Vol.32 No.12
As the software development process becomes complicated, software requirements become complicated, too. Many efforts are needed in requirements management. It is impossible to define all requirements of software at first, and the development environment changes as project is gone. As the cost of requirements change management is much more than development cost, the changes should be controled immediately through systematic change management. In this paper, I suggest a method to manage requirements change systematically based on the change management process in software product lines. The requirements change at the application engineering process is analyzed and managed using the domain engineering process because the application requirements are customized from the domain requirements in software product lines. Such the consistent change management helps to make decisions about changes by change impact analysis and alternative solution design. Through this method, the potential change costs can be saved because same change requests are not repeated by controlling the change requests completely.

A corpus analysis of the English emails written by 50 legal assistants was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, the corpus software AntConc (version 3.4.3) was used to extract the frequently used word list and to perform n-gram analysis. In the second stage, Ms Excel (version 2010) was used for genre analysis and move analysis. Through careful reading and re-reading, the data were content analyzed to categorize the recipients and the purposes. The emails were categorized into four major genres- Providing Information, Making Requests, Making Inquiries, and Replies- based on the purpose of email writing. Move analysis was then performed to find the typical moves of the most frequently used email genre by the legal assistants, Providing Information. The typical move pattern of Providing Information was found to be introduction – providing general information - providing detailed information – adding additional explanation – closing. The results of this study are expected to provide basic yet useful information on legal assistants’ English emails and to stimulate further studies for improving the English email communication skills of legal assistants.

<P>Fully activated Li2MnO3 nanoparticles were prepared by a chemical based oxidation reaction. All of the diffraction peaks of the prepared samples were well matched to a monoclinic phase (space group: <I>C</I>2/<I>m</I>) with no impurity peaks and refined using the General Structure Analysis System (GSAS) program. The activated Li2MnO3 sample showed homogeneously well-dispersed nanoparticles with a size of ∼10 nm. The oxidation state of Mn was confirmed by XPS. The activated Li2MnO3 nanoparticles delivered a high charge capacity of 302 mA h g−1 above 4.5 V and discharge capacity of 236 mA h g−1 during the first cycle. Interestingly, the cycle performance of the activated Li2MnO3 nanoparticles during extended cycles exhibited somewhat stable discharge capacities without any drastic capacity fading, even when cycled in the high voltage range of 2.0–4.9 V and after the phase transition to spinel. In terms of the rate performance, the activated Li2MnO3 sample exhibited significantly superior properties compared to the bulk Li2MnO3 sample, probably due to the nano-size particles with high crystallinity.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>Fully activated Li2MnO3 nanoparticles with impressive electrochemical abilities were prepared by a chemical based oxidation reaction. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=c2jm30962a'> </P>
