      • 컬러모니터의 색상선호도 평가방법에 관한 연구

        This study investigated the evaluation method for the users`` color preference of CRT monitors. And also the users`` preference of the colors displayed on CRT monitor using the park``s color reproduction system was evaluated. Subjects conducted a series of psychophysical experiments to compare the colors displayed on a CRT monitor using the park``s system to the colors without the system, Three evaluation methods were investigated: comparing one colors of same hue with diverse luminance and saturation. the results showed that subjects preferred the colors reproduced using the park``s system, and thd evaluation methods significantly affected thd color preference.

        To simulate accurate spectral reflectance from the red-green-blue output of a video digitizing system, a set of basis functions were computed. 1565 reflectance spectra of the chips in the Munsell Book of Color(Glossy) were measured with a spectrophotometer in KRISS. The autocorrelation matrix of these samples was formed and the eigenvectors and the eigenvalues of this matrix were computed by using Karhunen-Loeve transformation.

      • Cortisone이 복막탐식세포의 탐식기능에 미치는 影響에 關한 電子顯微鏡的 硏究

        It is well known that the phagocytic action of the cells of the reticuloendothelial system plays and important role in the immunological reaction and as a barrier against foreign bodies. It is also known that when the reticuloendothelial system is blockaded by cortisone, adherence of the foreign bodies to the cell membrane of phagocytes, and initial step of phagocytic mechanism, and absorption of foreign body into the cytoplasm of phagocytes are considerably disturbed. An investigation was undertaken to study the phagocytic activity of the omental milk spots by light and electron microscopy. Sixteen albino rats, maintained on a stock diet, weighing 200.0gm. average, were divided into 3 experimental groups. Group 1. Control group. No intraperitooneal injection of india ink given. a. Two rats, untreated. b. 2 rats: A dose of 25 ㎎ of cortisone acetate was given intramuscularly for 6 consecutive days. Group 2. 6 rats: A single dose of 6.0㎖ of 2% india ink in normal saline was given once a day, intraperitioneally, for 3 consecutive days. Group 3. 6 rats: A dose of 25 ㎎of cortisone acetate was given intramuscularly, once a day, for 6 consecutive days. Starting on the 4th day, a 6.0㎖ of 2% india ink in normal saline, once a day, wa administered intraperitoneally, for 3 days. Each of the experimental rats were sacrificed 24 hours after the last treatment of india ink preparation from the groups 2 and 3. The control group was sacrificed simillarly. Then the greater omentum was extirpated and inspected for india ink pigmentation of the milk spots, followed by both light and electron microscopic examinations. The results were as follows: 1. Light microscopic observations: In the experimental group of rats treated with 25 ㎎ doses of cortisone acetate with a resulant reticuloendothelial system blockade followed by an intraperitioneal india ink injection (group 3), the degree of carbon particle phagocytic activity of omental milk spots was greatly diminished over the group of rats treated with india ink only (group 2). 2. Electron microscopic observations: The number of phagosomes in the cytoplasms of the phagocytes of the milk spots of the greater omentum was increased substantially in the group of rate treated with india ink only (group 2). In this group, a large quantity of carbon particles were found to be contained in the phagosomes. Although there was an increased number of phagosomes bearing carbon particles in the group of rats treated with 25㎎ doses cortisone acetate followed by india ink injection (group 3), the number of phagosomes in this group was less than in the group of rats treated with india ink alone (group 2). A considerable quantity of carbon particles were also found outside the cytoplasms of phagocytes for group 3. It can be concluded, therefor: The phagocytic activity of omental milk spots was greatly decimated but not completely inbibited when the reticuloendothelial system was blockaded by large quantity of cortisone administration.

