Development of a Combustion Phase Indicator for Real-Time Combustion Control in CRDI Diesel Engines

The location of 50% mass fraction burned (MFB50) is known as a good combustion phase indicator because of its close correlations with harmful emissions and fuel efficiency. Nevertheless, since calculation of MFB50 involves a large amount of cylinder pressure data and complex algorithm, it is difficult to be implemented in a real-time engine controller. For this reason, a new combustion phase indicator with a small number of cylinder pressure data and simple algorithm is demanded for real-time combustion control. In this study, we propose a new combustion phase indicator, called the location of 60% normalized difference pressure after peak (NDPap60). The NDPap60 indicates the crank angle position where the normalized difference pressure reaches 60% of the maximum value after peak. The proposed indicator reveals a linear correlation with MFB50 at various engine operating conditions such as main injection timing, injected fuel quantity, fuel-rail pressure and EGR rate changes. Furthermore, the NDPap60 requires about 55% measurement data of cylinder pressure and 18% calculation steps in comparison with the MFB50. Consequently, the NDPap60 demonstrates great potential for applying to a real-time engine controller.
Speaker selection and tracking in a cluttered environment with audio and visual information

<P>Presented in this paper is a data association method using audio and visual data which localizes targets in a cluttered environment and detects who is speaking to a robot. A particle filter is applied to efficiently select the optimal association between the target and the measurements. State variables are composed of target positions and speaking states. To update the speaking state, we first evaluate the incoming sound signal based on cross-correlation and then calculate a likelihood from the audio information. The visual measurement is used to find an optimal association between the target and the observed objects. The number of targets that the robot should interact with is updated from the existence probabilities and associations. Experimental data were collected beforehand and simulated on a computer to verify the performance of the proposed method applied to the speaker selection problem in a cluttered environment. The algorithm was also implemented in a robotic system to demonstrate reliable interactions between the robot and speaking targets.</P>

본 논문에서는 CMOS 0.18-μm 공정을 이용하여 1.75 GHz 대역에서 동작하는 이단으로 구성된 CMOS 전력증폭기를 설계하였다. 무선통신시스템에 적합한 전력증폭기 설계를 위하여 ADS 모의실험을 통하여 전력이득, 출력 전력, 효율을 각각 28 dB, 27 dBm, 45 %로 설계를 하였다. 실제 제작된 전력증폭기의 성능은 전력 이득, 출력 전력, 효율은 각각 22.9 dB, 24.8 dBm, 41.3 %로 특성을 나타냈으며, 변조된 LTE(Long-Term Evolution) 신호에 대하여 인접 채널 누설비(ACLR)가 ?30 dBc 이하를 만족하며, 전력 이득, 출력 전력, 효율이 각각 22.6 dB, 23.1 dBm, 35.1 %의 특성을 나타냈다. This paper presents a 2-stage CMOS power amplifier for the 1.75 GHz band using a 0.18-μm CMOS process. Using ADS simulation, a power gain of 28 dB and an efficiency of 45 % at an 1dB compression point of 27 dBm were achieved. The implemented CMOS power amplifier delivered an output power of up to 24.8 dBm with a power-added efficiency of 41.3 % and a power gain of 22.9 dB. For a 16-QAM uplink LTE signal, the PA exhibited a power gain of 22.6 dB and an average output power of 23.1 dBm with a PAE of 35.1 % while meeting an ACLR(Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio) level of ?30 dBc.
남성정장의 대량맞춤생산을 위한 MTM CAD 시스템 활용실태연구

Mass customization utilizes the new computer technologies, supply chain management, product information management, and some level of customization of the product for the individual customer. This study aimed at grasping the actual conditions of mass customization of domestic men's suit industry and the use of MTM CAD program. The MTM apparel production programs that are used by five leading men's suit manufacturers in Korea were compared. The results of the study showed that most of the manufacturers produced mass customized men's suits to supply extraordinarily large or small size suit based on the individual order The information listed on an order sheet used at shops was not necessarily corresponding to the information in the MTM CAD program that is use for production of suit ordered from the shop. The pattern data base on the MTM CAD program are constructed based on the sizing system of individual manufacturer. The most manufacturers translated the customer's body dimensions into difference between the standard pattern and the customer's needed adjustment.

최근 도시물순환 회복을 위한 저영향개발(LID) 기법 적용에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라, LID 계획·설계 및 시공, 유지관리 등에 활용할 수 있는 건축정보모델(BIM)에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 LID 기법의 계획 및 설계공정 단계에서 BIM의 적용가능성과 활용방안을 검토하고자 2D기반의 설계도서를 통해 산출된 LID 시설물의 물량과 BIM 모델링에서 산출된 LID 시설물의 물량을 자동으로 비교하는 모듈을 개발하여 2D기반 산출물량과 비교검토하였다. BIM 기반 LID 시설물량 자동 검토 모듈을 개발하기 위해서 연구대상지를 선정하고, BIM 모델링을 통해 물량산출표를 추출하였다. 추출된 물량산출표를 2D 기반의 물량산출표와 비교하기 위한 알고리듬을 작성하고, 작성된 알고리듬을 프로그램화해 산출된 물량의 비교·검토를 실시하였다. 대상지에 적용된 LID 시설물의 모델링을 완료하고, LID 시설물량 자동검토 모듈을 이용해 2D 기반 설계도서의 물량산출표와 BIM기반 물량산출표의 비교 검토를 실시하여, 좀 더 정확한 물량산출을 진행하였다. 또한 산출된 결과 중 재료의 물량 오차율이 ±30%를 벗어나는 시설물들의 오차발생 원인을 분석하여 LID 시설물량 자동검토 모듈의 정확도를 검토하였다. LID 시설물량 자동검토 모듈을 통해, 설계도서를 기반으로 한 물량 산출과정에서 발생할 수 있는 오류들을 조기에 발견하고 수정할 수 있을 것으로 보이며, BIM 기반 LID 시설물 종합 관리 시스템 구축의 기반을 마련할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. Recently, Discussion about BIM based LID (Low Impact Development) facilities management system is activated because interest of LID technique for urban water cycle restoration is increasing. For this reason, this paper developed the auto-checking module of the BIM (Building Information Model) based supply output table. This module will be the foundation of the BIM based LID facilities total management system. The research order is composed like next follows: ① Select target area, ② Make BIM model of LID facilities and extract supply output table, ③ Develop comparison module, ④ Analysis results. As a result, the authors made 27 LID facilities and developed the supply output table comparison automation module. So, the authors could find differences of 2D design documents based supply output table and BIm based supply output table. So, the authors made an improvement suggestion of the design plan and could construct foundation of the BIM based LID facilities total management system.
