      • Feedback Stabilization of a Class of Time-delay Systems with Discontinuity

Jiangyan Zhang,Tielong Shen 제어로봇시스템학회 2008 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2008 No.10

In this paper, a feedback stabilization approach is proposed for a class of time-delay systems with discontinuity based on functional differential inclusions. By extending the differential inclusion in the sense of Filippov to functional differential inclusion, a notion of the solution for time-delay systems with discontinuity is presented that is defined satisfying the proposed Filippov set-valued functional. With this notion, it is shown that both the Lyapunov-Krasovskii stability theorem and the LaSalle invariance principle can be easily extended to discuss the stability problem of time-delay systems with discontinuity. Based on the introduced analysis tools, it is proved that a feedback stabilization controller can be obtained for a class of nonlinear time-delay systems with discontinuity such that the closed loop system is strongly asymptotically stable. Simulation result of a numerical example is given to demonstrate the proposed control approach.

Lyapunov-based Feedback Design and Experimental Verification of IC Engine Speed Control

        Jiangyan Zhang,Tielong Shen,Junichi Kako,Shozo Yoshida 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2009 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.7 No.4

In this paper, the speed control problem of internal combustion engines is investigated based on mean-value engine models. The dynamics of internal combustion engines is a complicated nonlinear system, and usually, it is difficult to know the exact values of the physical parameters. First, a Lyapunov-based design method is shown without requiring the full information of the physical pa-rameters. Then, to improve transient performance, the design method is extended to several cases un-der different operation conditions. Numerical simulation results are presented for comparing the pro-posed design methods. Finally, experiments are conducted on an engine test bench and the results demonstrate the validity of the proposed design methods.

Elemental mercury removal from syngas at high-temperature using activated char pyrolyzed from biomass and lignite

        Huawei Zhang,Hongju Shi,Jiangyan Chen,Ke Zhao,Yanhong Hao 한국화학공학회 2016 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.33 No.11

Activated char obtained by the co-pyrolysis of a mixture of lignite and biomass impregnated with ZnCl2 solution was found to be effective for the high-temperature capture of mercury from syngas. The prepared samples were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Hg-thermal programmed desorption as well as Brunauer- Emmett-Teller analysis. The results show that activated char exhibits a large surface area as well as abundant micropores and C-Cl, C=O, and COOH functional groups. During the chemisorption of mercury, gaseous Hg0 is first oxidized by C-Cl to HgCl2; HgCl2 which acts as the intermediate product then reacts with the C=O and COOH functional groups on the surface of activated char to generate Hg-OM. At high adsorption temperatures, Hg-OM on the adsorbent surface can further decompose and generate HgO. The C-Cl group is important for the first oxidation step of gaseous Hg0, and the formation of HgCl2 is the rate-determining step for the entire process of adsorption.

One-step synthesis of mesoporous sulfated zirconia nanoparticles with anionic template

        Hongping Pu,Yongming Luo,Liuyi Zhang,Dongquan Du,Caiyun Han,Hongyin Li,Jiangyan Li 한국화학공학회 2012 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.29 No.10

Mesoporous sulfated zirconia nanoparticles (MSZNP) with high surface area have been synthesized by using sodium dodecyl sulfate (C12H25OSO3Na, SDS), both as a template and a sulfating agent via one-step route. On the basis of FT-IR, EDS together with NH3-TPD analyses, the SO42− anion, originated from the hydrophilic head of SDS, can be incorporated into ZrO2 to form MSZNP with super-acidity. The phase transition of ZrO2 from tetragonal to monoclinic phase was effectively inhibited by the presence of SO42−, and the formation mechanism was illustrated in detail. MSZNP(550) achieved far higher activity than CSZ(550) in transesterification of soybean oil with methanol due to the synergistic effect of strong acidity, high BET surface area and the formation of mesostructure.

      • A Review of Gift Research from the Perspective of Anthropology

Jiang Yan,Zhang Yan 아시아사회과학학회 2021 Jornal of Asia Social Science Vol.3 No.1

From the beginning of the study of potlatch and “Kula”, because of the close relationship between gifts and social economy, interpersonal relationships, identification, social structure, religious beliefs, social change and so on, gift-related research have entered the anthropological research field. This paper reviews the related achievements of gift research from the aspects of gift itself and its anthropological attributes, finding that gift-related research shows the characteristics such as diverse research fields, broad research scope, equal emphasis on theory and materials, diverse research methods, and emphasis on summary and reflection. In the future, we should enhance the breadth and depth of gift research, andpromotes the sinicization of gift research.
