        In this study, the researches classifying the natural flaws in welding parts are performed using the signal pattern classification method. For this purpose 500MHz storage digital oscilloscope including FFT function and enveloped waveform generator are used and the signal pattern recognition procedure is made up the digital signal processing, feature extraction, feature selection and classifier design. Specially it is composed with and discussed using the distance classifier is based in euclidean distance the empirical Bayesian classifier. In feature extracting, it is performed using the class-mean scatter criteria. And the signal Pattern classification method is applied to the signal pattern recognition problems of natural flaw that is porosity inclusion, slag inclusion, lack of penetration, lack of fusion. center crack, side crack, toe crack. root crack as the planar and volumetric flaw classification problem. According to this results, if appropriately learned the neural network classifier is better acquire the recognition rate of 86.31% above through it is different a little according to domain extracting the feature and the classifier

        직장 내 성희롱 실태 및 법적 규제에 대한 조사 연구

        This study seeks to explore the actual state of sexual harassment in the workplace as well as workers' perceptions and attitudes toward its legal regulation. It concludes in a discussion of the effective means to ensure the prevention and elimination of sexual harassment in the workplace. Based on the results of a survey conducted among 425 males and females employed in 70 companies with between 300 to 1,000 employees in Seoul, predominantly public sector with a number of private sector companies, this study shows that the incidence of sexual harassment is higher in the public, rather than private sector. The study also revealed that the most frequent types of sexual harassment experienced include obscene jokes, unwelcome sexual comments about a person's appearance, staring at certain parts of the body, and the display of pornographic materials. Women workers also report that they are often forced to attend to the food and beverage needs of male coworkers or supervisors against their will during social gatherings after work. These types of sexual harassment usually occur in ordinary daily situations rendering it difficult to recognize the harasser's intention of sexual harassment. The practical acceptance of the prohibition of sexual harassment behaviors by employees is significantly lower, than the high level of understanding of the kinds of behavior that are legally recognized as constituting sexual harassment. The recognition of certain behaviors as sexual harassment among male workers is lower than that among their female counterparts, indicating that perceptions of sexual harassment among men and women differ markedly. The results of the study also indicate that the greater men's knowledge of the sexual harassment behaviors prohibited by the law and their acknowledgement of the legal prohibition of such harassment, the less likely they are to sexually harass their co-workers.

        직업인으로서의 과학기술자 및 여성 과학기술자, 그리고 역할모델에 대한 중·고등학생들의 인식 조사

        본 연구에서는 이공계 위기를 극복하고 또한 여학생의 이공계 진출을 위한 방안 모색의 기초 자료로서, 중고등 학생을 대상으로 직업인으로서 과학기술자에 대한 인식, 여성의 이공계열 진학 및 과학기술 관련 직업을 갖는 것에 대한 인식, 그리고 국내외의 남녀과학기술자의 인지도와 존경하는 남녀과학기술자를 조사하였다. 조사 결과, 직업인으로서의 과학기술자에 대한 고등학생들의 인식은 긍정적이라고 볼 수 있으나, 대학 전공과 직업 선택에 대한 관심이 보다 구체화되는 2학년이 1학년보다 그리고 이러한 부정적 인식을 자신의 일로 심각하게 고려할 가능성이 높은 이학공학정보과정 학생이 인문사회어문과정 학생보다 부정적 인식이 높다. 또한 여학생의 이공계 진학과 여성 과학기술자에 대한 인식도 전반적으로 긍정적이었으나 문항에 따라 인식에 차이가 있었는데, 남학생과 여학생 모두 '여성의 사고나 신체적 차이로 인한 이공계 진학의 부적합성'에 대해서는 동의하는 정도가 낮았지만, '취업과 근무조건 등 비교적 현실적 측면'을 반영하는 항목에 대해서는 상대적으로 부정적 의식이 높게 나타났다. 국내외의 남녀과학기술자의 인지도는 남성과학기술자에 비해 여성과학기술자, 특히 여성과학기술자 중에서도 국내 여성과학기술자에 대한 인지도가 훨씬 낮게 나타났다. 또한 높은 비율의 여학생들이 존경하는 여성 과학기술자의 상을 갖지 못하고 있었다. The purpose of this study is to identify various issues contributing to the current issues of students not wanting to major in science and engineering, and further explore various strategies to encourage their higher education in the science and engineering area. The study administered survey on students' perception towards the science related profession including respondents' gender, grade, their attitude towards woman scientists, perception on the woman scientists, scientists as profession, their level of knowledge on the scientists, and if there is any they respect. The results indicated that overall perceptions on the scientists as career for high school students was positive. but there was more negative acceptance for the juniors since they are more concerned with their majors at the university; higher for students who are in the natural science area than the ones in the social science school since they are more directly related than others. The perception on the woman scientists and girls in the science and engineering majors was positive. However. there were some differences in the response level among the items. Among these. considering the job availability and conditions, the perception was more negative than the others. Also the result indicated that both boys and girls disagree that the science-related profession may be gender-inappropriate for girls due to physical and cognitive characteristics. Results also indicated the level of awareness among scientists, they had higher awareness for male scientists than that of the female, and also international ones than the national ones. And many girls did not have positive image of a successful woman scientists.

