        슬관절 내측부 인대 손상의 보존적 치료

        Purpose : The medial collateral ligament injury is the most common injury of the knee. Recently Non-operative treatment has been preferred than operative treatment and most of patients have satisfactory clinical results after non-operative treatment. But a few patients have continuous instability after non-operative treatment, so the purpose of this study is to fine out the cause of persistent symptom. Methods and Materlals : We performed a retrospective study of one hundred thirty seven patients with medial collateral ligament injury treated non-operative from January 1990 to December 1997. W divided patients into two groups: isolated medial collateral ligament injury (groupⅠ): medial collateral ligament injury with concomitant anterior cruciate ligament injury (groupⅡ) and we analysed MRI finding, valgus instability, and Lysholm knee score. Result : At the follow up, three of group Ⅰ, five of group Ⅱ had persistent grade Ⅲ valgus instability. In group Ⅰ, we could find two case of rupture of the proper of medial collateral ligament with inward inversion and one case of concomitant posteromedial compartment injury. We could find the proper rupture of medial collateral ligament with inversion inward in two patients, the injury of posteromedial compartment in one patient. Two patients of group Ⅱ with grade Ⅲ valgus instability had anterior instability with laxity of grafted tendon after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Conclusion : Most of isolated injury of the medial collateral ligament heals wthout operative intervention. But in case of rupture of the proper portion of medial collateral ligament with inversion inward or concomitant injury of posteromedial compartment, we should consider the operative treatment of medial collateral ligament. In case of medial collateral ligament injury with anterior cruciate ligament, it would better to consider the delicate reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament.

        개심술후 정신의학적 합병증

        Pre-and post operative psychiatric evaluations were done using semi-structured interview with Hamilton scales for anxiety and depression in 57 open heart surgery receipients to assess post-operative psychiatric complications. Conspicuous post-operative psychiatric complications were observed in 16 (23%) of 57 patients after open heart surgery. Postcardiotomy delirium occurred in seven patients; acute psychotic reaction with paranoid ideation in one; and neurotic reaction in eight. Factors that tended to influence postoperative psychiatric complications were older age, unempolyment, previous medical/psychiatric history, and high level of preoperative anxiety. By analysis of the preoperative psychiatric evaluation, patients could be largely divided in 3 groups; anxiety group, denial group, and adjusted group. Excessive anxiety and massive denial seemed to be signficant in the postoperative psychiatric compliactions. With these findings, the author's impression was that the consultation psychiatrist should give comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and psychiatric preparation in pre-and post-open heart surgery for the possible prevention of postopertive psychiatric complications.

      • 배추 시스테인 단백질 분해 효소 억제 유전자 BCPI-1의 발현과 종자 발아 및 유묘 생장과의 연관성

        Phytocystatins are protein inhibitors of cysteine proteinases of the papain family that have been identified in both monocot and dicot plants. A cDNA encoding a phytocystatin, BCPI-1 (Brassica Cysteine Proteinase Inhibitor-1) has been isolated from Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris L. ssp. pekinensis) flower buds. Here, we tested whether BCPI-1 transcription is regulated by hormones, and could be involved in regulating cysteine proteinases during and after germination. BCPI-1 was sensitive to exogenous GA_(3) and ABA, which are important factors controlling seed germination, suggesting that the expression of BCPI-1 is hormonally regulated. We introduced a recombinant plasmid containing the full-length BCPI-1 cDNA under the control of cauliflower mosaic virus 35S promoter into rice embryogenic calli using the particle delivery method, and regenerated a number of transgenic rice plants. Constitutively over-expressed BCPI-1 caused changes in overall plant growth and development, including reduced germination and seedling growth. These data support the role of the BCPI-1 in the regulation of endogenous proteinases during both seed germination and subsequent seedling development. Phylocystatins은 papain계열의 cysteine 단백질 분해 효소 활성을 특이적으로 억제하는 억제자로 다양한 식물 종으로부터 분리되었다. 본고에서는, 배추 화아 cDNA library로부터 분리된 phytocystatin인 BCPI-1(Brassica Cysteine Proteinase Inhibitor-1)의 생체 내 기능에 대해 연구하였다. 먼저, BCPI-1 전사체는 발아 조절에 중요한 영향을 미치는 GA₃와 ABA에 의해 예민하게 증가, 혹은 감소되는 반응을 보임으로써, BCPI-1이 식물 호르몬의 영향을 받으며, 특히 발아나 유묘의 생장 조절에 관련이 있음을 알 수 있었다. Particle bombardment 방법을 통하여 BCPI-1을 벼의 배 형성 세포 내에 도입, 재분화 시켜 형질 전환 벼를 생성하였다. CaMV 35S promoter의 조절에 의해 지속적인 BCPI-1 발현을 보이는 형질 전환 벼의 경우, 발아와 유묘 생장이 현저히 지연되었다. 위의 결과들을 바탕으로, BCPI-1이 식물체 내에서 생성되는 cysteine 계열의 단밸질 분해 효소 활성을 조절하여 종자의 발아와 유묘의 생장에 영향을 미치는 것으로 추측한다.

