        '스마트 러닝'의 개념화와 교수학습전략 탐색 : 대학에서의 활용을 중심으로

        스마트 시대의 도래에 따라 스마트 폰과 소셜 미디어와 같은 스마트 테크놀러지의 교육적 활용에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며 이를 이용한 학습을 ‘스마트 러닝’이라 부르고 있다. 하지만 아직까지 ‘스마트 러닝’이라고 하면 단순히 스마트 기기를 활용하여 이루어지는 학습을 의미하며 연구자들간에 ‘스마트 러닝’에 대한 정의 및 특징에 대한 합의가 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 소셜 미디어, 스마트 폰 등을 활용한 국내외 대학의 다양한 교육적 실험 및 수업 사례와 더불어 관련된 이론적 논의를 종합하여 ‘스마트 러닝’에 대해 개념적으로 정의하고 학문적 논의를 위한 이론적 틀을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 ‘스마트 러닝’을 ‘스마트 기기 및 소셜 미디어를 활용하여 학습에서의 상호작용을 극대화한 학습으로서 형식학습과 비형식학습의 융합, 강화된 실재감, 학습의 외연적 확대, 앱 기반의 다양한 학습활동이 이루어지는 학습환경’으로 정의하고 이론적 틀로는 사회적구성주의, 사회적 실재감, 사회적 관계 자본, 게임화이론을 제시하였다. 이러한 개념화와 이론적 틀에 기초하여 ‘스마트 러닝’의 교수학습전략을 탐색하고 주요 원칙들을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 향후 본격적인 ‘스마트 러닝’의 학문적, 이론적 논의를 위한 토대의 역할을 할 것으로 기대되며 구체적으로 교육현장에서 ‘스마트 러닝’의 수업 모형 개발 및 적용을 위한 기초 연구로서 의의가 있다. The rapid development and implementation of smart technology (eg., smart phones and social media) in every aspect of society lead to the generation of new learning environments applying those technologies in education, called ‘smart learning.’ The definition of smart learning, however, along with diverse cases and researches on it, is still in its actively evolving process, while some attempts to its definition are titled slightly to the technology-oriented over its pedagogy. In this context, this study aimed to identify the theoretical framework and teaching & learning strategies of smart learning according to two directions of research: 1) to analyze the previously conducted case studies of smart learning; 2) to review theoretical frameworks to explain the current activities of diverse smart learning cases. The results were presented with a list of teaching and learning strategies of the smart learning. The results of this study are expected to be used in developing a new learning model called Smart Learning which would embody the integration of both technologies and practices(pedagogy) of web 2.0 in real teaching and learning environments.

      • Development of a Public Service based on Service Design Process

        Objective: This research is a case study of a consumer oriented public service with the service design process. The research has utilized the case of “Eye Tracking Mouse for People with Disabilities” which is a public welfare project from the KODDI (Korea Disabled People’s Development Institute) to distribute the mouse to the consumers to use. The research develops a new process for the eye-tracking mouse distribution service from the service design perspective and the goal is to develop and apply the new public service process concept from the outcome analysis. Method: DesignDIVE which is a crowd sourced Service Design Workshop that gather people from various fields and through collaboration with stakeholders has developed a new product and service model concept. In order for the participants of the workshop to spend the time efficiently, the core people on this project pre-researched the stakeholders to develop a framework for the workshop and this framework is utilized within each team to co-create Service design output. Conclusion: In conclusion, this new public service process, includes the service users’ experiences early on, so that the comprehensive requirements can be defined; thus, the service concepts have taken not only the product upgrade but to include delivery system, education, and the stakeholder’s circumstances into account. Therefore, this public service process definitely needs to include the service design, which is user-centric and includes all stakeholders and collaborates with people to come up with the creative solutions. Application: In this case, the project is showcased by Service design Workshop, if the same process can be applied to the public service or the legislation process more formally, it seems that professional establishment of public service process can be developed in depth. We hope this can become an important methodology for improving the quality of life for all stakeholders including the consumers and providers.

