        청간소요산으로 호전된 설통 환자 3례

        Objectives: This clinical study reports the effects of Cheonggansoyo-san (CSS) on three patients with glossodynia. Methods: Three patients with glossodynia were treated with CSS (i.e., an herbal medicine) and acupuncture. Numeric rating scales (NRSs) for glossodynia and dry mouth and hwa-byung questionnaire scores were evaluated, and the results from heart rate variability (HRV) evaluations were analyzed. Results: After treatment with CSS, three patients' glossodynia symptoms, such as burning sensations, tingling, and numbness of the tongue, were improved. NRS ratings for glossodynia and dry mouth and the hwa-byung questionnaire scores also improved, and HRV parameters were closer to the normal range. Conclusion: Cheonggansoyo-san could be used to treat glossodynia.

      • 초음파 이송시스템의 진행파 제어에 관한 연구

        Methods of major transport system used in many industry fields are conveyor belt, magnetic levitation system and indexing system. It is an indispensable device in many fields and especially it is very important in the factory automation. However, the conventional transport system can damage precision optical components by the contact force and destroy the inner structure of semiconductor by the magnetic field. The new transport system for transporting without damage is required and the ultrasonic wave transport system has been proposed to replace the conventional transport system. In this paper. the object transport system using the ultrasonic wave is developed. Traveling waves are generated through the use of the ultrasonic wave generator to two ends of the beam. The modelling equation on steady state response of ultrasonic vibration is expressed through normal mode expansion. Natural frequency of flexural beam is estimated. Transport direction of the object is analyzed according to phase difference and frequency. In addition, it is verified by experiment.

        부산시 일개구 지역주민의 위암선별검사 수검 및 반복수검 실태 및 관련요인조사

        The importance of repeat screening for stomach cancer is well known to decrease deaths from stomach cancer. This study was aimed at assessing practice behaviors and to identify related factors in the aspects of demographic factors, health status and cancer risk recognition, attitude to cancer screening, health behaviors, and inhibiting or facilitating factors to stomach cancer screening in an urban area. Data was collected through self-administered questionnaires from 403 people aged 40 to 69 years from April 23th to May 15th, 2002. Practice behaviors were classified as :"ver"r "ver"and "peat"r "t repeat"rouped based on a recent 5 year screening history. The results were as follows: 1. Among the 403 subjects: "e ever group"as 23.8% and "e repeat group"as 4.0%. The rates of screening were 20.5% for men, 27.8% for those women, and 27.3% for aged 40-49, 24.5% for those aged 50-59, 19.0% for those aged 60-69. The rates of repeat screening were 4.0% for men, 4.1% for women, and 2.9% for those aged 40-49, 6.3% for aged 50-59, 2.5% for those aged 60-69. 2. The main factors associated with adherence to gastric cancer screening were education(post high school vs below : OR=2.44), previous cancer screening(yes vs no : OR=2.61), belief in personal health(no vs yes : OR=2.72), health status(unhealthy vs healthy : OR=3.40), possibility of cancer compared to others(low vs not low : OR=2.56), and regular exercise(yes vs no : OR=2.94). The main factor associated with adherence to gastric cancer repeat screening was other cancer screening (yes vs no : OR=6.33). Consequently, there is a need to change the recognition of the importance and necessity of stomach cancer screening in healthy conditions through health education, and to perform multiple screening tests each visit.

      • 구간 분할 제어를 이용한 형상기억합금 와이어의 온도제어에 관한 연구

        The key technology of robot is the design of the actuator. Particularly breakthroughs of power-to-weight ratio or energy-density III actuator technology have significant impacts upon the design and the control of robotic systems. To realize the anthropomorphic motion, artificial muscles such as shape memory alloy(SMA) and electro active polymer(EAP) are used. These actuators have the higher energy density than the electromechanical actuators such as the electric motor. The EAP has the property of good elasticity, but it is difficult to get the required power. The SMA has the good power density and simple structure, but the control scheme of the actuator is difficult. In this paper, temperature control of SMA wire using segment control is studied. The SMA wire is segmented by thermo-electric module(TEM). To supply constant currents in TEMs, MOSFET is used. Hysteresis in one segment of SMA wire is evaluated. The force and displacement of SMA wire are measured according to the number of segment. The program to control the temperature of TEM is developed by using LabVIEW software.

