significant difference(p=0.02350 in high caffeine injection group compared to control group. In this experiments, endurance exercise capacity was increased by caffeine injection. Therefore, second experiment was performed to investigate the effect of caffeine on ion current induced inhibitory amino acid neurotransmitter. GABA and glycine. Single periaqueductal gray neuron was acutely dissociated and nystatin perforated patch clamp was performed under voltage clamping condition. Caffeine evoked outward current in PAG neuron dose dependent manner. 1mM of caffeine application had no response. but 3mM caffeine evoked about 32.5±8.539pA outward ion current and 10mM caffeine evoked about 215.46±19.4pA outward current. 10^-2mM GABA activated Cl ̄current and recorded by inward current. Caffeine inhibited GABA activated Cl ̄ current concentration dependent manner. 10^-2mM of caffeine had no effect on 1-^-2mM of GABA response. but 10^-1mM caffeine inhibited GABA activated Cl ̄ current about 5.74±2.13%, 1mM caffeine inhibited about 17.25±2.70%, 10mM caffeine inhibited GABA response about 45.31±7.71%. 10^-1mM of glycine activated Cl ̄ current and also recorded by inward current. Caffeine inhibited glycine activated Cl ̄ current concentration dependent manner. 10^-2mM caffeine decreased glycine activated Cl ̄ current about 4.61±1.650%, 10^-1mM caffeine decreased about 6.49±2.24%, 1mM caffeine decreased about 26.82±4.27%, and 10mM caffeine decreased glycine response about 94.47±1.39%. These results suggest that caffeine inhibite inhibitory amino acid, GABA and glycine, this response causes excitation of CNS and this seems to be the basic mechanism of increasing effect to aerobic exercise performance by caffeine.

      • 흰쥐 뇌에서 Tyrosine Hydroxylase분비세포의 출현시기 및 분포에 관한 면역조직화학적 연구

        The immunohistochemical (ABC method) studies on the ontogeny and localization of the catecholamine-synthesizing enzyme tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) were examined in rat brain from the 12th fetal day until the 9th postnatal day. The results obtained were as follows : 1. Tyrosine hydroxylase was first detected immunohistochemically at embryonic day 13(E13). At this stage, the TH-containing neurons were still migrating and cytologically immature. 2. The changes occuring from the early to the late prenatal stages of development appeared to be the result of an increase in the number and size of the TH-containing cells and in the length of nerve fibers. 3. The distribution of the TH-containing neurons at embryonic day 19(E19) more closely resembled catecholaminergic neurons in the adult rat brain : 1) a rhombencephalic group became the A1-7 ; 2) a ventral mesencephalic group became A8-10 ; 3) a ventral prosencephalic group and a few neurons ventral to the striatum became A11-14 ; and 4) the cells of the olfactory bulb corresponded to the A15. 4. The cytodifferentiation of the TH-immunoreactive neurons was accompanied by continued migration to form the collective catecholaminergic groups during ontogenesis. In addition, the morphology of the TH-immunoreactive neurons in the late prenatal stage resembled in the adult rat brain.

      • 흰쥐 이자 Insulin과 Neuropeptide Y 분비세포의 발생에 관한 면역조직화학적 연구

        Cells immunoreactive to insulin(INS-IR) and neuropeptide Y(NPY-IR) were found in prenatal(E15, 17, 19) and postnatal(P0, 5, 10, 15, 30, adult) rat pancreas using immunohistochemistry. Pancreatic INS-IR and NPY-IR were detected by day E17. They were found initially in the interlobular pancreatic duct, intralobular pancreatic duct and pancreatic islet gradually. Especially, INS-IR was detected in the dorsal pancreatic bud by day E19. The INS-IR and NPY-IR patterns were nearly similiar to each other, and many cells revealed colocalization of INS and NPY until day P10. But there was a change between them by the day P15 ; central INS-IR cells and peripheral NPY-IR in the pancreatic islet. The number of pancreatic islets per square millimeter of pancreatic tissue were decreased, and the number of immunoreactive endocrine cells per islet was increased according to development. These results suggest NPY may play a role in the development of the pancreatic endocrine cells.