        The purpose of this article is to study the Zapatista movement, which exploded on January 1st, 1994 in the southernmost Mexican state of Chiapas, utilizing an anthropological approach. In order to deal with the limits of macro-level discourse as a data source for analyzing and understanding the logic of practice in social movements like Zapatistas, this paper is aimed at exploring the relevance of an anthropological approach to bridge the gap between the social reality and practice in social movements research.

        Provisioning service, which is one of the ecosystem service functions, means goods and services such as food and fuel that people get from ecosystem. Provisioning functions are closely related to the primary industry, a sector of economy. Excessive demand and use of human society can cause trade-offs among regulation, cultural, and supporting services. Therefore, it is important to perform evaluation ecosystem services periodically and to monitor the time series fluctuations to identify the impact of provisioning services on other ecosystem services (trade-off) and to maintain sustainable provisioning service. When it comes to the precise assessment of provisioning service, it is necessary to get the statistical data and standardize indicators and methods. In this study, indicators and methods, which are applicable to the spatial level of national-local-protected areas, were derived through literature analysis and expert survey. The result of this study implies that provisioning services measurement by spatial level improve the efficiency of the establishment of environmental conservation plans by whose purpose.

      • Syntheses and photovoltaic properties of 6-(2-thienyl)-4<i>H</i>-thieno[3,2-<i>b</i>]indole based conjugated polymers containing fluorinated benzothiadiazole

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In this report, a series of copolymers based on 6-(2-thienyl)-4<I>H</I>-thieno[3,2-<I>b</I>]indole (TTI) as an electron-rich unit and fluorinated DTBT as an electron-deficient unit were synthesized, namely <B>PTTIF1</B> and <B>PTTIF2</B>, and applied to photovoltaic devices. TTI unit was coupled with fluorinated DTBT to utilize the merit of introduction of fluorine atom leading to the lowering of the HOMO energy level while keeping high planarity of the conjugated backbone.</P> <P>The synthesized copolymers show a noticeable change in HOMO energy levels as compared with non-fluorinated polymer (PTTIDTBT-<I>h</I>). Optimized photovoltaic devices of <B>PTTIF2</B> exhibited power conversion efficiency of 4.36% with decent <I>J</I> <SUB>SC</SUB> and <I>FF</I> values, which can be explained by the higher charge transporting ability of <B>PTTIF2</B> with preferable face-on crystallite population than <B>PTTIF1</B> in grazing incident wide-angle X-ray scattering (GIWAXS).</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> The series of 6-(2-Thienyl)-4<I>H</I>-thieno[3,2-<I>b</I>]indole -based polymers were synthesized. </LI> <LI> The polymers exhibited deep HOMO energy levels due to the strong electron-withdrawing ability of fluorine atom. </LI> <LI> The optimal device performance reached a power conversion efficiency of 4.36%. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

        Measuring the Effectiveness of an Ecosystem Service to Regulate Air Quality in Wetland, South Korea

        This study aimed to verify the suitability of an air quality regulating service for wetland ecosystem service evaluation by investigating the effect of reducing particulate matter (PM) on vegetation in wetlands. We installed tunnel-type experimental plots at Yonghwasil Pond in the National Institute of Ecology and set up the input and output of PM by applying the natural vegetation of the relevant wetlands. We took measurements by replicating four different conditions four times each. The air quality regulating service in each experimental plot was measured based on PM10 concentration; further, the difference between the input and the output concentration of PM passing through the Phragmites australis community tunnel was measured using a light scattering method. For the Phragmites australis community in the outdoor conditions and bare land, the PM concentration was measured with the same specifications as tunnel-type experimental plots without setting up the input and output. For the tunnel-type experimental plots, PM10 concentration was significantly lower in the output than in the input. Furthermore, in the outdoor conditions, a comparison between the Phragmites australis community and bare land showed that the concentration was relatively low in the former than in the latter. This confirmed the PM reducing effect due to the blockage and absorption of PM depending on the growth of Phragmites australis. Based on the results of this study, we assessed the air quality regulating service in wetlands as an evaluation indicator.