      • 롤포밍 공정에서의 성형방법에 따른 직진성 예측

        Roll forming process is one of the most widely used processes in the world for forming metals. It can manufacture goods of the uniform cross section throughout the continuous processing. However, analysis of process is very difficult because of the inherent complexity of the process. For this reason, the computer analysis methods such as the FEM(Finite Element Method) and the FDM(Finite Difference Method) are frequently used in roll forming design. In this paper, the under rail composed of upper member, center member and lower member is modeled. Also the flower pattern of the upper member is designed and the roll forming process is simulated. The upper member is designed using constant arc length forming method and constant radius forming method for excellent design. The cold rolled carbon steel sheet(SCP-l) is used in this simulation, and a flow stress equation is set up through the tensile test. Each types are simulated and compared with the longitudinal strain using SHAPE-RF software. In addition. the numerical magnitude of camber and bow is predicted from the results of the simulation.

        According to the literatual study on the external medical treatment of Menorrhalgia and Leucorrhea for gynecologic condition, the results were as follows. 1.Using external medical treatment for Menorrhalgia is to insert vagina theraphy, fumigation theraphy, to wash vagina theraphy, to insert anus theraphy, to apply hot pack theraphy and use with suppository such as BANSUKHWAN(礬石丸), SASANGZASAN(蛇床子散), KUMBONGHYUNGJU(金鳳衡珠) 2.Using external medical treatment for leucorrhea is washing and fumigation on vagina, to wash vagina, to insert vagina, cleansing theraphy and use with Suppository such as YONGYEOMGO(龍鹽膏), KAMISASANGJASAN(加味蛇床子散),SASANGSACHUNGSEJE(蛇床子洗劑). 3.ANGELICAE GIGANTIS RADIX(當歸) is in mostly general use for external medical treatment of Menorrhalgia and leucorrhea, in that order ANSU SEMEN(杏仁), EVODIAE FRUCTUS(吳茱??), TORILIS FRUCTUS(蛇床子), CORYDALIS TUBER(玄胡索), CINIAMOMI ORTEX(肉桂), CARYOPHYLLI FLOS(丁香) ALUMEN(枯白??), AQUILARIAE LIGNUM(沈香). 4.The efficacy of medicines to use external medical treatment is as follow to help circulation of blood, to warm spleen and stomach, to warm blood, to warm uterus and remove cold, to remove heat and dry moisture, to down heat-product, to contract bloodvessel, to counteract poison and destory virus, to make energy and blood. 5.KUMBONGHYUNGJU, made same size as cherry and shape vagina medicine, use for Menorrhalgia, menstural irregularity, Leucorrhea, it has the efficacy as follow to remove cold and dry moisture, to warm uterus, to help circulation and romove pain, to down moisture-heat.

      • 일개 대학병원에서 일년간 분리된 반코마이신 내성 장구균의 임상 분자역학적 연구

        목적 : 한강성심병원에서는 2000년 3월 반코마이신내성 장구균이 처음 분리되어, 원내전파를 막기 위한 노력을 하였으나, 분리가 지속되었다. 따라서 이에 대한 좀더 자세하고 객관적인 자료를 얻기 위해 본원에서 분리된 반코마이신내성 장구균에 대한 임상분자 역학적 연구를 시행하게 되었다. 방법 : 2000년 3월부터 2001년 2월까지 한림대학교 한강성심병원에서 분리된 장구균을 대상으로 디스크 확산법, 최소발육억제 농도등의 측정을 통해 반코마이신 내성여부를 확인하였으며, 반코마이신내성 장구균을 대상으로 PFGE를 시행하여 형별 분석을 하였다. 결과 : 분리된 균주는 총 32균주로 모두 E. faecium이었다. 항생제 내성 검사 결과 모두 Van A형이었다. PFGE 결과 1a형이 8검체, 1b형이 5검체, 2a형이 4검체, 2b형이 4검체, 3a형이 2검체, 3b형이 5검체였고, 그 외 4, 5, 6형이 각각 1검체씩이었다. 총 32균주 중 56%(18/32)의 균주가 같은 시기, 같은 병실에서 동일한 PFGE 형을 보이면서 분리되었다. 결론 : 반코마이신내성 장구균의 PFGE 분석 결과 여러 종류의 반코마이신내성 장구균이 유행하였음을 알 수 있다. 그러나 같은 기간, 같은 병실에서 분리된 균주의 PFGE 형이 같은 것이 상당수 있었다. 이는 반코마이신내성 장구균의 원내 전파가 있었음을 의미한다. 따라서 반코마이신내성 장구균의 전파의 발생 및 전파 방지를 위해서는 보다 효과적인 감염관리 활동이 필요할 것으로 생각된다. Background: Vancomycin-resistant enterococci(VRE) have been a rising problem worldwide. In March 2000, VRE was first isolated from a patient in Hangang Sacred Heart hospital. Although efforts to prevent transmission of VRE were performed, isolations continued. So molecular epidemiological study of VRE was done. Method : The minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC) to vancomycin and teicoplanin, and pulsed field gel electrophoresis(PFGE) pattern of VRE isolated from March 2000 to February 2001 were evaluated. Results : 32 VRE were isolated. All of the VRE were Enterococcus faecium and showed Van A resistance phenotype. We found out that a significant number of VRE isolated during same period and in same room, were same PFGE patterns. (18 cases/ 32 isolates= 56%) Conclusion: This study demonstrated the spread of VRE of same PFGE patterns. It suggests the nosocomial spreads of VRE.

