        2. 6-diformyl-pcresol과 2, 20dimethyl-1, 3-propanediamine의 금속 주형 축합반응으로 20-membered tetraazadioxa Schiff 염기 거대고리 리간드{5, 5, 11, 17, 17, 23-hexamethyl-3, 7, 15, 19-tetraazatricyclo[19, 3, 1,1^(9,13)]hexacosa -1(25), 2, 7, 9, 11, 13(26), 14, 19, 21, 23-decaene-25, 26-diol(H₂L_(mc)]}의 이핵 Mn(Ⅱ)착물을 합성하고, 그 성질들을 확인하였다. Binuclear Mn(Ⅱ) complexes of the 20-membered tetraazadioxa Schiff base macrocyclic ligand{5, 5, 11, 17, 17, 23-hexamethyl-3, 7, 15, 19-tetraazatricyclo[19, 3, 1,1^(9,13)]hexacosa -1(25), 2, 7, 9, 11, 13(26), 14, 19, 21, 23-decaene-25, 26-diol(H₂L_(mc)]} have been synthesized by metal template condensation of 2, 6-diformyl-pcresol and 2, 2-dimethyl-1, 3-propanediamine.

      • 흰쥐 중격핵의 아미노산 함량에 대한 해마 제거의 영향

        A study was planned to analyze amino acid in target structure -the septal mucleus-of hippocampectomized rats by high-performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC). 33 female rats were divided into 3 groups, of which 8 rats had their hippocampal tissue on both sides removed through an opening in the parieto-occipital cortex (hippocampal group), 7 rats received damage to the parieto-occipital cortex only (cortical control group), and 8 rats serveed as normal control animals. One week later, the animals were sacrificed by decapitationin the cold room. Two to three mg of tissue was obtained from the septal nucleus in one side of the brain. The tissue three mg of tissue was obtained from the septal nucleus in one side of the brain. The tissue samples were homogenized in 200 of 0.5M perchloric acid in 1mM EDTA with ground-glass homogenizers. After centrifugation at 3.500 rpm for 15 min, an aliquot of 80 supernatant was neutralized with 40㎕ of 2.0M KHCO and then centrifuged again at 3,500 rpm for 10min. An aliquot of 20㎕ was taken and diluted with 350㎕ β-mercaptopropionic acid in 10 ml of 100 mM sodium borate buffer (Ph 9.1) and 350㎕ of OPA solved in ethanol which was diluted with 10ml of 100 mM sodium borate buffer (Ph 9.1) Then 400㎕ of the resulting sample was injected auto injector. Peak areas were automatically integrated and calculated by chromatopac. In the septal nucleus, aspartate increased a little in the hippocampla group and the cortical control group than in the normal control group . while there were no significant difference between the 3 groups. Glutamate decreased significantly in the hippocampla group than in the normal control group (P<0.001) and the cortical control group (P<0.005), while there were no significant difference between the 2 control groups. In the serine, glycine, threonine and alanine, the differences among 3 group values were nonsignificant. It is inferred from the above mentioned results that excitatory transmitter substances employ the glutamate in the septal nucleus, and that the hippocampus was facilitatory to the septal nucleus.

      • Mn(Ⅲ)-Salen형 리간드 착물의 합성과 특성

        diamine류 { ethylenediamine, 1,3-propanediamine, 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediarnine, o-phenyle-nediamine}와 aldehydes { salicylaldehyde, 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde, 3,5-dichloro- salicylaldehyde, 3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde}를 methanol#액에서 축합반응시켜 네 자리 salen형 리간드(H₂L_(acn);n=1-11)를 합성하였다. 이들 리간드의 toluene(또는 methanol) 용액에 Mn(OAc)₂·4H₂O methanol용액을 첨가하고, 공기를 주입시켜[Mn(L_(acn))Cl] 착물을 얻었다. 이들 리간드 및 착물들은 원소분석, 전도도 및 NMR, IR, UV-VIS 분광학법을 이용하여 확인·고찰하였다. A series of tetradentate salen-type ligands(L_(ac)) were been prepared by condensation of diamines { ethylenediamine, 1,3-propanediamine, 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine, and o-phenylenediamine} and aldehydes {salicylaldehyde, 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde, 3,5-di-chlorosalicylaldehyde, and 3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde} in methanol. These [Mn(L_(ac))Cl] complexes were synthesized from the reaction of toluene(or methanol) of L_(ac) with methanol solution of Mn(OAc)₂·4H₂O in the presence of air. These ligands and complexes were characterized and confirmed by elemental analysis, conductivity, NMR, IR, and UV-VIS spectroscopy.

