        다체사영방법에 의한 자기 광 전이의 이론

        Magneto-optical transition lineshape function is derived by using the many body projection technique. The function is shown to be quite different from the one obtained previously on the basis of the single electron formalism.

      • Multiple Binding Motifs of RISBZ1, Seed Specific Transcription Factor

        The surveying of binding affinity between a particular transcription factor and DNA motifs is important in order to understand the developmental specific gene expression and regulatory networks of an organism. The microarray-based technologies (protein-binding microarrays; PBMs) provide useful predictions for understanding the transcriptional regulatory code in a genome-wide manner. The PBM was designed in such a way that target probes were synthesized as quadruples of all possible 9-mer combinations, named Q9-UPBM. Also, we developed rice promoter PBM (RPBM) using 19,480 rice promoter sequences containing 40 bp long probe with overlapping 20 bp (cover 1kb from 5’ upstream). We applied RISBZ1 protein, an endosperm specific basic leucine zipper transcription factor, to compare binding site specificities between Q9-UPBM and RPBM and find directly regulated promoter regions through the RPBM. Several cis-elements; Prolamin box (TGTAAAG), GCN4 motif (TGA(G/C)TCA), AACA motif (AACAAAA), and ACGT motif, are highly conserved in the promoters of cereal seed storage protein genes, and play a central role in controlling endosperm specific expression during seed maturation. Characterization of cis-elements and TFs has been performed on many storage protein genes of several crop plants, but the mechanisms are still poorly understood. Two chips provide RISBZ1 could bind to ACGT motif such as a CCACGTCA site and GGATGAC site as well as GCN4 motif known binding site. In RPBM binding affinity to CCACGTCA was highly significant, compared to GGATGAC site. The difference might be caused by the biased presence of specific promoter rather than Q9-UPBM. Also our results will provide direct insight into the importance of combinatorial interplay between cis-elements in regulating the expression of seed storage protein genes.

        Scattering Factor Functions of Qusi Two Dimensional Qantum Transition Systems Based on the Projected Liouville Equation

        We apply the quantum transport theory (QTR) to system in the confinement of electrons by a square well confinement potential. We use the projected Liouville equation method with the equilibrium average projection scheme (EAPS). We select the current system under a linearly oscillatory external field. We derive the response formulas and the scattering factor formulas in four interacting systems of two transition types, the intraband transitions and interband transitions. With the compact procedure and the compact representations, we obtain results for scattering factor formulas in the Landau splitting system that can be applied directly to numerical analyses.

        <P> Based on quantum transport theory, we analysis the temperature dependence of optical quantum transition line shapes (QTLS) of GaAs and CdS in some temperatures, through the numerical analysis of theoretical result. We study the thermal properties of electron-piezoelectric phonon interacting system in the confinement of electrons by square well confinement potential. In order to analysis the quantum transition process, we compare the temperature dependence of the QTLW and the QTLS of two transition process, which are the phonon emission transition process and the phonon absorption transition process. We use the theory of the projected Liouville equation method with Equilibrium Average Projection Scheme (EAPS).</P>

        Magnetic dependence of cyclotron resonance in the electron-piezoelectric phonon interacting materials

        Based on quantum transport theory, we investigated theoretically the magnetic field dependence of the quantum optical transition of quasi 2-dimensional Landau splitting system, in CdS and ZnO Through the analysis of the current work, we found the increasing properties of the cyclotron resonance line-profiles (CRLPs) which show the absorption power and the cyclotron resonance line-widths (CRLWs) with the magnetic field in CdS and ZnO We also found that that CRLWs, γ<sub>total</sub>(B) of CdS < γ<sub>total</sub>(B) of ZnO in the magnetic field region B < 15 Tesla.

        삼차원 相關的 醉步過程에 관한 理論을 소개하고, 그것에 바탕을 두고 記憶의 효과를 고려하지 않은 조건하에서 Fokker-Planck類의 방정식을 얻었다. 또 本 모델을 일차원 아이징系에 적용하여 이론의 타당성을 조사해 보았다. The theory of two-dimensional correlated walk processes is generalized into the one of three-dimensional walk processes. The kinetic equations are obtained without taking into account any memory effects. One-dimensional Ising model is discussed on the basis of this model. It is also demonstrated that the spontaneous magnetization does not appear and the zero-field magnetic susceptibility has nonzero values in the systems.

        모의 수업 실행 과정에서 나타난 초등 예비 교사의 과학 탐구 수업에 대한 인식

        For teachers` conceptions and understandings are critical to their decision making and classroom practice, this study attempts to understand pre-service elementary teachers` views and practices of science inquiry during peer teaching practice. Fifteen 4th year university students in teacher education program participated in peer teaching practice, Their teaching and reflective discussion were video and audio recorded and written lesson plans were collected for data analysis, Five science teacher educators individually looked into the data and shared their comments and interpretations on pre-service teachers`` views and practice, The study findings suggest that pre-service teachers emphasized the importance of providing students with motivating resources in the beginning of lesson, employing certain inquiry teaching models, the process of predicting and dis/proving via experiment, and teachers`` minimal intervention as the important features of inquiry teaching. Science teacher educators emphasized that it is critical to help children understand inquiry questions in the beginning of inquiry process, to be mindful of children`s problem solving and critical thinking rather than following instruction models or simply going through prediction and test process. They also commented that teachers`` guidance could lead a good inquiry process in classroom practice, not always interfering students`` inquiry. Based on the findings, the study suggests science teacher educators need to understand what and how pre-service teachers view and practice science inquiry teaching and consider these as useful resources where they can start effective teaching for pre-service teachers at the university level.

        Inverse association of improved adherence to dietary guidelines with metabolic syndrome: the Seoul Metabolic Syndrome Management program

        BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The Seoul Metabolic Syndrome Management (SMESY) program is a 1-yr lifestyle modification program targeting metabolic syndrome (MetS) in Seoul residents. This study investigated the associations between adherence to dietary guidelines and MetS among the SMESY program participants. SUBJECTS/METHODS: Data of 54,385 participants aged 20-64 yrs who completed the SMESY program in 2015, had information on adherence to dietary guidelines, and were not medicated for diabetes, hypertension, or dyslipidemia were analyzed. Participants underwent MetS screening and completed a lifestyle questionnaire including adherence to 10 dietary guidelines before and after participation. Participants were classified according to the number of MetS risk factors at baseline (MetS group, ≥ 3; risk group, 1-2; healthy group, none). Adherence to dietary guidelines was determined from the number of “yes” responses regarding the fulfillment of each guideline on ≥ 5 days/week. Multiple logistic regression was used to evaluate associations between newly diagnosed MetS and changes in adherence to dietary guidelines. RESULTS: In the MetS group, MetS prevalence decreased after the SMESY program (men, -41.9%p; women, -48.7%p), and all risk factors were significantly improved (P < 0.0001). All groups exhibited improved adherence to all dietary guidelines after participation (P < 0.0001). In the MetS group with positively changed adherence scores, the MetS prevalence decreased by -44.1%p for men and -49.5%p for women, whereas the prevalence in those with negative changes decreased by -38.1%p for men and -48.6%p for women. In the risk group, those with positively changed adherence scores had significantly decreased odds ratios (ORs) for newly diagnosed MetS compared with those with negative changes (OR, 0.70; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.61-0.80 for men; OR, 0.88; 95% CI, 0.79-0.99 for women). CONCLUSIONS: The SMESY program may effectively reduce the risk of MetS among adults with risk factors by improving adherence to dietary guidelines.
