        The literary works of 『Seon-bong』, 『Lenin Gichi』 and 『Goryo Ilbo』 are meaningful as the archetype of Goryo tribe‘s Literature. The studies on the literary works of these papers will not be limited to the studies on emigration literature but also contribute to the searching of the real entity of emigration literature as well as finding the linkage to the North Korean literature. Most works are based on the praise for the revolution of socialism, but we can see warmth of human too, which is the universal sentiment of Korean people in them. Also, we can see that the praise for the Soviet Socialism Ideology was reluctantly made with the social atmosphere and regional environment at that time. Although the region and environment has changed, the racial sentiment of Han has not been lost but kept. And that‘s the own feature of CIS Goryo tribe’s literature.(HongIk University·Seoul National University)

      • 초고집적소자의 층간절연막용 polysilazane계 spin on glass (SOG)에 관한 연구

        초고집적소자의 층간절연막으로서의 polysilazane계 spin on glass (SOG)의 적용 가능성을 평가하였다. 상용화된 무기 SOG 계열의 polysilazane과 polysilazane에 산화제를 첨가하여 SiO_2로의 변환 능력을 향상시킨 물질을 spin coating하고 curing하여 SOG 막을 제조한 다음, 400℃에서 900℃까지의 온도범위에서 열에 SOG막을 형성하여 gapfill 특성을 비교하였으며, SOG막에 contact hole을 형성한 다음 습식 세정에 대한 저항성을 평가하였다. 산화제를 첨가함으로써 polysilazane polymer 구조에서 SiO_2로의 변환이 더욱 효과적으로 이루어져, 기존 SOG 막에 비해 밀도 및 습식세정 chemical에 대한 저항성이 우수하고거 gapfill 특성은 동등한 수준인 SOG 막을 제조할 수 있었다. 특히, 기존의 SOG 막의 경우 좁은 gap space 내에서 curing이 충분하게 이어나지 않아 습식 세정시 hole profile이 나빠지는 문제를 산화제 첨가를 통해 해결할 수 있었다. We have investigated the feasibility of spin on glass (SOG) film from polysilazane-type resin as a premetal dielectric (PMD) layer of the next-generation ultra-large scale integrated (ULSI) devices. A commercial polysilazane resin and a polysilazane-type resin with oxidzing agent were spin-coated and cured to form SOG films. In order to study the effect of oxidizing agent and annealing, the SOG films were characterized as cured and after annealing at 400℃ to 900℃. The density and the resistance against wet chemical of the SOG films were improved by the addition of oxidizing agent, because oxidizing agent enhanced the conversion from polysilazane polymer to siO_2. The hole profile issue associated with insufficient curing of polysilazane innarrow gaps was alao resolved by oxidizing agent, while the gapfill capability of SOG was not deteriorated by oxidizing agent.

      • 전자기 유도를 이용한 자석의 자화도 측정 연구

        본 연구에서 우리는 전자기 유도(Electromagnetic induction) 현상을 이용하여 영구자석(Permanent magnet)의 자화도(Magnetization) M 을 측정하였다. 솔레노이드(Solenoid) 코일다발(Coil bundle)의 중심축을 따라 자유낙하 운동하는 영구자석에 의한 자속(Magnetic flux) 변화는 코일다발에 전자기 유도 현상을 일으킨다. 이와 같이 발생하는 전자기 유도 현상을 분석하여 영구자석의 자화도 M 을 예측하였다. 최고점 유도 기전력(Maximum induced electromotive force) ε<sub>max</sub> 에 대한 영구자석의 자기쌍극자 모멘트(Magnetic dipole moment) 평균값 m<sub>+</sub>(αυg)은 3.2666 Am<sup>2</sup> 이고, 자화도 M은 3.33×10<sup>5</sup> A/m 이며, 자기장의 세기 μ<sub>0</sub>M은 0.42 T = 42000 G로 예측되었다. 이 결과는 테슬라미터(Tesla meter)를 이용하여 얻은 결과들과 약 10% 오차 내에서 일치하였다. In this study we measured the magnetization M of permanent magnets by using electromagnetic induction. Magnetic flux changes by permanent magnet that does free falling along the central axis of a solenoid coil cause electromagnetic induction in a coil bundle. The magnetization M of the permanent magnets was estimated by analyzing the electromagnetic induction phenomenon. The magnetic dipole moment average value m<sub>+</sub>(αυg) of the permanent magnet for induced electromotive force ε<sub>max</sub> at the maximum position is 3.2666 Am<sup>2</sup>, the magnetization M ≃ 3.33 × 10<sup>5</sup> A/m , and the magnetic field intensity μ<sub>0</sub>M ≃ 0.42 T = 4200 G. These results were consistent with the results obtained using a Tesla meter within about 10% of the error.