        The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between life style and orientation for sports in university students. specifically, the main purpose of this study was to analyze the difference of life style and orientation for sports according to the gender, major and non-major physical education, and a study for the influence of life style on the orientation for sports in university students of sports participation. Subjects of this study were 476 male and 463 female for the total of 939 university students in the city of Pusan. The date were collected from a self-administrated questionnaires. A questionnaire contents of life style was composed of 10 items and a questionnaire contents of orientation for sports was compose of 3 items. The reliability of the Likert Scale was confirmed by testing Cronbach Alpha. The data were analyzed though correlation analysis, one-way ANOVA, and enter multiple regression analysis. The findings of this study are as follows; 1. Gender was significant difference in Life style and orientation for sports. 1) Life style by gender was significant difference in self-confidence, sports, health control, fashion, feeble-minded, brand enjoy. 2) Orientation for sports by gender was significant difference in communication orientation. 2. Physical education major was significant difference in Life style and orientation for sports. 1) Life style by physical education major was significant difference in fashion, self-confidence, sports, brand enjoy, health control. 2) Orientation for sports by physical education major was significant difference in communication orientation and victory orientation. 3. Life style affects on of orientation for sports. 1) Health control, sports, brand enjoy, self-control, Fashion affects on leisure orientation. 2) sports, self-confidence, brand enjoy, Fashion, affirmation, self-control affects on communication orientation. 3) accomplishment, sports, self-confidence, Health control affects on victory orientation.

      • 최근 우리나라 양돈산업의 구조분석

        This research was undertaken in order to obtain the basic data for systematical pig management through of pig analysis of current status of raising pigs, wholesale price, the appearance ratio of carcass grade, consumption of pork, the number of pigs imported and exported during about 10 years in Korea. These data were collected and analysed from recent secondary raw data. The results obtained were abstracted as follows; 1. The number of raising pigs have tendency to increase gradually with about 8,371,000 pigs, while the number of farm household have tendency gradually to decrease with 24,000 household on September, 2000. Accordingly, the farm sizes are changing with large scale of average of 349 pigs. 2. The farm price of alive pig at 100㎏ was high level with 199,000won in 1999. The carcass price per 1㎏ was the average of 2,982won in 1999. The pork was consumed much more in summer season. 3. The total of meat consumption per capita have been increasing with 30.54㎏ in 1999. Out of total meat, pig meat was 53%. 4. The live pigs imported had been increased gradually up to 1997, however, decreased with 410 heads in 1998. The pigs imported have been mainly utilized as effective breeding animals. 5. The pork imported has been showing rapid increment since 1997. Otherwise, the pork has been gradually decreased with 55,684ton in 1998.

      • 別墅에 關한 硏究(Ⅰ) : 文獻分析을 통한 別墅槪念 및 意味에 關해서 The concept and meaning of Byeol-Soe by research of historical literatures

        The Korean traditional gardens reveals the characteristics of harmony with nature. Especially, Byeol-Soe(別墅) Style is a typical garden style in oriental gardens. This style is developed in Koryo Dynasty (935∼1392) and then flourished in Choson Dynaty (1392∼1910). In the developemtn of byeol-Soe it may be divided into two aspects, the one is natural environmental elements and the other is socio-political elements. These elements might be created a typical style with interrelation. Confucian ideas, Taoism dieas, Retirement ideas, filial piety, assimilation of nature,… is basic ideas of this style. Revealed characteristics by reseach and analysis of historical literatures are; 1. A Structure and its site may be strongly related by the architectural treatment of site areas or elements, therefore each Byeol-Soe draws from its site a native power and returns to the site this power magnified. 2. Social standing of Byeol-Soe operationer is various from brothers of king to nobleman (Yang-ban) without occupations. 3. Traditional Korean's nobilities like writing and reciting a poems, discussing literature and philosophy ets. These behavioral aspects accord with Byoel-Soe style very well. 4. Behavioral investigations to the historical literatures will be helpful future survey of a place Byeol-Soe relics. Byeol-soe Contains various behaviors, that is strolling, reading, meditations, relaxation, boating and fishing, writing and reciting a poem, drinking, give a banquet with foreign mission requester and visitors, take care of parents tomb, etc. 5. Generally sites were selected on hills with very good landscape, view for example panoramic view, a far-of green mountains, white the sands and birds, bright moon, blue sky and white cloud, strolling river, steep cliff with outcrop of rock, and so forth. 6. Byeol-Soe may be divided into three characters. Live with nature, for a remnant life filial piety such as a take care of parents tomb, western villa styles are those.