      • Cross-species amplification of newly developed Fagopyrum microsatellites across wild species

        There are about 16 species included in Fagopyrum (Polygonaceae) genus and some of them have been found recently and named. Fagopyrum genus is generally divided into two major groups: cymosum and urophyllum group. This study is to analyze the genetic diversity of Fagopyrum genus, to compare with the phylogeny result of Fagopyrim using previous analysis results, and to provide the information of each species specific marker by executing the cross-amplification on 3 species and 2 sub-species among cymosum group and 5 species among urophyllum using 136 SSR markers newly developed from common buckwheat. Cluster analysis using UPGMA showed two main clusters, each of the cymosum and urophyllum group. This result agree well with the previous findings on species relationships in Fagopyrum using different method approachs. In cross species amplification, our results revealed significant transferability of F. esculentum microsatellites to the 4 cymosum species (96.3% in F. esculentum ssp. Ancestral, 61.0% in F. tataricum ssp. tataricum, 36.0% in F. tataricum ssp. potanini, 97.1% in F. homotropicum). However, the percentage of 136 SSR markers were amplified in the urophyllum species (50.7% in F. urophyllum, 50% in F. lineare, 60.3% in F. leptopodum, 66.9% in F. capillatum, 66.2% in F. gracilipes) was lower than cymosum species, except F. tataricum. In addition, we identified 61 species specific markers among each species. These results demonstrate wide potential applicabilityof these markers for the study of inter-specific genetic diversity as well as evolutionary relationships among cultivated and wild buckwheat.

        Diversity Capturing Comparison by Combinations among Clustering Methods, Allocation Strategies, and Sampling Strategies in Establishment Core-Sets of Mungbean (Vigna radiata) Germplasm Preserved in NAC Genebank

