        전통놀이에서의 강제결합법 적용이 유아의 창의성과 놀이성에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 전통놀이에서의 강제결합법 적용이 유아의 창의성과 놀이성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구는 경기도의 H초등학교병설유치원 만 4세 2학급을 각각 실험집단(20명)과 비교집단(20명)으로 선정하여 총 40명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구를 위해 실험집단은 10주 동안 주 2회씩 총 20차시의 강제결합법을 적용한 전통놀이를 실시하였고, 비교집단은 기존의 일반적인 전통놀이를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 사전검사의 점수를 공변인으로 통제한 후 공분산분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실험집단의 유아는 비교집단의 유아보다 창의성 전체 점수와 하위 구성요인인 유창성, 융통성, 독창성, 상상력에서 높은 점수를 나타내었으며, 이러한 결과는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 실험집단의 유아는 비교집단의 유아보다 놀이성 전체 점수와 하위 구성요소인 신체적 자발성, 사회성 자발성, 인지적 자발성, 즐거움의 표현, 유머 감각에서 높은 점수를 나타내었으며, 이러한 결과는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 유아교육현장에서 전통놀이를 실시할 때, 창의적 사고기법 중 하나인 강제결합법을 적용하면 유아의 창의성과 놀이성 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있다는 것을 시사한다. This study investigated the effect of applying the forced relationship technique to traditional plays on young children’s creativity and playfulness. The subjects of the study were 40 four-year-old children attending two classes of a public kindergarten in Gyeongido. The 20 children in the experimental group participated in traditional plays by applying the forced relationship technique twice a week for ten weeks. The 20 children in the comparative group performed ordinary traditional plays. The collected data were analyzed by means of ANCOVA using SPSS 22.0. The results can be summarized as follows. First, there were statistically significant differences between the two groups in creativity. The experimental group showed greater improvement than the comparative group in the four subfactors of creativity: fluency, flexibility, originality, and imagination. Second, there were significant differences between the two groups in playfulness. The experimental group scored better than the comparative group on the five subfactors of playfulness: physical spontaneity, social spontaneity, cognitive spontaneity, expression of pleasure, and sense of humor. These results indicate that applying the forced relationship technique to traditional plays could be effective means of enhancing young children’s creativity and playfulness.

        어머니의 우울이 남녀 아동의 문제행동에 미치는 영향 : 어머니 정신화의 조절효과

        이 연구에서는 어머니의 우울이 아동의 문제행동에 미치는 영향에서 어머니 정신화의 조절효과를 알아보고자 서울의 4개 초등학교에 재학중인 1~6학년 학생의 어머니를 대상으로 어머니의 우울, 어머니의 정신화, 아동의 내재화 및 외현화 문제행동을 평가하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 어머니의 우울과 정신화, 아동의 문제행동이 아동 성별에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는지 살펴본 결과, 남아의 외현화 문제행동 수준이 여아보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 주요변인들 간의 관계를 살펴 본 결과, 어머니의 우울과 아동의 내재화 및 외현화 문제행동간 유의미한 정적 상관이 나타났으며, 어머니의 우울과 정신화 수준간 유의미한 부적상관이, 어머니의 정신화 수준과 아동의 내재화 및 남아의 외현화 문제행동간 유의미한 부적 상관이 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니의 우울이 아동의 문제행동에 끼치는 영향에서 어머니의 정신화가 갖는 조절효과는 남녀에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 즉, 남아에게서는 어머니의 우울이 내재화 문제행동에 끼치는 영향에서 어머니의 정신화가 보호효과를 나타내는 반면, 여아에게서는 어머니의 우울이 외현화 문제행동에 끼치는 영향에서 어머니의 정신화가 촉진효과를 나타내었다. 이 연구결과는 어머니의 심리적 특성이 아동의 문제행동에 미치는 영향력을 확인하고, 어머니의 우울과 아동의 문제행동간의 관계에서 아동의 성별에 따른 어머니 정신화의 조절효과를 확인하였다는 의의를 지닌다. 연구의 제한점과 이를 바탕으로 한 후속연구에 대해 제안하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effects of maternal mentalization in the correlation of maternal depression on their child behavior problem. The study was conducted on 809 persons; the mothers of the first to sixth graders attending four elementary s cho os l in Seoul, to evaluate the effects of maternal depression, maternal mentalization on child’s internalizing and externalizing problems. The results of this study includes: first, the level of boys' externalizing behavior problems was found to be higher than that of girls.’ Second, as a result of examining the relationship between the major variables, there was a significant positive correlation between maternal depression and child’s internalizing and externalizing p ro blems. Whereas, there was a significant negative correlation between maternal depression and mentalization level, and a significant negative c o rrelation between maternal mentalization level and child's internalizing problems and boys’ externalizing problems. Third, in the influence of maternal depression on child behavior problem, the moderating effects of maternal mentalization were different for boys and girls. In other words, in boys, maternal mentalization showed a protective effect in the influence of maternal depression on internalizing problems, whereas in girls, maternal mentalization in the influence of maternal depression on externalizing problems showed a facilitating effect. The findings of this study c o nfirm the influence of the psychological characteristics of the mother on the child behavior problem and a lso confirm the moderating effects of the maternal mentalization according to the gender of the child in the relationship between the maternal depression and the child behavior problem. Finally, future studies are encouraged based o n the findings and limitations of the current study.

