현대 비극작가로서 프리드리히 뒤렌마트

형상화되어 있지도 않고 지금도 만들어지면서 동시에 와해되어 가는 현대 과학시대에 프리드리히 뒤렌마트는 역설적으로 그리스 비극의 주인공의 모습을 부활시키고 있다. 현재에서 작품의 소재를 찾아내 작품화하고 있는 그는 그리스 비극의 주인공인 고통받는 영웅의 모습은 아니지만 역설적으로 핵무기가 없으면 살아갈 수 없는 현대인들의 그로테스크한 모습으로 그려내고 있다. 로마제국의 멸망을 그려낸 <로물루스 대제>에서 마지막 황제인 로물루스는 ‘아무것도 하지 않는 것을 정치적 견해’라고 그의 입장을 밝히면서 그가 했던 것은 오로지 로마제국의 멸망을 위해서였다. 바보스럽고 우스꽝스럽지만 그의 통치행위는 역설적으로 로마 시민들의 피를 한 방울도 흘리지 않고 로마를 게르만족에게 넘겨주면서 게르만족의 사령관인 오도아커와 함께 유쾌하게 역사 속으로 사라진다. 뒤렌마트는 그리스 비극 속에서 나라를 구하기 위해서 목숨을 바쳤건 수많은 영웅들의 장엄한 모습에 비해 현대에는 그와 같은 영웅의 모습은 불가능하며 비극적인 요소가 제거된 바보스럽지만 머리 좋은 로마제국의 마지막 황제를 보여주고 있다. 역사 속에서 새로운 로물루스의 모습을 그려낸 반면 뒤렌마트는 개인적인 복수와 현대인의 이기심을 보여준 <노부인의 방문>에서 그리스 신화의 복수의 화신인 메데아는 아니지만 현대판 비극의 여주인공을 만들어내고 있다. 주인공인 클레르 차하나씨안의 복수의 대가로 제안되는 10억과 그녀의 옛 애인의 죽음으로 막을 내리는 이 작품은 그리스 비극에서 관객들에게 보여주었던 비장하면서도 장엄한 비극적인 죽음 대신에 마치 사형집행인에 의해 교수형을 당하는 비극적인 요소가 사라진 죽음을 보여주고 있다. 추상적이며 맹목적이었던 그리스 비극에서 보여졌던 죽음의 모습은 구체적이면서 마치 재판에 의해서 사형선고 내려진 교수형의 모습으로 바뀌고 있다. 현대과학시대의 중요한 문제 중의 하나인 과학의 발전과 과학자들의 책임과 의무를 다른 <물리학자들>에서 작가는 절망적인 시대상황 속에서도 끊임없이 노력하는 용감한 인간상을 주인공인 뫼비우스를 통해서 보여주고 있다. 설령 그의 노력이 실패하더라도 그의 용기있는 행위는 베르톨트 브레히트의 <갈릴레이의 생애>에서 갈릴레이의 행위와 크게 대비되고 있다. 여의사에 의해서 그의 노력이 좌절되지만 뫼비우스의 용기있는 행위는 이 작품이 발표되었던 시기의 냉전구조 속에서 이루어졌던 과학발달의 무한경쟁이 무엇을 의미하며 과학자가 무엇을 해야하는 가를 보여주고 있다. 뒤렌마트는 이 논문에서 다루었던 작품들을 통해서 고전적인 비극의 틀을 유지하고 있지만 그가 추구했던 것은 그런 형식적인 면이 아니라 상이한 인간의 모습을 그려내는 것이다. 추상화되고 고통 받았던 영웅의 모습이 아니라 그로테스크하고 바보스럽지만 노력하는 인간상을 그려내면서도 절망적인 상황에서 절망하지 않는 인간의 모습을 종교적이면서 뒤렌마트적인 휴머니즘으로 보여주고 있다.

鐵筋콘크리트 土留構造物의 最適化에 關한 硏究

A mathematical model is formulated for the minimum cost design of reinforced concrete earth structures. The design variables are selected to be the depth and steel ratio in the retaining wall, and the depth, steel ratio and footing sizes in the isolated column footings. An elastic analysis is performed and resulting designs are based on both the ultimate strength theory and the elastic theory of concrete design. Constraint requirements are imposed to insure structural strength and side constraints. The resulting mathematical model is a nonlinear constrained optimization problem. The modified Lagrange Multiplier method is suggested as a satisfactory algorithm for the optimum design of the R.C. earth structures.