      • 콩의 개화기 전후 공급과 수용부위의 생장반응과 수량에 대한 질소의 효과

        This study was conducted to examine the nitrogen effects on the growth responses, the nodulation, and the distribution of dry weight of plant tissues at major growth stages before and after the flowering stage, and to evaluate the yield components and yields with different nitrogen levels. Hwangkeum cultivar(Glycine max L mereill) was cultivated under five different nitrogen levels, 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, N Kg/10a. Stem length and branching number, which were investigated with different N levels at major growth stages, were rapidly increased for 14days for before and after the flowering stage compared to the other growth stages. They were clearly higher with treatment of 2 and 4 N kg/10a than those of other N treatments. Pod number was slightly increased from the flowering to beginning maturity. It was the highest in the treatment of 2 N Kg/10a. Comparing grain number per pod with different N levels, two grains per pod was much higher in all N treatments except for the treatment of 6 N Kg/10a. Dry weight of shoot(including leaf, stem, and pod) was rapidly increased from the flowering stage to the full seed stage and then gradually increased after the full seed stage, whereas the dry weight of root(including the nodule and root) was rapidly increased until to full pod stage and then linearly decreased from the full pod stage until the beginning maturity stage. Comparing dry weight with different N levels, the dry weight of shoot was the highest in the treatment of 4 N Kg/10a, while it of root was the highest in the treatment of 2N Kg/10a. The dry weight of nodule was the highest, 13.1 Kg/10a, at full pod stage. Comparing the dry weight of nodule with different N levels, it was increased to the application amount of 4 N Kg/10a and then clearly decreased with more application amount of N than 4 Kg/10a. The yield components which were mostly affected to the yield were pod number per plant and grain number per plant. They were 57.5 and 106.1, respectively, with treatment of 4 N Kg/10a, which showed the highest yield, about 266 Kg/10a. Comparing yield index with different N levels to the control, the yields with treatment of 2 and 4 Kg/10a were increased to 21% and 34%, respectively.

        To prepare a durable softening water repellent, quaternized stearyl methacrylate-2-diethylami-noethyl methacrylate as a mother resin and quaternized 1-behenoylaminoethyl-2-docosyl imidazo-line which increase the softening effect and the hydrostatic pressure blended with waxes and their emulsifier in various proportions to give water repellent PPSBC. As the results of the measurement of water repellency. washable, tear strength and crease recovery to polyester-cotton(P/C) blended fabrics treated with PPSBC only or addition of textile finishing resin, the physical properties were increased. there was no significant lowering effect in water repellency when PPSBC was treated the antistatic agent by the one-bath method. and the effect of water repellency by the adding the catalyst was studied. PPSBC was confirmed as durable water repellent with the results of making little difference of water repellency as±5 point after and before washing. And, the water repellency mechanism of P/C blended fabrics treated with PPSBC was also discussed in detail.

        The tristimulus values of an object color are dependent on both the spectral power distribution of the illuminant and the surface reflectance of the object. Futhermore the physical factors that are relevant to color image processing are camera sensor spectral responses and monitor phosphor power distributions In this paper, we constructed the optical system for the measurement of camera spectral responses As a result, we obtained spectral sensitivity functions of a camera corresponding to rλ ̄, gλ ̄, bλ ̄ color matching functions.

        The resonance scattering of acoustic waves from thick cylindrical shells is analyzed for the case of an air-filled glass shell immersed in water. This is done by using the model of an elastic plate, and by calculating resonance frequencies, dispersion curves, and attenuations of circumferential waves. We also discuss some experimental results that deal with the backscattering of acoustic waves by cylindrical shells obtained by using short pulse excitation and Fourier spectroscopy analysis. Resonance spectra of backscattered signals show peaks corresponding to thickness resonances.

        To Evaluate the colorimetric properties of color monitor, a set of assumptions about the monitor's performance are described. These are the assumption of phosphor constancy, phosphor independece, spatial uniformity, and temporal stability. The results of measurements that test the validity of these assumptions for a multisync color monitor are presented.

        정신보건법의 주요 쟁점 조항에 대한 선진국과의 사례 비교

        Objectives The Mental Health Act is an initiative aimed at changing and shaping mental health services and protecting human rights of persons with mental disorders. Since the Mental Health Act was legislated in 1995, four amendments have been made according to the issues that arose from public concerns. However, there are still many debates about the human rights protection of the mentally iII. This study aimed to provide information regarding major aspects of the Mental Health Act by comparing them among several developed countries. Methods Current Mental Health Acts of the state of Michigan in the United States, Scotland in England, the state of Victoria in Australia, and Japan were reviewed. Issues regarding the Korean Mental Health Act were collected from seminar materials, news media contents, and mental health professionals Results The definition of subjects in Korean Mental Health Act was more inclusive than other countries and was derived from a medical classification of mental illness. Family members or guardians were granted important responsibilities for deciding the involuntary admission of mentally ill patients in Korea and Japan. In Western countries, Mental Health Review Tribunals or courts have the primary responsibility for important decisions about mentally ill patients. The regulation of immediate dis- charge after request by voluntarily admitted patients was not enacted in all countries except Korea. The mandatory procedure for involuntary admission in Western countries includes an individual case review with personal interview by a Mental Health Review Tribunal or court. Conclusion The Korean Mental Health Act appears to meet the basic standards of Guidelines from international organizations. Our traditional culture and inherent health systems seem to influence the legal regulation of mental health service and might be related to the problems of human rights protection of mentally ill patients in Korea.