        고사리잎 추출액을 이용한 견직물 염색성

        In this study, the characteristics of catechol tannin and pyrogallol tannin contained in Pteridium aquilinum were analysed by IR spectrum. Silk fabrics were dyed with Pteridium aquilinum extracts using various mordants, and their dyeing properties were discussed. Additionally the fastness to the water digestion, perspiration liquid digestion and light irradiation were investigated. IR spectrum of catechol tannin showed bands of O-H at 2417㎝^(-1), C-H at 2930㎝^(-1), C-O at 1722^(-1), C=C at 1644㎝^(-1), CH₂ at 1402㎝^(-1). And IR spectrum of pyrogallol tannin showed bands of O-H at 3409㎝^(-1), C-H at 3003㎝^(-1) and 2933㎝^(-1), C=O at 1701㎝^(-1), C=C at 1582㎝^(-1), CH₂ at 1401㎝^(-1), CO at carboxylic acid and carboxylic acid ester at 1287㎝^(-1) and 1135㎝^(-1). The maximum absorption wavelength of the extracts appeared at 270.0nm and 311.5nm. The optimum conditions for dyeing silk fabric with Pteridium aquilinum extracts were 80℃, 60min. Surface color of the silk fabric dyed with Pteridium aquilinum extracts was 2.7Y. Surface color of the pre-mordanted fabrics with Al, Cu and Fe were 4.3Y, 2.5Y and 4.7Y, respectively. And Surface color of the post-mordanted fabrics with Al, Cu and Fe were 3.7Y, 2.8Y and 0.2GY. The water fastness and the alkaline perspiration fastness were improved in the Al-mordanted silk fabrics. By acidic and alkaline perspiration treatment, △E of the unmordanted fabrics was lower than that of pre-and post-mordanted fabrics. Also after 40hour irradiation, △E of the unmordanted fabrics was lower than that of pre-and post-mordanted fabrics.

        Inhibitory Effect of Cordycepin on Human Platelet Aggregation

        Cordycepin separated from Cordyceps militaris is a major physiologic active component in Cordyceps militaris. The platelet aggregation is stimulated by Ca^(2+), which is either mobilized from intracellular endoplasmic reticulum or transported from extracellular space. cGMP antagonizes the actions of Ca^(2+). Based on these facts, we have investigated the effects of cordycepin on the mobilization of Ca^(2+) and the production of cGMP on collagen (10 ㎍/ml)-induced human platelet aggregation. Cordycepin potently stimulated the human platelet aggregation induced by collagen (10 ㎍/ml) in a dose-dependent manner. Cordycepin (500 μM) inhibited also the collagen-induced human platelet aggregation in the presence both 1 mM and 2 mM of CaCl_(2). These are in accord with the results that cordycepin inhibited the Ca^(2+)-influx on collagen-induced human platelet aggregation. These results suggest that cordycepin decrease the intracellular Ca^(2+) concentration to inhibit collagen-induced human platelet aggregation. Besides, cordycepin increased the level of cGMP on collagen-induced human platelet aggregation. This result is related with the decrease of intracellular Ca^(2+) concentration, because cGMP inhibits the mobilization of Ca^(2+). In addition, cordycepin inhibited the human platelet aggregation induced by LY-83583, inhibitor of guanylate cyclase. This result suggested that cordycepin inhibit the platelet aggregation by stimulating the activity of guanylate cyclase. In conclusion, we demonstrated that cordycepin might have the antiplatelet function by inhibiting Ca^(2+)-mobilization via the stimulation of the production of cGMP.

