        Defining the relationship between the quality of injection molded parts and the process condition is very complicate because of lots of factor are involved and each factor has a non-linearity. With the development of CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) technology, the estimation of volumetric shrinkage of injection mold parts is possible by computer simulation even though restricted application. In this research, the Taguchi method and Neural Network applied for finding optimal processing condition. And Neural network applied for investigating optimum condition within factor level. The results of three different approach compared looking for the best condition.

        Selecting optimum condition is not easy problem for product design or manufacturing process design. Specially in the case of the quality of parts is not uniform and the frequent noise caused by uncertainty of environment, it is impossible selecting optimum product and manufacturing process design without experimental design method. Experimental design is very important role solving this kind of problems. The goal of experimental design is minimizing the noise of environment so achieving the robustness of product and process. In this research, the effect of experiment data size analyzed in case of Taguchi method. With three different data size, the ability of selecting optimum condition compared respectively.

      • Mahalanobis-Distance Outlier Detection Method를 이용한 자동차 브레이크 설계인자가 고객 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        In this work, Mahalanobis Distance Outlier detection method used for analyzing automotive brake feeling system, which consist of 9 brake design factors, JD power customer survey index and Buyer behavior index. From the 9 design factors, the Mahalanobis Distance calculated with respect to each selected car. The high MD value means that data out of trend and treated as a outlier and removed further process. From 32 different car models, 7 models are removed as a outlier and 25 cars used for linear regression. The results of linear regression after removing outlier shows very good relation between brake design factors and customer satisfaction.

        Identification of ABSCISIC ACID (ABA) signaling related genes in Panax ginseng

        Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng) has long been cultivated as an important economic medicinal plant. Owing to the seasonal and long-term agricultural cultivation methods of Korean ginseng, they are always vulnerable to various environmental stress conditions. ABSCISIC ACID (ABA) is an essential plant hormone associated with seed development and diverse abiotic stress responses including drought, cold and salinity stress. By modulating ABA responses, plants can regulate their immune responses and growth patterns to increase their ability to tolerate stress. With recent advances in genome sequencing technology, we first reported the functional features of genes related to canonical ABA signaling pathway in P. ginseng genome. Based on the protein sequences and functional genomic analysis of Arabidopsis thaliana, the ABA related genes were successfully identified. Our functional genomic characterizations clearly showed that the ABA signaling related genes consisting the ABA receptor proteins (PgPYLs), kinase family (PgSnRKs) and transcription factors (PgABFs, PgABI3s and PgABI5s) were evolutionary conserved in the P. ginseng genome. We confirmed that overexpressing ABA related genes of P. ginseng completely restored the ABA responses and stress tolerance in ABA defective Arabidopsis mutants. Finally, tissue and age specific spatio-temporal expression patterns of the identified ABArelated genes in P. ginseng tissues were also classified using various available RNA sequencing data. This study provides ABA signal transduction related genes and their functional genomic information related to the growth and development of Korean ginseng. Additionally, the results of this study could be useful in the breeding or artificial selection of ginseng which is resistant to various stresses.

      • Applying Mahalanobis Taguchi System for Analyzing the Effect between University Admission Requirements and Student's Academic Accomplishment.

        Mahalanobis Taguchi System (MTS) is a pattern information technology, which has been used in different diagnostic applications to make quantitative decisions by constructing a multivariative measurement scale using data analytic methods. In MTS approach, Mahalanobis distance (MD) is used to measure the degree of abnormality of patterns and principles of Taguchi methods are used to evaluate accuracy of predictions based on the scale constructed. The advantage of MD is that it takes into consideration the correlations between the variables and this consideration is very important in pattern analysis. The purpose of this study is constructing admission diagnosis system and define the effect of admission requirements for student's academic accomplishment.

        자궁강내 인공수정에 의한 임신율

        The effectiveness of intrauterine insemination (IUI) combined with controlled ovanan hyperstimulation (COH) in the treatment of infertility with various etiologies was compared in a total of 152 cycles. Patients received a maximum of three IUI cycles for the treatment. Severe male ($<2\times10^6$ motile sperm) or age factor (> 39 y) patients were excluded in this study. Pregnancy was classified as clinical if a gestational sac was seen on ultrasound. The overall clinical pregnancy rate was 7.9% per cycle (12/152) and 9.7% per patient (12/124). The pregnancy rates were 0% in unstimulated natural (0/18), 7.5% in CC (3/40), 8.2% in CC+hMG (4/49), 5.9% in GnRH-a ultrashort (1/17), 5.9% in GnRH-a long (1/17) and 27.3% in dual suppression cycles (3/11), respectively. The pregnancy rate was higher in dual suppression cycle than other stimulated cycles, but this was not significant. The multiple pregnancy rates were 25.0% (2 twins and 1 triplet). No patient developed ovarian hyperstimulation. Abortion rates were 66.7% in CC (2/3) and 100% in ultrashort cycles (1/1). The livebirth rate was 5.9% per cycle (9/152) and 7.3% per patient (9/124). There were no differences in age, duration of infertility, follicle size, total ampules of gonadotropins and days of stimulation between pregnant and non-pregnant groups. However, significant(P<0.05) differences were observed in the level of estradiol $(E_2)$ on the day of hCG injection ($3,266.6{\pm}214.2$ vs $2,202.7{\pm}139.4$ pg/ml) and total motile sperm count ($212.1{\pm}63.4$ vs $105.1{\pm}9.9\times10^6$) between pregnant group and non-pregnant group. These results suggest that IUI combined with successful ovarian stimulation tends to improve the chance of pregnancy as compared to IUI without COH and a total motile sperm count may be considered predictive of the success for pregnancy.

        Users and supplier of machine tools have developed sophisticated requirements for network system in the late nineties. New machining technologies together with the need to reduce costs and the effort to improve flexibility lead to a strong claim toward open network systems. A network system needs to be adapted quickly to new requirements without affecting quality and performance issues. For this reason the requirement of standardization is required. There are exist some kind of factory automation protocols which have there specific characteristic. In this paper described the open Factory Automation network protocol which lately developed for this purpose.

      • TAGUCHI 방법을 활용한 3D프린터의 최적출력조건 선정에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to study the dimensions of the string phenomenon and the x and y axis line widths to select the optimal output conditions for 3D printers using the taguchi method. Four variables were derived through a pre-experiment, and a total of two experiments were conducted randomly in the order of 27 combinations of experimental conditions using an orthogonal arrangement table. The optimal conditions for the string phenomenon are 85% extrusion amount, 200mm/s, 0.2mm layer height, and output temperature 180 degrees. Optimal conditions for line width x were extrusion amount 100%, moving speed 200mm/s, layer height 0.2mm, output temperature 220° line width dimensions y, extrusion amount 85%, moving speed 150mm/s, layer height 0.25mm, output temperature 220°, and subsequent experiments showed optimum extrusion amount 90%, moving speed 200mm/s, output temperature 0.15mm, layer height.
