For modern business firms, the most important factor in determining comprtitiveness of a firm is technology, rather than capital. Technogical innovation is a driving force to develop an economy and is essential in growth and/or survival of a business firm. Following studies concerned with this subject, small business firms seem to be more efficient in technological innovation and developing new technology in several respects. Espercially in the new technology based industries, the small business firms have several advantages in technological innovation. In this study, we tried to show how to plan a technology development strategy in relation to management strategy when small business of theoretical and empirical study, we aimed to show the way to efficient management and procedure of technological innovation. For the research methodology, we firstly reviewed and analyzed current and previous studies about technological innovation strategy, efficient management, and selection of R&D projects. Secondly, the results of this theoretical study was examined empirically. The empirical study contains 153 questionaires and 30 interviews for business firms of this area. In addition, for the evaluation criteria for the selection of R&D projects, we sent questionaires to 60 professors who teaches R&D OR in university or college level. The result of these questionaires was analyzed and compared with that of the business firms of this area. The result of this empirical study shows that top management of small business firms should notice the importance of technological innovation and try to stimulate R&D activity. For the evaluation criteria for R&D projection, the criteria which could reduce the possibility of future uncertainty, maximize profit, and he suited for the situation of the business firm, should be established.
Effects of Forest Therapy on Psychological Improvement in Middle-aged Women in Korea

Objectives: Women experience more stress in middle age than in other periods of their lives. Therefore, health management programs that enable middle-aged women to cope with and manage stress are needed. This study investigated the psychological effects of a meditation-focused forest therapy program among 53 middle-aged women living in urban areas in Korea. Methods: Participants were divided into 2 groups: one group underwent the program for 3 days in a forest, followed by 3 days in an urban environment, and the other group underwent the program for 3 days in the urban environment, followed by 3 days in the forest. The psychological effects of the forest therapy program were evaluated using the Profile of Mood States-Brief (POMS-B). Differences in mood state before and after the program conducted in the forest (experimental group) and in the urban environment (control group) were evaluated using the paired-samples t-test. Results: The program in the forest significantly reduced tension, depression, anger, fatigue, and confusion among the domains of the POMS-B. The program in the urban area significantly reduced tension, but not depression, anger, fatigue, or confusion. Conclusions: Meditation-focused forest therapy programs are expected to contribute to promoting psychological health and enhancing the quality of life of middle-aged women.
대용량 유입변압기 부싱형 변류기(BCT) 고장 사례 고찰

일반적으로 변류기 2차측 개방시 2차측 임피던스가 무한대로 되면서 고전압이 발생하고 변류기의 1차측 전류가 모두 자화전류로 작용하면서 과열 또는 절연파괴로 인해 손상되는 것으로 인식되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대용량의 유입식변압기 저압측 부싱에 설치된 부싱형 변류기 2차측 개방으로 인한 고장사례를 통해, 고장시 발생된 변압기 유중가스 농도변화를 분석하였으며 동일사양의 부싱형 변류기를 이용한 실증시험을 하여 변류기 개방시 변류기 단자에 발생된 전압크기를 추정하였다. 또한, 자계해석프로그램을 이용하여 변류기 개방시 온도변화를 모사하여 변류기 온도변화를 계산하였으며, 변류기 특성시험 장비를 이용하여 손상된 부싱형 변류기의 특성변화여부를 확인하고 변류기를 직접 분해하여 내부 과열여부 평가를 통해 2차측 개방으로 변류기 단자는 아크로 인해 손상되었지만 변류기가 특성 및 운전조건에 따라 변류기의 상태가 건전함을 확인하였다.
확률론적 평가를 이용한 원자력발전소 소내전력공급계통 신뢰도 감시 방법

This paper introduces a method to establish performance criteria of the in-house power supply system in nuclear power plants. The performance criteria of the system is presented in terms of the number of function failures and amount of the out-of-service time that can be allowed commensurate with the probabilistic safety assessment results of the nuclear power plants. To obtain the performance criteria such as reliability and availability, the functions of the system were analyzed and probabilistic assessment results were utilized. This method provides quantitative guidelines in selecting and monitoring system functions to determine an adequate level of maintenance quality in order to ensure the probabilistic goals for the safety of the nuclear power plants.
유중가스분석법을 이용한 대용량 변압기 고장진단 사례 고찰

발전소에 설치된 대용량 변압기의 고장사례에 절연유 온도에 따른 가스발생 형태, 가연성가스 성분비를 이용한 Rogers Ratio 법, 발생가스별 고장형태 및 원인분석 방법을 적용하여 고장원인을 진단하고 실제 확인된 고장원인을 고찰하였다. 사례 1은 저압측 탭권선이 과열로 손상된 사례로 온도에 따른 가스발생 형태 및 발생 가스별 고장 형태를 이용한 진단결과는 300℃이상에서 과열이 된 것으로 진단되어 거의 일치하나 Rogers Ratio 법을 적용하면 150℃ 정도에서 저온과열된 것으로 진단되어 약간의 차이를 보였다. 사례 2는 변압기 철심의 Burr 발생, 철심간 단락으로 인한 과열 및 아크가 발생된 고장으로 가스발생 패턴이 절연유 온도에 따른 가스발생 형태 및 사례 1과는 차이가 있고 특히, 내부 아크에 의해 발생되는 아세틸렌(C2H2)은 계속 증가하는 반면 “Hot Metal Gas“중의 하나인 에탄(C2H6)은 미량으로 특이한 가스발생 형태를 보였다. Rogers Ratio 법과 발생가스별 고장 형태 및 원인분석법에 의한 진단결과는 일치하였다.
유중가스농도를 이용한 유입식 변압기 고장진단 기법의 신뢰성에 관한 연구

Large Power transformer is a complex and critical component of power plant and consists of cellulosic paper, insulation oil, core, coil etc. Insulation materials of transformer and related equipment break down to liberate dissolved gas due to corona, partial discharge, pyrolysis or thermal decomposition. The dissolved gas kinds can be related to the type of electrical faults, and the rate of gas generation can indicate the severity of the fault. The identities of gases being generated are using very useful to decide the condition of transformation status. Therefore dissolved gas analysis is one of the best condition monitoring methods for power transformer. Also, on-line multi-gas analyzer has been developed and installed to monitor the condition of critical transformers. Rogers method, IEC method, key gas method and Duval Triangle method are used to failure diagnosis typically, and those methods are using the ratio or kinds of dissolved gas to evaluate the condition of transformer. This paper analyzes the reliability of transformer diagnostic methods considering actual dissolved gas concentration. Fault diagnosis is performed based on the dissolved gas of five transformers which experienced various fault respectively in the field, and the diagnosis result is compared with the actual off-line fault analysis. In this comparison result, Diagnostic methods using dissolved gas ratio like Rogers method, IEC method are sometimes fall outside the ratio code and no diagnosis but Duval triangle method and Key gas method is correct comparatively.