        Participants’ Perceptions on a Multi-goal Oriented English Language Education Policy : A Case of TaLK (Teach and Learn in Korea)

        This study examines the perceptions of participants in a governmentinitiated program, TaLK (Teach and Learn in Korea), that aims to provide children in rural areas with English education opportunities with native-speaking instructors. The main goals of TaLK are 1) to lessen the English divide that exists in Korea by increasing English language proficiency among students in rural areas; 2) to offer opportunities for foreign college students to learn Korean language and culture; and 3) to offer Korean college students with opportunities to enhance their intercultural competence by interacting with foreign college students. Based on survey responses from 851 TaLK participants, 280 foreign college students, 398 Korean college students, and 173 English teachers, the analysis focused on the participants’ perceptions of how well the implemented program reached its proposed goals and whether there was a difference in the perceptions across the three groups. Results show that TaLK was perceived by all participants to be somewhat successful, although the intense focus on the needs of foreign college students left the other participants desiring more support. The findings provide significant insights for how implementation of such native-speaking English teacher recruitment programs can be further improved and extended to other Asian EFL contexts.

        Secondary Teachers’ Perception on English Education Policies in Korea

        Due to the expected value of English proficiency for living in a global society, acquiring English proficiency has become a major concern for many people in Korea. This attention is because people in Korea believe English is providing them with premium opportunities to better their lives such as being admitted to prestigious schools or getting high-paying jobs. The differential investment in learning English thus has yielded a new form of social inequality, dividing people between the English rich and the English poor. Perceiving the potential negative effects of the English divide and the importance of equipping Koreans’ English proficiency, the Korean government has put effort and strategic investment into improving public English education in Korea. Studies on policies have often been presented in a multilingual context where the concept of language policies, language education policies, foreign language policies, and English language education policies are somewhat blurred. Looking at the English education policies in a monolingual society like Korea exclusively can present a focused view on the effectiveness of English education policies. This study presents the key policies put into practice to improve the quality of English education in Korea and highlights secondary teachers’ responses to those policies in attaining the policy goals. A total of 1039 secondary teachers working in Daegu participated in the survey administered twice: 557 in 2010 and 482 in 2016. The perceptual changes are discussed with the participants’ comments included in the results. The study will provoke discussion and intuition for managing English education policies in similar contexts.

        Design and Implementation of Salivary Electrical Stimulator for xerostomia

        After 40 years of age, the saliva glands are aged and the saliva is not made enough to cause xerostomia symptoms. Side effects such as hypertension medication or diuretics that the elderly take mainly can cause xerostomia syndrome. In addition, autoimmune diseases, diabetes, anemia, depression and other common diseases that cause xerostomia symptoms. If the saliva secretion is insufficient, tooth decay and gum disease are likely to occur, and the digestive ability of the saliva is also reduced due to the lack of amylase, which is a digestive element. Once the degenerated salivary gland is restored to its normal state, it is difficult to recover. In this paper, we give electrical stimulation to the masseter which is in contact with the large pituitary gland, and stimulate the salivary gland to the utmost by using speech recognition using words corresponding to oral gymnastics. Use the STM32F407VG to implement a system to relieve xerostomia.
