        The method of finite element analysis is modified in this study to predict the material nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete structure more properly. It is difficult to predict the behavior of reinforced concrete structure due to the development of concrete crack, the behavior of compressive failure, bond properties between concrete and steel, and shear resistance. To predict the material nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete structure more properly, the stress-strain relationship of confined concrete which proposed by Attard, Setunge is considered. Also, shear retention model is considered. To prove the efficiency of the analysis, analytical results are compared to experimental results.

        변형소둔한 극저탄소강의 결정립 성장 및 자성 해석

        The effects of the grain size on the magnetic properties in IF steel after strain annealing were investigated. A 92.5% cold rolled and annealed IF steel sheet was temper rolled by 0.4% reduction in thickness and subsequently strain annealed at the temperature ranging between 670℃ and 950℃ for various time periods. The grains after strain annealing became more coarse than those after primary annealing. The grains were coarsened due to the strain induced grain boundary migration(SIGM). It was found that the permeability increased and coercivity decreased with the increase of grain size. The optimum magnetic properties was achieved after strain annealing at 850℃ for 30 min. Under this condition, the coercivity was measured to be 0.6Oe and the maximum permeability was 13000, also sound that the optimum grain size was 83 μm.

        One of the simple multibed PSA processes is a three-bed adsorption process which simultaneously includes pressure equalization step, pressurization step using high-pressure product, production step, blowdown step, and a purge step in a cyclic state. Pressure equalization step reduces the loss of feed gas component arising from the depressurization and desorption. In this study, pressure equalization step was studied for local equilibrium model for the separation of hydrogen and carbon dioxide on the molecular sieve 5A and activated carbon. Pressure equalization level after the pressure equalization step was continuously increased as increase of the initial pressure ratio of the two beds. The results of this study would be useful in predicting and calculating the pressure equalization level using different models concerning the transfer phenomena.

      • 기계적 처리와 금속촉매 오존산화에 의한 슬러지 감량화

        This research investigated the effect of mechanical pretreatment and ozone/catalytic oxidation on the reduction of sewage sludge. The pretreatment process was carried out to enhance sludge solubilization. The degree of solubilization was evaluated based on the DR. TS 1∼4% sludge was treated by ball mil using glass beads of 1 mm in diameter with the 50% (v/v) zircon bead loading. TS 4% showed 4 times higher solubilization efficiency than that of untreated sludge. The combination of the mechanical pretreatment and ozone/catalytic oxidation(10 mg Mn/g TS) showed higher efficiency than ozone/catalytic oxidation. At the 40% solubilization efficiency of sludge achieved by using ball mill, combination treatment showed 3 times higher than control. Ozone/catalytic oxidation improved the solid reduction effectively in the lower pH, presumably due to a high production of OH radical.

      • 풍향에 따른 아파트 단지내 기체유동 및 온도 분포해석

        In this study, velocity and temperature profiles are calculated on the apartment complex at Dunsan area in Taejon using FLUENT code based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Input weather conditions which maximum atmospheric is 38.6℃, wind speed is 1.7m/sec, wind direction is west-south-west and maximum wall of apartment is 58.0℃ in summer are used to calculate the results. The simulation results are as follow ; First. velocity vectors at vertical cross section of apartment complex are influenced by the thermal buoyancy force in hot wall of apartment due to weak wind speed in the case of wind direction : west-south-west, south-west, west. Second, temperature profiles at vertical cross section of apartment complex are strongly influenced by the wind direction. Atmospheric temperature in wide area is higher 1℃ in south-west wind direction than west wind direction. Calculation results show that island in enormous apartment complex in summer. Third, temperature profiles at horizontal cross section of apartment complex present wider and more definite high temperature area than at vertical cross section of apartment complex according to wind direction. This consequence shows the effect of convective heat transfer in the rear heated wall of apartment is dominant by solar radiation. Fourth, It is necessary that an arrangement of apartments with a view of wind direction and distance of each apartments to reduce heat island in apartment and industrial factory complex in the condition of same apartment direction and area capacity. And an arrangement of apartments considering wind direction is able to enhance convective heat transfer between heated wall and wind.

