This study has some useful information about washout water from the small scale incinerator, installed in Chosun university. The results are as follows; 1. The concentration of SS has 65.2㎎/ℓ after being screened by micro strainer. 2. Alum(10% as Al_(2)O_(3) : 3㎖/ℓA-601P 4㎖/ℓ was added in pH 7.5 for coagulating screened washout water. The removal rate after carrying chemical coagulation turned out to be 85.8% in SS, 45.4% in CODMn, 64.5% in BOD with concentration 9.1㎎/ℓ ,93.5㎎/ℓ and 134.8㎎/ℓ respectively. Some heavy metals were also analysed and their removal efficiency was higher than expected as below : Pb, Zn, and Fe was determined as 0.76㎎/ℓ , l.06㎎/ℓ, 2.63㎎/ℓ with removal rate of 93.7%, 86.6% and 80.6% in each item, respectively. 3. The optimum HRT for sample which is mixed with coagulated washout water and screened sewage wastewater on HBC-briquet ash complicative media was 13.4hr. Mixed sample with different rate like 1 : 1(ratio of chemically coagulated water to sewage wastewater on a half and half bases) obtained from biomembrane reactor with 13.4hr retention time, was determined value as 35㎎/ℓ (38.6% removal rate), 28.3㎎/ℓ (81.3% removal rate) and 51.7㎎/ℓ (75.7% removal rate) with respect with SS, BOD and CODMn, respectively.

Mucinous tumor are cystic tumors with loculus lined with mucin-secreting epithelium constitute approximately 8-10% of primary epithelial ovarian tumors. Of all mucinous neoplasms, 75-85% are benign. It is often reach very large size particularly with the benign counterpart being reported on occasion to have exceed 100 lbs. Malignancy develops in 5-10% of benign mucinous cysts. About 15-20% of neoplasms are bilateral. We experienced a huge ovarian mucinous tumor of 155 ㎏. measured 42 × 30 × 28 ㎝ in size, and the volume of cystic contents was about 10 L in a nulligravida 36-year-old woman. Pathologic diagnosis was moderately differentiated mucinous cystadenocarcinoma of right ovary. So, we presented with a brief review of literatures.

Monitoring of the drill wear and hole quality change is conducted during the drilling process. Cutting force measured by tool dynamometer is a evident feature estimation abnormal state of drilling. One major difficulty in using tool dynamometer is that the work-piece must be mounted on the dynamometer, and thus the machining process is disturbed and discontinuous. Acoustic transducer do not disturb the normal machining process and provide a relatively easy was to monitor a machining process for industrial application. For this advantage, AE signal is used to estimate the abnormal state. In this study vision system is used to detect flank wear tendency and hole quality, there are many formal factors in hole quality decision circularity, cylindricity, straightness, and so on, but these are difficult to measure in on-line monitoring. The movement of hole center and increasement of hole diameter is presented to determine hole quality. As the results of this experiment, AE RMS signal and measurements by vision system are shown the similar tendency as abnormal state of drilling.

Drilling is one of the most Important operations performed in the machining industry. And the material of the workpiece has a profound effect on the tool life, the surface finish produced and the overall economy of the process. Hot-rolled high strength steels have been used for automobile structural material, owing to high hardness and machinability of the material. However, in the drilling of hot-rolled high strength steels, the current knowledges of tool wear and machinability are insufficient. Therefore, it is desirable to monitor drill wear status and hole quality changes during the hole drilling process. Accordingly, this paper deals with the cutting characteristics of the hot-rolled high strength steels using common HSS drill. The performance variables include the drilling thrust, torque and drill wear data obtained from drilling experiments conducted on the workpiece. Also drill wear is measured by acoustic emission system and computer vision system.

The cutting tests of wood patterns are carried out using CNC milling machine. The cutting forces and surface characteristics of machined surface are investigated at various cutting conditions such as spindle speed, feed speed, cutting direction of wood pattern and wood material. In the CNC end-milling, the surface roughness increases as feed speed increases and decreases as spindle speed increases. However, the cutting force and surface roughness are different along the cutting direction and material of wood pattern.
Development of Sunlight LED Bollard Based on C/GFRP Floodlight Composite

<P>It is safe and light because it uses carbon/glass fiber reinforced plastics (hereinafter referred to as C/GFRP) through this technological development. Moreover, sunlight LED luminous bollard, which was harmonized with the surrounding environment with diverse colors, was developed. Luminous bollard can reduce its weight and also increase its strength by adjusting the intensity and thickness of a product customized for each usage on the basis of the characteristics of C/GFRP composite. In addition, C/GFRP and steel pipe were compared for the compression test in order to compare the objective rigidity. As a result, this study could obtain a positive result graph of luminous bollard. To develop luminous bollard, the composite development process was configured through a fixture of pullout and filament winding. Diverse colors can be applied to luminous bollard. Hence, it is possible to select a color customized for each region. It is also possible to create an aesthetic harmony with a surrounding environment through LED lamps at night. The pipe, which was 50 percent lighter than stainless and also which had excellent tensile strength, was designed to develop the bollard that has superior convenience in terms of construction, maintenance and repair.</P>