        백서의 실험적 치아이동시 connexin 43의 발현에 관한 연구

        치아이동시 골세포간 활성 조화에서 세포간 교통의 중요성이 차츰 인식되고 있으며 세포간 교통을 위한 교통반의 존재가 확인되고 있다. 동물실험 모델에서 실험적 치아이동을 통해 조성된 압박 및 견인측 치주인대에서 교통반 단백의 일종인 connexin 43의 발현을 관찰함으로써 인접 연조직 및 골 조직 내에서 세포 신호 전달 양상의 한 부분을 파악하고자 하였다. Sprague-Dawley계 백서 27마리를 대조군(3마리)과 실험군(24마리)으로 나누었으며, 실험군은 견인력(75g)을 가한 후 12시간, 1일, 4일, 7일, 14일, 28일이 경과한 후 각각 4마리씩 희생시켜, connexin 43의 발현을 면역조직화학적으로 관찰한 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1.대조군에서의 connexin 43 발현은 치은, 상아질, 치주인대, 치수, 골세포에서 경미하였다. 2.교정적 치아이동에 반응하는 치수, 치주인대, 골모세포, 파골세포, 골세포부위에서 connexin 43의 발현이 많았으나 치은, 상아질, 상아모세포에서의 발현은 견인력 적용기간에 관계없이 대조군과 큰 차이가 없었다. 3.치수에서 connexin 43의 발현은 교정력을 가한 4일에서부터 증가하여 7일째까지 크게 증가한 후 14일째부터 감소되었으며 28일째에는 대조군과 차이가 없었다. 4.치주인대에서 connexin 43의 발현은 주로 혈관을 중심으로 치조골 면을 따라 압박측에서 주로 나타났는데 교정력을 가한 12시간에서부터 증가하여 4일에서 가장 많은 발현을 보인 후 7일부터 감소하기 시작하였다. 5.골모세포 및 골세포에서 발현은 실험 1일째부터 출현해 4일째에 가장 많은 발현을 보였고 7일 이후에는 크게 감소하였으며 파골세포에서의 발현은 골모세포와 골세포보다 실험 4일째에 더 많이 관찰할 수 있었다. Bone remodeling in response to force requires coordinated actions of osteoblasts, osteoclasts, osteocytes, and periodontal ligament cells. Coordination among these cells may be mediated, in part, by cell-to-cell communication via gap junctions. This study was designed to evaluate the expression of gap junction, connection 43 in periodontal tissue during the experimental movement of rat's incisors, by LSAB(labelled streptavidine biotin) immunohistochemical staining fort connexin 43. Twenty seven Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into a control group(3 rats), and 6 experimental groups(24 rats) where 75g of force was applied from helical springs across the maxillary incisors. Rats of experimental groups were sacrificed at 12 hours, 1, 4, 7, 14 and 28 days after force application, respectively. And the tissues of a control group and experimental groups were studied immunohistochemically. The results were as follows : 1.In control group, the expression of connexin 43 was rare in gingiva, dentin, cementum, periodontal ligament and bone cells. 2.In experimental group, the expression of connexin 43 was increased in pulp, periodontal ligament, osteoblasts, and osteoclasts, comparing to that in control. And it was rare in gingiva, dentin, and odontoblasts regardless of the duration of force application, which was not different from that of control group. 3.The expression of connexin 43 in pulp of experimental group began to increase in 4-day after force application and got to the highest degree at 7-day. And it decreased after 14-day to be similar to that of control group at 28-day. 4.The expression of connexin 43 in periodontal ligament was noted in small capillaries adjacent to alveolar bone, showing higher intensity of immunolabelling after 4-day. And it was stronger in the pressure side than in tension side of periodontal ligament. After 7-day, decrease in connexin 43 expression was observed. 5.The expression of connexin 43 in alveolar bone began to increase 1-day, reached to the highest degree at 4-day, and decreased at 7-day. And the expression in osteoclasts was more than that in osteoblasts or osteocyte at 7-day.