      • A General Approach to Preferential Formation of Active Fe–N<sub><i>x</i></sub> Sites in Fe–N/C Electrocatalysts for Efficient Oxygen Reduction Reaction

        <P>Iron-nitrogen on carbon (Fe-N/C) catalysts have emerged as promising nonprecious metal catalysts (NPMCs) for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in energy conversion and storage devices. It has been widely suggested that an active site structure for Fe-N/C catalysts contains Fe-N-x coordination. However, the preparation of high-performance Fe-N/C catalysts mostly involves a high-temperature pyrolysis step, which generates not only catalytically active Fe-N-x sites, but also less active large iron-based particles. Herein, we report a general 'silica-protective-layer-assisted' approach that can preferentially generate the catalytically active Fe-N-x sites in Fe-N/C catalysts while suppressing the formation of large Fe-based particles. The catalyst preparation consisted of an adsorption of iron porphyrin precursor on carbon nanotube (CNT), silica layer overcoating, high-temperature pyrolysis, and silica layer etching, which yielded CNTs coated with thin layer of porphyrinic carbon (CNT/PC) catalysts. Temperature-controlled in situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy during the preparation of CNT/PC catalyst revealed the coordination of silica layer to stabilize the Fe-N-4 sites. The CNT/PC catalyst contained higher density of active Fe-N-x sites compared to the CNT/PC prepared without silica coating. The CNT/PC showed very high ORR activity and excellent stability in alkaline media. Importantly, an alkaline anion exchange membrane fuel cell (AEMFC) with a CNT/PC-based cathode exhibited record high current and power densities among NPMC-based AEMFCs. In addition, a CNT/PC-based cathode exhibited a high volumetric current density of 320 A cm(3) in acidic proton exchange membrane fuel cell. We further demonstrated the generality of this synthetic strategy to other carbon supports.</P>

        The effects of breed and gender on meat quality of Duroc, Pietrain, and their crossbred

        This study evaluated the effects of breed and gender in Duroc (D), Pietrain (P), and crossbred (DP) pigs. Loin samples were collected from D (n = 79), P (n = 42), and DP (n = 45) pigs. Intramuscular fat content was significantly lower in P (p < 0.001), and pH was lowest in DP pigs (p < 0.001). Gilts had higher intramuscular fat (IMF) and pH values than did castrated males (p < 0.05). Water-holding capacity was lower in DP pigs than that in D and P pigs (p < 0.001). Shear force in DP pigs was higher than that in D and P pigs (p < 0.001). Lightness and yellowness of meat in DP pigs was increased compared with coloring of P pig meat (p < 0.01). Meat from DP pigs was redder compared with meat from in D and P pigs, and it was higher in gilts than in castrates (p < 0.001). The C16:0 content was lower in P and DP pigs than in D pigs (p < 0.01). C18:2 content was higher in P and DP pigs than in D pigs (p < 0.001). Unsaturated and saturated fatty acids increased in P pigs compared with levels in D pigs (p < 0.05). Our results suggest that meat quality can be controlled by crossbreeding to increase or reduce selected properties. This study provides the basic data on the meat characteristics of F1 DP pigs. Thus, further study should be conducted to estimate the meat quality of various crossbreeds.