        라틴아메리카 사회주의 운동 연구

        The purpose of this article is to review the socialist movement, which can be considered as an anti-capitalist ideological foundation, and as a practical concept based on the specific historical background and socio-economic conditions of Latin America as part of a region called the Third World. Generally, in the past socialism was understood as a movement, in which the working class are playing a major role. It was a ‘scientific’ belief that the essential limitations of the capitalist system lead to its inevitable collapse, and the theoretical direction and possibilities of the socialist revolution were suggested. It was a practical theory to conceptualize the extreme and destructive social phenomena that the capitalist order produces, which was the reason why socialist ideologies were developed around the UK and Western Europe where the capitalist industrialization had initiated an earlier development. In this study, I examine the Latin American socialist movement, distinguished from that of Western Europe through Samir Amin"s theory of periphery, analyzing the cause and nature of the Cuban Socialist Revolution.

        비대면 환경에서의 메이커교육 수업 설계를 위한 체크리스트 개발

        4차 산업혁명에 따른 급변하는 교육환경에서 메이커교육은 하나의 대안으로 논의되며, 정부의 정책적 지원 하에 다양한 메이커교육이 활발하게 진행되어왔다. 그러다 갑작스럽게 등장한 COVID-19로 인하여 메이커교육 역시 비대면 환경에서 이루어지게 되었다. 그러면서 비대면 환경에서도 메이커 정신을 목표로 하는 메이커교육으로서의 방향성을 유지하기 위한 도전이 주어지게 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 ‘비대면 환경에서의 메이커교육 수업설계’에 필요한 체크리스트를 개발함으로써, 이러한 도전에 대한 하나의 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 문헌연구를 통해 비대면 학습 환경의 특징과 메이커교육의 특징을 정리하여 체크리스트의 초안을 만들고, 이를 현재 현장에서 비대면 메이커교육을 실시하고 있는 5인의 강사들의 피드백을 받아, 체크리스트의 최종안을 개발하였다. 이를 통해, 앞으로도 당분간 비대면 환경에서 메이커교육이 실시되어야 할 상황에서, 메이커 정신에 입각한 메이커교육수업의 특성과 목표는 유지하면서도 비대면 학습 환경의 특성을 효과적으로 반영할 수 있는 학습 환경 및 전략 요소를 갖춘 수업으로 개발, 진행되어 메이커교육의 지속적인 진행과 확장적 적용에 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다. Maker education has recently been actively practiced under strong governmental support as a nation-wide policy for innovative education, which now had to confront the unexpected challenge and crisis of ‘contactless educational environments’ due to COVID-19 pandemic. In this context, this study aimed to develop a checklist needed for developing ‘contactless maker education program’ which still continues to maintain ‘maker mindsets’ as the goal and direction of maker education, since maker education has been regarded as an alternative educational environment suitable for the 4th industrial revolution age. For this purpose, this study first conducted literature review related to maker education and contactless (i.e. online) education environments, from which several characteristics of the contactless maker education have been extracted. And then, 5 maker education instructors currently conducting the contactless maker education programs in various settings provided feedback on the developed checklist draft, which actually became the final version of the checklist. Considering the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, the checklist for the contactless Maker education might be helpful in preventing to diminish or reduce the educational values and active application of maker education.

        '성찰저널(Reflective Journal)'이 지닌 교육적 의미에 대한 탐구 : 대학에서의 수업사례

        This study aimed to examine the educational implications of reflective journal in two aspects: 1) After categorizing the contents or themes included in the reflective journals, to analyze how the students' concerns shift over the whole semester; 2) to verify the 3rd and 4th stage of Kolb's learning cycle through the content analysis of the reflective journals. For this purpose, this study conducted a PBL class in an University, in which the participant students had submitted their reflective journals 10 times after each class over the semester. And their reflective journals were analyzed according to a content analysis method as one of qualitative research methods. As the results of this study, the content categories of reflective journal were classified into four areas(i.e., reflection on learning environments, their identity as learners, what and how they've learned, and how to practice on their real life) and also have shifted their focus over the semester, while both the stages of ‘generalization’ and ‘implication’ in the Kolb's learning cycles were clearly detected from the reflective journals of the students. The study, therefore, reconfirmed the educational importance and value of reflective journal as a learning activity and evaluation tool which provide meaningful experiences of being ‘reflective practitioners’ for the students.