F. 뒤렌마트 희곡에 나타난 여성의 모습

Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht eine neue F. Durrenmatts Sicht uber die weibliche Gestalt in der Schweiz, Seit langerer Zeit uberlebt die Schweiz als ein wohlhandes, unabhangiges und selbst-ezitierendes Land in Europa. Aber das obige stolze schweizerische SelbestbewuBtssein wird nach dem zweitn Weltkrieg neu geschatzt. F. Durrenmatts hat auf ein neues Verhaltnis zwischen der mannlichen Gestalt und weiblichen Gestalt in Europa und der Schweiz im seinen Drama achtgegeben. In der europaischen schwerzerischen Geshilchte war immer die mannliche Gestalt als die absolute Starke aufgetreten. F. Durrenmatts hat die mannliche absolute Starke sehr kritisch beobachtet und sich die besondere Gestalt im seinen Drama vorgestaltet. Trotzdem hat F. Durrenmatts die mannliche Figur als die normale dargestellt, wahrend er die weibliche Figuren als abnormale groteske dargestellt, obgleich sie eine Sieg uber die mannliche Starke im Durrenmatts Drama gewonnen haben. Die weiblichen Figuren haben die Welteroberung und die Rache durch die Gerechtigkeit im Durrenmatts Dramen versucht, aber ihr Versuch wird naturlich mit einen MiBerfolg endigen, weil sie es in der Weltordnung, die von den Mannern aufgebaut worden ist, versudht haben. Deswegen sind die weiblichen Figuren im Durrenmatts Drama sehr grotesk aufgetaucht worden. Dagegen bleiben immer noch die mannlichen Figuren als eine absolute patriachalische Gestalt im Durrenmatts Drama.

철근 콘크리트 기둥의 최적화에 관한 연구

This study is concerned with the optimum proportioning of R.C. sections for the optimum design of R.C. columns, using the Working Stress Design theory based on the AIK (the Architectural Institute of Korea) Code and the Ultimate Strength Design theory based on the ACI Code (318-77). In R.C. columns, since the strength and the steel ratio are usually considered at the preliminary stage, the design constraints used are strength constraints, and the side constraints(upper and lower limits of steel ratio). Cost objective function for the minimum cost design is obtained by considering the cost of concrete, steel bars, and forming. Section optimization of a column is achieved by using SUMT for the tension controls cases, and the heuristic method for the compression controls cases. It has been observed that the optimum proportioning of R.C. column results in significant saving in the construction cost, and that the minimum steel ratio of the Code, for the compression failure column, and the balanced steel ratio, for the tension failure columns, were the optimum solutions. The optimization algorithm developed may be recommended to achieve the minimum cost design of R.C. columns.

철근콘크리트 벽구조의 단면 최적화에 관한 연구

The objective of this study is to suggest an effective optimization algorithm for the minimum cost design of R.C. wall, using a complete stress-strain relationship. Since strength and steel ratio are usually considered at the preliminary stage in the design of R.C. wall, the strenght constraints and the side constraints (lower limits of steel ratio and other code requirements) are used as design constraints. A cost objective function for the minimum cost design is obtained by considering the cost of concrete, steel bars, and forming. Optimization is achieved by using heuristic method. It has been observed that minimum steel ratio is the optimum steel ratio, for the compression failure wall; and optimum steel ratio is increased with the design moment for the tension failure wall.

