The experimental study from the beam-column subassemblies is presented. Test parameters are flexual strength ratio, joint shear stress factor and transverse steel reinforcement ratio. The results from cyclic loading tests show very ductile characteristics. In the designing of ductile moment resisting frame, therefore, transverse reinforcing effect of column and joint should be included.

The 8 specimens are tested for vertical joint of PC large panel type. The comparison of the specimens having a different strength between grout concrete and panel is presented and other design parameters such as steel reinforcing ratio and location are varied. Test behaviors are discussed on crack patterns near shear-key, maximum shear and energy absorption capacities. If the relative strength of grout concrete is high, the results show more ductile and rely on the reinforcing loop bar than the case of same relative strength.

A vibration monitoring system for a small class of wind turbine (W/T) is established and operated. The monitoring system consists of monolithic integrated chip accelerometer for vibration monitoring, anemometers for wind data acquisition and auxiliary sensors for atmospheric data. Using the monitoring system, vibration response of a 6kW W/T generator is investigated. Acceleration data of the W/T tower under various operation condition is acquired in real time using LabVIEW and is remotely transferred from the test site to the laboratory in school by internet. Vibration state of the tower structure is diagnosed within the operating speed range. Resonance frequency range of the test model is investigated with the wind speed data of the test site.

The analytical studies from the test results are presented. From experimental envelope curve, hysteretic behaviors under cyclic loading are modeled for beam-column subassemblages. Modelled curves show relatively good reproduction for experimental curves. Finally, seismic performances are investigated for 7 story plain framed structure by nonlinear dynamic analysis. The resulting responses are different by each beam-column joint design.

Multivariate analysis showed that a tumor size >4 cm was the only factor associated with risk of recurrence after surgery (P = 0.014), that margin status was the only factor associated with disease-free survival (P = 0.0.047), and that margin status and lymph node metastasis were associated with overall survival (P = 0.017 and 0.012, respectively).
Conclusions
Pelvic exenteration and reconstruction was found to have a potential to provide long-term survival without postoperative mortality although the morbidity rate is somewhat high. Multivariate analysis showed that tumor size >4 cm was a predictive factor for recurrence, and that margin status and lymph node metastasis were predictive factors for survival. J. Surg.