        중산간 농업용 만운저수지의 수질환경특성

        농촌지역의 도시화와 산업화에 따라 농촌 수질환경의 오염이 심화되고 있다. 경북 안동의 중산간지대에 위치한 만운저수지는 유역면적 23.8 km², 수표면적 0.4 km², 저수량 2.0×10^(6)m³의 부영양화 된 중규모 농업용저수지로서 1999년 수질환경특성조사를 실시하여 오염된 유사 농업용 저수지의 수질특성이해에 중요한 자료로 활용하고자 하였다. 만운저수지의 수질에 영향을 미치는 유역면적값(DA)/호수면적값(SA)의 비가 56.1로 국내 다른 농업용 저수지보다 높게 나타나 유역의 오염물질 부하가 높은 편이며, 평균 수심과 관련된 유효저수량(ST, m³)/수표면적(SA, m²) 비는 4.79로서 안동호, 팔당호보다 낮고 삽교담수호 등과 비슷한 값을 보여주어 부영양화의 잠재성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 만운저수지의 수질조사결과 COD는 11.1 mg/L, 총질소 1.426 mg/L로 환경기준중 생활환경 Ⅳ등급인 농업용수 수질기준을 초과하였으며, 총인은 0.093 mg/L로 Ⅳ등급의 수질을 나타내고 있었다. 유입하천은 총질소(1.426~3.809 mg/L)가 비교적 높게 나타나고 있어 총질소에 기준한 수질개선 방안이 요구되었다. 식물성플랑크톤 조사결과 Oscillatoria와 근연종인 Lyngbya가 우점하였으며, 둥물성플랑크톤은 대부분의 지역에서 적조현상을 일으키는 와편모충인 Gynmodinium spp., 암색편모충인 Cryptomonas spp.이 우점하였다. 부영양화도지수(TSI)를 이용한 1999년도의 시기별 영양상태 변화는 9월에 과부영양상태를 보었으며, 연도별 TSI_(M)지수는 '96년, ‘97년에 부영양, '98년의 과영양으로 영양상태가 증가하였으나, 강우가 다소 많았던 '99년에는 강우의 영향으로 다소 개선되어 나타났다. 결론적으로, 저수지의 물리구조적 유역특성 및 수리학적 특성상 만운저수지는 부영양화에 취약한 특성을 가지고 있으며, 강우량에 영향을 받고는 있으나 전반적으로 부영양화도가 증가하는 추세를 보인다. 따라서, 이와 같은 추세변화를 정확히 인식하고 그에 적절한 대책을 마련하기 위해 농업용수 수질측정망 운영이 상당히 중요하게 인식되어지며, 수질환경 특성을 감안한 합리적 운영이 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다. Manun Reservoir, located in Andong district, has the capacity of 2 million tons in irrigation water supply with the drainage area of 23.8 km². Manua Reservoir is over fifty year old, and shallow in depth. The ratio of drainage area (DA) to reservoir surface area (SA) as an effective physical parameter on water quality was 56.1 and was higher than those of other agricultural reservoirs. The ratio of reservoir storage (ST) to SA in Manun Reservoir was 4.79, and the mean depth was below 8 m. Both ratios of DS/SA, total area (TA)/ST and ST/SA in Manua Reservoir were relatively higher than those in other agricultural reservoir and natural lakes in Korea. These physical parameters in Manun Reservoir, however, had a eutropic potential significance. Average of COD, TN, and TP in Manun Reservoir were 11.1 mg/L, 1.426 mg/L, 0.093 mg/L, respectively. In the inflow stream of Manun Reservoir, the TN (1.426~3.809 mg/L) was higher than those in reservoir. Only Lyngbya spp. was dominant in phytoplankton for this study period, and Gymnodinium spp., Peridinium spp., and Cryptomonas spp. were dominant in zooplankton. According to the Carlson's trophic status index, Manua Reservoir was eutrophic in 1996, 1997, and 1999, and hypertrophic in 1998.

        Bortezomib과 Dexamthasone으로 치료한 골수외 형질세포종 4예

        Despite the use of aggressive local and systemic treatment including autologous stem cell transplantation in multiple myeloma, extramedullary recurrences are common and the prognosis of these patients is poor. Many novel drugs such as thalidomide, lenalidomide and bortezomib improve the response of treatment of multiple myeloma, but some reports failed to describe thalidomide has effect in extramedullary plasmacytoma. Recent data report on the successful treatment plasmacytomas with bortezomib in patients with advanced multiple myeloma. We treated 4 relapsed or refractory extramedullary plasmacytomas with bortezomib at our institution. We recognized all these extramedullary plasmacytomas decreased and showed more than partial response. This report lends support to the efficacy of bortezomib in the treatment of plasmacytoma and describes the safe use of bortezomib. Responses may, however, be of short duration. Therefore, despite our limited experience, we propose that bortezomib may be considered a therapeutic option for such patients who have risk of radiation therapy

      • 효소와 기계적 전처리에 의한 슬러지 저감에 관한 연구

        The effective removal of sewage sludge is very wmportant, due to a lot of generation, environmental hai mful effects. This study was carried out to be effective pretreatment of cell rupture. The purpose of sludge pretreatment in this study was that microorganism cell walls of sewage sludge were ruptured by biochemical and mechanical treatment for sewage sludge reduction. the soluble chemical oxygen demand and solubility of sewage sludge gradually were increased with SDS, lysozyme and EDTA dose. Also treatment of combined lysozyme with SDS or EDTA more increase of SCOD concentration than singy' treatment method. The sludge cells and floc were disrupted by homogenizer and biochemical pretreatment resulting in the increase of SCOD concentration and microscopic observation. We have observed that higher solubility of sewage sludge cloud be obtained through pretreatment of combination homogenizer with enzyme.

      • 혐기성소화에서 Aeration에 의한 수소생성에 관한 연구

        Hydrogen gas was continuously produced by treating glucose-containing synthetic wastewater with sewage digester sludge. This research investigated the effect of aeration on biological hydrogen production in anaerobic digestion process. Aeration of 0.8, 2.5, 5, 10, 20 L-O₂/g-SS were used. After aeration, the batch reactor at 35℃ was operated on a mineral salts-glucose(20g/L). The maximum hydrogen production rate of 570 ml/L-area. was found at oxygen dosage of 5 L-O₂/g-SS and pH uncontrolled. When the reactor was controlled at pH 5.5 with 6N Noah and 4N CHI, hydrogen production rate is 3 times higher than that of the control.
