Reagent Cabinet Management System Using Danger Priority
Cao, Kerang,Kang, Inshik,Choi, Hyungwook,Jung, Hoekyung The Korea Institute of Information and Commucation 2017 Journal of information and communication convergen Vol.15 No.4
Recently, as the number of safety accidents caused by reagents increases, researches on a system that can reduce safety accidents are underway. Existing systems managed reagent cabinet through various sensors. On the other hand, there are disadvantages in that countermeasures against simultaneous danger situations are insufficient at multi-reagents cabinet. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a system to manage the reagents cabinet through danger priority. Danger priorities are selected through domestic chemical accident cases and the Chemical Safety Management Act. If a danger situation occurs in the reagent cabinet, make sure it is from a single or multiple reagent cabinets. For multiple reagent cabinets, compare the reagent cabinet priorities and run the device sequentially from the reagent cabinet with the highest priority. Thus, by operating the device according to the danger priority, the chain reaction can be prevented in advance and the reagent cabinet can be safely managed.

Sarcoidosis is a systemic granulomatous disorder of unknown etiology characterized by granuloma formation. Due to the limited incidence of sarcoidosis in pediatric patients, little is known about the clinical course of this disease. A combination of clinical, radiologic, and pathologic examination is necessary to exclude other differential diagnoses (i.e., infection and granulomatous inflammatory disorder) and establish a diagnosis of sarcoidosis. Here, we report a case of histologically confirmed sarcoidosis initially misdiagnosed as hepatosplenic abscesses in an 11-year-old male. Treatment with corticosteroids improved his symptoms and resolved his skin and hepatosplenic lesions. A three-year follow-up was uneventful. This study emphasizes the importance of considering sarcoidosis in children presenting with findings of multi-organ involvement in the presence of histologic evidence of granuloma.

Graphene was synthesized using rapid thermal chemical vapor deposition (RT-CVD) equipment designed to produce largeareagraphene at high speed. The effects of methane (CH4), argon (Ar), and hydrogen (H2) gases were investigated between800 oC and 1,000 oC during heating and cooling in the graphene synthesis process. The findings reveal that multilayer domainsincreased due to hydrogen pretreatment with increase in temperature. Furthermore, when pretreated with the same gas, it wasconfirmed that the post-argon-treated sample cooled from 1,000 oC to 800 oC had a higher ID/IG value than that of the othersamples. This result was consistent with the sheet resistance properties of graphene. The sample prepared in methaneatmosphere maintained during both the pre-treatment and post-treatment demonstrated the lowest sheet resistance of 787.49Ω/sq. Maintaining the methane gas atmosphere in the high-temperature region during graphene synthesis by RT-CVD reducedthe defects and improved the electrical property.

Objectives Isolated Transverse Process Fracture(ITPF) is a rare traumatic spinal disease that has been fractured in transverse process alone in vertebra. This study reports the effectiveness of Korean medicine treatment in ITPF patient. Methods The patient was treated with acupuncture, pharmacopuncture and herbal medicine for 28 days. EuroQol-5 dimension index(EQ-5D), Numerical rating scale(NRS), Oswestry disability index(ODI), lumbar Range of motion(ROM) were used for assessment. Results After treatment, NRS for low back pain decreased from 5 to 2. EQ-5D improved from 0.215 to 0.76, ODI from 82 to 31.11 and lumbar ROM also improved. Conclusions This case shows that Korean medicine treatment can be considered as effective treatment for ITPF.