        In this study, the equipment and method to recyle waste-paint, were developed and investigated. The efficiency of drying and pulverizing the waste-paint were improved via vescosity reducing process and microwave energy source with a blast of hot air. This method may be useful to recyle the waste-paint, rubber and plastics.

      • [cis-Cr(III)(5,5,7,12,12,14-hexamethy1-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane)(L_(a))_(n)]CLO_(4)(n = 1 or 2)합성과 성질

        rac-5.5.7.12.12.14-hexamethy1-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane hydrate : Lm·H_(2)O was prepared and separated from the corresponding meso-isomer dihydrate according to the Curtis method. The racisomer was confirmed by spectroscopic data of NMR and IR spectroscopy. To synthesize the [CrL_m(OH)₂] complex. the racemic compound purified from meso and racemic mixture was reacted with Cr(II1) salt. The complx ion species {[SrL_m(OH)_(2)]^(+): λ_(max) = 613.0(ε_(max) = 116 M^(-1)cm^(-1)), {[CrLm(OH)(H_(2)O)]^(2+) : λ_(max) = 575.0nm(ε_(max) = 133M^(-1)cm^(-1)). [CrLm(H_(2)O)_(2)]^(3+) : λ_(max) = 532.0nm (ε_(max) = 172M^(-1)cm^(-1))} obtained from pH change of [CrLm(OH)_(2)(OH)_(3)]^(+) solution were confirmed from an electron absorption spectra. The result of the distribution diagram of chemical species proves that main products in the range of solution pH ≤ 3.5 . 3.5 <pH <7, and pH ≥ 7. are [CrLm(H_(2)O)_(2)]^(3+). [CrL_(m)(OH) (H_(2)O)^(2+). and [CrL_m(OH)_(2), respectively. At P~ 2.0, we synthesized several Cr(III)-macrocyclic complexes containing various axial ligands (L_(a) : I, Br^(-), CI^(-), S_(2)O_(3)^(2-), F^(-), malonate, NCS^-, oxalate) instead of H_(2)O. [CrL_m(OH_(2))]^(3+) + L_(a) →[CrL_(m)(L_(a))_(n)]^(+)(n = 1 or 2) Cr(III)-macrocyclic complexes combined with vaious ligands on the axial position were primarily confirmed with the mass spectrum.         This paper shows eletrochemical extraction property changes of dyed cations by the various eletrochemical conditions using quartz crystal technique. The quantitative and qualitative changes of electrode surface was monitored measuring oscillation parameters of quartz crystal. The results suggest that the eletrochemical extraction of cation is influenced by the various factors such as ionic size, ionic intensity and tendency of ionization.

      • 인지기능 장애 진단 도구의 치매 진단 예측

        60세 이상 노인들에서 CIDI가 치매와 비치매를 얼마나 잘 예측할 수 있는가를 알아보기 위해서 시행되었다. 방법: 어느 대학병원 정신과 환자들 중에서 DSM-IV상 치매 환자 86명과 60세 이상의 비치매 환자 129명이었다. 여러 변수들 중에서 교정 연령(실제 연령 -59), 교육 구간(무학,초등 교육, 중등교육, 고등교육), 그리고 CIDI 총점을 독립 변수로 하고, 치매 유무를 종속 변수로 하여 로지스틱 회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 결과: -2 log likelihood는 상수만 포함된 경우에는 289.395이었고, 교정 연령, 교육 구간, CIDI 성적 등의 독립 변수가 포함되면 102.773이었다(χ²=186.622, df=3, p=0.000), 적합도 통계는 156.798(χ²=6.5843,df=8, p=0.5821)이었다. 전박적 분류 일치율은 90.2%이었다. 세 독립 변수들의 통계값을 이용하여 로지스틱 회귀 방적식 y=7.5752 + 0.0940 * X₁+0.9820 * X₂-0.1811 * X₃(y=ln[π/(1-π)], X₁ :교정 연령, X₂: 교육 구간 X₃: CIDI 총점, π : 치매일 확률, 0.50 이상이면 치매, 미만이면 비치매)을 만들 수 있었다. 진단 예측에 영향을 끼치는 변수들 즉, 교정 연령, 교육 구간, 그리고 CIDI 총점의 □(95% C.I)는 각각 1.0985(1.0107 - 1.1940), 2.6699(1.4134 - 5.0436), 0.8344(0.7898- 0.8815)이었다. 결론: 회기분석 결과 CDIA는 치매 진단의 예측에 매우 유용한 인지기능 평가 도구임이 확인되었다. Objective: This study aimed at investigating the diagnostic predictability of Cognitive Impairment Diagnosing Instrument(CIDI) in diagnosing dementia of elderly people aged 60 years or more. Method: The subjects were 129 patients with other mental diseases than dementia whose ages were more than 60 years and 86 patients with dementia. Psychiatric diagnoses were made by according to the DSM-IV criteria. Converted age(chronological age minus 59) was employed for the statistical reason. The length of education was classified into 4 intervals : 1 for less than one year schooling, 2 for grade schooling, 3 for junior or senior high schooling and 4 for college or more schooling and each number espresses ordinal scale. The converted age, length of education expressed by one of 4 interval scores, and total CIDI score were independent variables while the diagnosis(dementia vs nondementia) was dependent variable in the logistic regression analysis. Results: -2 log likelihood was 102.773 when the lenght of education, converted age and total CIDI score were included while it was 289.395 when only the constant was included(χ²= 186.622, df=3, p=0.000). The goodness-of-fit statistic was 156.798(χ²=6.5843, df=8, p=0.5821), and the overall conocordance of diagnostic classification was 90.2%. The logistic regression equation for the diagnosis of dementia was generated as follows : y=7.5752 + 0.0940 * X₁+0.9820*X₂-0.1811*X₃(y=1n[π/(1-π)], X₁ : converted age, X₂: education intervals, X₃:total CIDI score, π : possibility of dementia, ≥0.50 indicating dementia and < 0.50 ndicating nondementia). The ebs(95% C.I.) for the converted age, education interval and total CIDI score were 1.0985(1.0107 - 1.1940), 2.6699(1.4134 - 5.0436), 0.8344(0.7898 - 0.8815), respectively. Conclusions: The CIDI could be considered as a useful diagnostic tool for dementia using the logistic regression analysis.