      • 한국 재래산양(Capra hircus)의 주요 혈구 단백질 좌위의 유전적 다형현상

        This study was carried out to investigate genetic polymorphisms of red cell loci, X-protein(Xp) and Haemoglobin(Hb), by using polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis in Korean Native Goats. Blood samples were collected and examined from a total of 79 animals raised in Chungnam province. Thedistribution of genotype and gene frequencies were estimated at these loci. The results obtained were as follows; 1. The observed distribution of phenotypes was 93.67% for X2 and 6.33% for X0 in the Xp locus, and gene frequencies of ?? and ?? were 0.748 and0.252 respestively. 2. The observed distribution of genotypes in the Hb locus was 93.4% for AA homotype and 7.6% for AB heterotype, while the BB homotype was not found in the present study. The gene frequencies for ?? and ?? were 0.962 and 0.038, respectively.

        B형 간염예방에 대한 교육매체의 효과 : 중·고등학생을 대상으로

        Purpose: Our research team developed two types of hepatitis B prevention materials: video tape and leaflet. We showed them to two groups of subjects separately, and the effect of education was compared to find out a more effective educational material for preventing hepatitis B. Method: Students at a middle school and a high school, one class for each school year, participated in the five areas of this study. They were educated for hepatitis management using the video tape and the leaflet. Before and after the education, they were tested for knowledge on hepatitis and health belief to analyze the effect of education. Results: 1) The video tape was more effective than the leaflet in delivering hepatitis knowledge and enhancing sensitivity & severity in health belief. 2) Hepatitis knowledge was improved significantly after the education. 3) Sensitivity & severity in health belief was improved significantly after the education. 4) Benefit in health belief was improved significantly after the education 5) Barrier in health belief decreased significantly after the education. 6) There was a correlation between hepatitis knowledge, sensitivity & severity in health belief and benefit in health belief. Conclusion: We suggest that for preventing hepatitis B it would be helpful to educate students in middle school and high school face to face with educational materials.

      • Nanoparticles (TiO₂)이 분산된 MEH-PPV 박막의 전기발광특성연구

        In organic light-emitting diodes, polymer/nanoparticles composites have been increasingly studies because of their enhanced optical and electronic properties. The effects of nanoparticles on the performance of electrooptic polymer devices was not understood completely. In this study, polymer /TiO2(rutile) nanoparticles composite films were made by dispersing the nanoparticles in the MEH-PPV solution, where the poly dispersed particle size was ranging from 5nm to 23nm. The PL and EL characteristics of their thin films were investigated by fabricating the device having a structure of ITO/nanoparticle dispersed MEH-PPV/Al or ITO/nanoparticle dispersed MEH-PPV/Alq₃/Al, where Alq₃ films were used as an electron transport materials.

        AC powder electroluminescence(EL) device consists of seven layers : PET substrate, transparent electrode, phosphor layer, dielectric layer, two layer metal electrodes and protective layer. Etch layer needs to control to improve electrical and optical properties. Both phosphor and dielectric layer among them is more important to increase its properties. For long-time reliability, proper choices of passivation and sealing material are essential. In this paper, influence of phosphor and dielectric layer thickness on EL performance is studied. Type of cellulos is selected as a sealing material to avoid moisture. To add two type of plasticizer to resin improves flexibility and passivation of EL devices. Through this experiments, technologies of fabrication low-cost thick film EL device can be established.