      • 졸 겔법을 통한 SiC 분말 및 whisker의 알루미나피복

        SiC-Particles and SiC-Whiskers were coated by Alumina-Sol to improve homogeneous distribution of the second phase in Alumina-Matrix and densification during sintering the SiC-Alumina composite. Alumina-Sol was prepared from Al-sec-Butoxide. It was hydrolyzed in non-aquous solution(Isopropanol) then polymericsol was fabricated. The weight ratio of SiC and Alumina was 8 : 2. The fequency of the powder distribution of the uncoated SiC-particles and the coated SiC-particles shifted about 0.4㎛. By the BET method, the specific area of SiC powder increased very critically by the Alumina-Sol coating. The Alumina coated powder was heated at 1350℃ and analyzed by XRD. Alumina and SiC reacted products were observed.

      • 인터넷 트래픽 모니터링을 통한 네트워크 관리 시스템 모델링과 시뮬레이션

        본 논문에서는 네트워크 관리 시스템(NMS)을 제안하고 구현하였다. NMS에서 네트워크 트래픽 장애를 MRTG을 사용해서 측정하였고 링크간 특성을 평가하였다. 또한 발생 가능한 네트워크 문제를 확인하였으며 네트워크 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 이러한 작업은 네트워크의 분석과 성능을 향상시키는데 사용될 수 있다. In this paper, Network Management System(NMS) is proposed and implemented. In the NMS, network traffic load is measured using MRTG and link-to-link characteristics are evaluated. Also, the possible causes of occurring network problems are identified and the network simulations are performed. This can be used to analyze and/or enhance the performances of the network.

      • 항공기용 가스터어빈 엔진의 재료선정을 위한 DATA BASE 개발

        본 논문의 목적은 항공기용 가스터어빈 엔진의 재료선정을 위한 데이타 베이스를 구축하는 것이다. 한 엔진설계자가 어떤 엔진요소에 사용 할 재료를 선택한다는 것은 매우 어려운 작업이다. 따라서 수 많은 재료에 대한 정보를 관리 할 수 있는 데이타 베이스가 절실히 요구되고 있으나, 국내에서는 아직 이 방면의 기초연구가 이루어져 있지 않은 실정이다. 온도, 압력, 회전수등 각 부분에서의 작동조건은 다른분야에 의해 제공될 것이다. 본 연구에서는 재료공학적 관점에서 재료의 대표적성질로서 고온강도, 내식성, 내산화성, 항복강도, 열팽창계수, 융점등을 고려해서 후보재료를 선정할 수 있도록 하였다. 이외에도 성형성이나 제조단가등도 고려해야할 변수가 된다. 본연구의 결과 사용자의 편의를 고려한 전산프로그램이 개발되었으며, 이를 이용하여 새로운 재료정보의 입력, 요구 재료선정 및 선정결과의 출력등이 가능하다. 끝으로, 선정된재료에 대한 재료공학적 검토도 실시하였다. The purpose of this study is to develop a data base for material selection of gas turbine engines. Since it is very diffcult task for a design engineer to select materials of adequate properties for specific engine components, a good data base is strongly desired to manage informations on various kinds of materials. However, no basic research is reported in this area so far in our country. The operating conditions such as temperature, pressure, rpm of spools are assumed to be provided by other mechanical studies. Creep rupture strength, corrosion resistance, yield strength, thermal expansion, melting point, etc., are considered as typical properties in this study to search a group of candidate materials. Formability, manufacturing or purchase cost can also be important variables to be considered. As a result of this study, a user-fiendly computer program has been developed for input of new material information, interactive material selection, and output of selection results. Finally, discussion is presented from the viewpoint of materials engineering.

        In this paper, web-based remote monitoring for Al cold-rolling system is developed and the analysis of spatial control system is performed. The remote monitoring system is used to capture the status of cold-rolling system regardless of time and locations. We analyze spatial control algorithm of the system with the collected data. The usefulness of spatial control system is shown by simulation studies.

      • CAN 시스템을 위한 트래픽 분석/생성 시스템 설계및 구현

        CAN은 매우 높은 보안수준의 실시간 분산제어를 효과적으로 지원하는 직렬통신 프로토콜이다. 본 논문에서는 CAN 시스템의 트래픽 디코더 및 제너레이터가 제안되고 구현되었다. 이러한 작업은 네트워크 성능 분석에 사용되어 질수 있으며, 또한 네트워크의 관리와 감독에 사용되어질 수 있다. CAN is a serial communications protocol which efficiently supports distributed realtime control with a very high level of security. In this paper, a traffic decoder/generator for CAN systems is proposed and implemented. This can be used to analyze the performance of the network. It can also be used to manage and monitor the network.

        Pseudomonas sp. EL-G527에 의한 환경친화성 생물계면활성제의 생산최적조건

        A biosurfactant-producing microorganism was isolated from activated sludge by enrichment culture when grown on a minimal salt medium containing n-hexadecane as a sole carbon source. This microorganism was identified as Pseudomonas sp. and it was named Pseudomonas sp. EL-G527. It's optimal culture condition is 2% n-hexadecane, 0.2% NH_4NO_3, 0.3% KH_2PO_4, 0.3% K_2HPO_4, 0.02% MgSO_4·7H_2O, 0.0025% CaCl_2·6H_2O, 0.0015% FeSO_4·7H_2O in 1ℓ distilled water and initial pH 7.0. Cultivation was initiated with a 2% inoculum obtained from starter cultures grown in 30 ㎖ of the same medium in 250 ㎖ flask. They were cultivated at 30 ℃ in reciprocal shaking incubator and the highest biosurfactant production was observed after 4 days.