        This study was planned to analyze amino acids in the septal nucleus of dorsal and ventral hippocampectomized rats by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Male albino rats were used. Under chloral hydrate anesthesia (20%, 2 ml/kg body weight), a hole was made in each parietal bone about 4 mm lateral to the sagittal suture, and 4 mm rostral to the lambda suture. The cortical tissue on each side was removed and, through this opening, the hippocampal tissue anterodorsal and posteroventral to the hippocampal flexures on both sides was removed by aspiration. This preparation served as the dorsal and the ventral hippocampal animals, respectively. The cortical control animal received the same surgery short of hippocampectomy. The normal rats served as normal control animal. One day later, the animals were sacrificed by decapitation in the cold room. Two to three milligrams of tissue was obtained form the septal nucleus in one side of the brain. The tissue samples were homogenized and centrifuged. Then content of each amino acid was measured by HPLC form the brain tissue. The contents of aspartate and glutamate were decreased significantly more in the dorsal and ventral hippocampal groups than in the normal and the cortical control groups. The contents of glutamate were decreased significantly more in the ventral hippocampal group than in the dorsal hippocampal, while there were no significant differences between the two control groups. It is inferred form the above mentioned results that glutamate and aspartate may be used as excitatory transmitters in septal nucleus, and that the dorsal hippocampus may be facilitatory to the septal nucleus, but the ventral hippocampus would be inhibitory/facilitatory to the cortex.

      • 강원도 사북-고한 지역의 석탄광 폐석에 대한 물리적, 역학적 특성 연구

        석탄광 폐석의 건설용 골재로서 활용 가능성을 검토하기 위하여 폐석의 주요 구성암석인 사암, 사질혈암, 혈암, 탄질혈암을 대상으로 기초물성실험, 역학적 실험 및 골재원 특성 실험을 실시하였다. 시험결과치의 평균값을 기준으로 할 때 사암, 사질혈암, 혈암은 골재로서 활용이 가능하나, 실험치의 분산도가 심하여 활용가능 폐석과 불가능한 폐석이 혼재되 있음을 확인하였다. 반면에 탄질혈암은 골재원 특성이 가능하나 강도등 물성에서는 사용이 곤란한 것으로 판단되었다. 따라서 앞으로 폐석중 활용가능한 사암, 사질혈암 및 혈암을 효율적으로 분급하는 방안과 금번에 실시하지 못한 골재의 알카리 반응시험 등이 추가로 보완되었으면 한다. An experimental program was undertaken to test rock wastes from coal mines, for use as a new source of aggregate. Physical and mechanical properties, required for aggregate materials, of major constituents of rock wastes including sandstones, sandy shales, shales, and coal shales, were measured in the laboratory. Test results showed that the sandstones, sandy shales and shales tested in this study might possibly be used for construction aggregates, the highly scattered test data indicated considerable proportion of unusable rocks. In case of coal shales, the aggregate characteristics were generally adoptable but some physical properties such as rock strength were lower than required. In conclusion, it is suggested that an effective procedure for sorting the rock wastes, and additional tests such as alkali-aggregate reaction should be supplemented.