      • Preclinical evaluation of injectable sirolimus formulated with polymeric nanoparticle for cancer therapy

        <P>Nanoparticles are useful delivery vehicles for promising drug candidates that face obstacles for clinical applicability. Sirolimus, an inhibitor of mammalian target of rapamycin has gained attention for targeted anticancer therapy, but its clinical application has been limited by its poor solubility. This study was designed to enhance the feasibility of sirolimus for human cancer treatment. Polymeric nanoparticle (PNP)–sirolimus was developed as an injectable formulation and has been characterized by transmission electron microscopy and dynamic light scattering. Pharmacokinetic analysis revealed that PNP–sirolimus has prolonged circulation in the blood. In addition, PNP–sirolimus preserved the in vitro killing effect of free sirolimus against cancer cells, and intravenous administration displayed its potent in vivo anticancer efficacy in xenograft tumor mice. In addition, PNP–sirolimus enhanced the radiotherapeutic efficacy of sirolimus both in vitro and in vivo. Clinical application of PNP–sirolimus is a promising strategy for human cancer treatment.</P>

      • Efficient Isolation of Intact RNA from the Soft Coral Scleronephthya gracillimum $(K\ddot{u}kenthal)$ for Gene Expression Analyses

        A rapid, simple and efficient method to extract RNA from the adult polyps of a soft coral, marine cnidarian, Scleronephthya gracillimum $(K\ddot{u}kenthal)$; was developed in this study. The highest yield and purity of RNA was obtained with the lysis solution containing 35 mM EDTA, 0.7 M LiCl, 7.0% SDS, and 200 mM Tris-Cl (pH 9.0). Approximately $40{\mu}g$ of total RNA was extracted from 200 mg of liquid nitrogen-pulverized polyp tissue. The ratio of absorbance at 260 nm and 280 nm ranged from 1.8 to 2.0. The results of the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RTPCR) with ${\beta}-actin$ gene specific primers and Northern blot analysis using the same gene probe revealed that the RNA extracted by our method had high quality, and was sufficient for subsequent molecular biological analyses. This method was effective for RNA extraction from other soft coral species which belong to the genus Dendronephthya.

        폭발방지를 고려한 LPG 저장탱크 최적설계

        자동차 연료로 가스를 사용하는 것은 ‘삶의 질’ 향상을 넘어 ‘생존’의 문제로 환경보존과 경제발전을 조화롭게 추구하는 ‘지속가능한 발전’이란 새로운 패러다임에 부흥하고 있다. 하지만 가스사용이 늘어나면서 폭발과 화재에 의한 인명피해가 해마다 발생하고 있으며, 대규모 저장시설에서의 가스 사고는 사회적으로 심각한 문제를 야기하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 지하 격납 저장탱크에서의 폭발발생을 최소화하기 위하여 한정된 내용적과 화염에 노출되는 표면적을 최소로 하는 폭발방지를 고려한 최적의 저장탱크를 설계하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 최적조건의 저장탱크를 설계한 결과, 20ton 저장탱크는 직경 3m, 길이 4.83m일 때 지하 격납 공간이 최소가 되었으며, 화염에 노출되는 표면적은 기존의 저장탱크에 비하여 89.4%로 줄어들어 안전성이 향상되었다. Used gas to the vehicle fuel are the problems of the 'survival' beyond the 'quality of life' improvements and revive a new paradigm of 'sustainable development' which pursues economic development in harmony with environmental conservation. However, the fatalities caused by explosions and fires increases every year with the increase in the use of LPG; gas accidents in large-scale storage facilities also cause severe damage to property. In this study, a suitable storage tank is designed in which the surface area of the fuel exposed to flames is minimized in order to prevent explosions; thus, the occurrences of explosions in underground storage tanks can be minimized. According to the optimum design of storage tank obtained in this study, underground containment space was minimized; the minimized diameter and length of a 20-ton storage tank was 3 m and 4.83 m, respectively. Thus, safety was ensured since surface area exposed to flames decreased by 89.4%, which is less than the exposed surface area in the currently used storage tanks.

        드래그 피니싱 공정 기반 폴리싱 연마제를 이용한 초경 드릴 및 서멧 리머 공구의 가공 평가

        After drilling, reaming is required to process a workpiece for obtaining an excellent surface quality. In general, a cermet is defined as a “composite of a ceramic hard phase and metal-bonded phase.” Cermets have excellent abrasion resistance, thermal resistance, and performance in finishing operations that require surface roughness and processing precision. However, although cermets have significant advantages, research on them is insufficient. In this study, workpiece SM45C was machined using drills and cermet reamers. The cermet reamer was processed for drag finishing for 0, 4, and 6 min. The experimental results showed the effects of drag finishing on surface roughness and dimensional accuracy.