        1. 세계 26개국에서 도입된 녹두 유전자원 705점에 대하여16개의 형태적 형질 특성을 이용하여 각각 두 가지의 군집방법, 핵심집단 자원수 결정방법 및 표본추출 방법을 조합하여 총8개의 핵심집단(SUNPR, SUNPPr, UNPR, UNPPr, SUNLR, SUNLPr, UNLR, UNLPr)을 작성하여 원수집단과 비교한바 8개핵심집단 모두 원수집단과는 분산과 평균치에서 차이가 없었다. 2. Nei의 다양성지수는 8개 핵심집단 모두 원수집단 보다높았고, 특히 UNLPr이 가장 높았으며, UNPR은 다른 핵심집단에 비하여 상대적으로 낮은 지수를 보였다. 3. 원수집단과 핵심집단간 자원분포의 동질성을 파악하기 위하여 카이자승 검증을 한 결과 12개 양적형질과 1개의 질적형질(종피색)은 모든 핵심집단이 동질분포를 보였으나 3개의질적 형질 (배축색, 종피광택, 생육습성)은 핵심집단에 따라서동질분포를 하는 것과 그렇지 않은 것이 있었으며, 8개 핵심집단 중 UNPPr은 동질성이 가장 높았다. 평균차율(MD%)과일치율(CR%)은 8개 핵심집단 모두 유의한 수준을 보였다. 4. 8개의 모든 핵심집단이 원수집단과 평균치에서 차이가 없고, 높은 다양성을 과 동질한 분포를 보이며, 평균차율(MD%)과 일치율(CR%)이 유의한 수준을 보여 원수집단의 다양성을잘 나타내는 것으로 해석되었다. 5. 핵심수집단 크기(10%와 15%)에 따른 다양성은 유의한차이가 없었으며, 8개의 핵심집단 중 평균치, 동질분포, 일치율 및 도복내성을 고려할 때 UNPPr이 가장 좋은 핵심집단으로 사료되었다. A core collection is a subset chosen to represent the diversity of a collection with a minimum of redundancies and is established to improve the conservation and use of genetic resources. In this study, eight core subsets were established by combinations among two clustering methods (SUN, UN), two allocation strategies (P, L), and two sampling strategies (R, Pr) using morphological traits and were compared with entire collection by variance, means, Nei's diversity index, goodness of fit, the mean difference percentage (MD%), the variance difference percentage (VD%), coincidence rate (CR%), and the variable rate (VR%) of traits. The variances between entire and eight core subsets was homogeneous for all the traits of all core subsets by Levene's test both 10% and 15% sample sizes and the means between entire and 8 core subsets were found to be non-significant by Newman-Keuls test for all traits of all core subsets both 10% and 15% sample sizes. The average Nei's diversity index of the eight core subsets showed higher than the entire collection. UPGMA NTSYS Logarithmic Pragmatic (UNLPr) showed the highest average Nei's diversity index, and Logarithmic (L) allocation strategy showed higher average diversity index than Proportional (P) strategy in both 10% and 15% sample size. Frequency distribution between the entire collection and the eight core subsets using chi square test showed homogeneous distribution for 13 traits of 16 traits. The proportional allocation strategy showed relatively more homogeneous distribution than the logarithmic allocation strategy for the three qualitative traits; hypocotyl color (HC), luster on seed surface (LS), and growth habit (GH). All the core subsets had significant values of MD% and CR%. Although decrease of VD% and increase of CR% according to sample size increase from 10% to 15%, there was no significant difference between 10% and 15% sample size. Considering all parameters such as means, homogeneous distribution, VD%, CR%, average lodging tolerance, and bruchid resistance, UNPPr is the best among eight core subsets. Present result suggested that with regardless of clustering methods, if group size can be adjusted according to group diversity and utility, better core subset will be established so that original purposes of effective utilization and enhancement of the genetic diversity will be increased.

      • Analysis of population structure and genetic diversity in Rubus species using SSR markers

        The genus Rubus belongs to the Rosaceae family and is comprised of 600-800 species distributed worldwide. Understanding the genetic relationships and genetic structure in Rubus species is important for enabling efficient management, conservation, characterization and utilization of the species. However, as a minor crop, genetic research foundation was limited to explore genetic diversity and relationships in Rubus species. The present study shows the results of application SSR markers that were developed from SSR-enriched libraries of the one Rubus species (Rubus coreanus Mique.) in our previous study. We used 34 polymorphic microsatellite markers to analysis of genetic diversity within the Rubus species, including redraspberry, blackraspberry, blackberry and mountainberry. All the 34 SSR primers pairs produced 483 polymorphic and reproducible amplification fragments. The largest number of alleles per primer pair was confirmed at GB-RC-167, GB-RC-100, GB-RC-076 and GB-RC-245, which contained 26, 25, 23 and 21, respectively. An average value of polymorphic information contents (PIC) were 0.74 with a range of 0.36 to 0.92. Population structure and phylogenetic analyses showed that all Rubus species formed three largely distinct clusters, which were confirmed by principal coordinate analysis (PCoA). We obtained the results that the developed SSR markers showed a substantial degree of genetic diversity in the various Rubus species distributed in Korea.