한국성인들의 사회경제적 요인 및 구강보건의식행태에 따른 치아우식증 실태분석

The aim of this study was to analyze the association of the dxperience of dental caries with socioeconomic status and dental health behaviors among Korean adults as one of the results of National Oral Health Survey(NOHS) data in 2000. A total of 6,736 was collected from 7,027 households which were visited and interviewedfrom June 30th, 2000 to NOHS 28소, 2001 in NOHS. The subjects were more than 20 years old (men 2,754, women 3,982). The results of this study were obtained as below; 1. An average of DMFT index in women(7.20) was considerably higher than in men(4.90). The DMFT index of the people in twenties(4.53) and aged more than 70 was 4.53 and 14.28 respectively. The number of caries experienced teeth increased graduaily as the subjects were getting older. 2. There was negative relationship between caries experience and dental education levels, as opposed to monthly household income as a indicator of economic status. 3. In lihgt of caries experienced teeth connected to subjective recognition of oral health status and concern about oral health, it showed that Korean people have already known about their oral health status with concern. 4. It would be recommended that some specified measures such as index of dental root caries prevalence should be added and that the questionnaire should be improved for the second NOHS in 2003.

무선 인터넷 기반의 POI 정보 서비스를 위한 개인 항법 시스템 브라우저 구현

This paper presents a design and implementation of a Personal Navigation System Browser for POI services for portable PDA(Personal Digital Assistants). Personal Navigation System(PNS) service is a location based geographic information service for PDA or cellular telephone. Point of Interest(POI) is the information about a user's personal interests. PNS Browser is a PNS application which receives and displays POI information as well as location based geographic information service. In this paper, a PNS Browser is proposed and its implementation is presented that contains CHtml Web Browser and POI manager as well as the Map display by using wireless internet technology.

Burkhoderia sp. AK-17에 의한 잎들깨 재배의 생물학적 조절

There are various crop diseases in green houses that are caused by the cultural environments, especially high temperature and moisture. To solve the forementioned problems, farmers are overusing agricultural chemicals, causing other damages by the chemical residue. In this study, antagonistic bacteria as biological control agents were isolated to produce the environmentally-friendly crops for use in green houses. Eighteen species of antagonistic bacteria were totally isolated from the soil and plants in the Perilla fields, and AK-17 showed the highest activity among the isolates. According to the results of anti-fungal spectrum against several pathogens by AK-17, the antagonism effect of the isolates was remarkable against grey mold rot by Botrytis cinerea, sclerotinia rot by Sclerotnia sclerotiorum, and stem rot by Rhizoctonia solini. To evaluate the biological control effects of the isolates against the major diseases of Perilla, studies were carried out to evaluate the preventive and the curative effects of the diseases throughout the pot experiments. According to the forementioned experiments, the preventive and the curative effects by the isolates against sclerotinia rot were respectively showed as 55% and 92%. For the grey mold rot, those were 40% and 78%, respectively. As to the evaluation of the growth-promoting effect by AK-17, the length and the biomass of the tested plants were increased to 120% and to 164%, respectively. For the leaf numbers and area were respectively increased to 120% and 220%. Furthermore, AK-17 was identified as Burkhoderia sp. according to the results of physiological properties and genetic methods. 시설원예단지의 재배환경은 고온다습으로 많은 병해가 발생하며, 이를 방제하기위해 과다한 농약을 사용하므로 농약 잔류성에 대한 피해가 심각한 우려를 낳고 있다. 미생물을 이용한 생물학적 방제법 개발로 청정 시설원예작물을 생산할 목적으로 길항균을 분리하였다. 잎들깨 재배토양과 식물체로부터 길항세균 18종을 분리하였으며 분리한 길항세균 중에 AK-17이 가장 활성이 뛰어나 이를 이용하여 주요 식물병원균에 대한 항균스펙트럼을 조사하였다. 그 결과 잿빛곰팡이병원균의 Botrytis cinerea와 균핵병원균의 Sclerotinia sclerotiorum 및 줄기썩음병원균인 Rhizoctonia solant에 대한 항균효과가 뛰어났다. 잎들깨의 주요 병에 대한 생물학적 방제실험은 병발생 억제효과와 병방제효과를 pot 실험으로 실시했다. 그 결과 균핵병은 55%의 병발생 억제효과와 92%의 방제효과가 있었고, 잿빛곰팡이병은 40%의 병발생 억제효과와 78%의 방제효과를 확인할 수 있었다. AK-17의 식물 생육촉진효과는 신장이 120%, 생체중이 164% 증가되었으며, 엽수와 엽면적은 각각 120%와 220%의 증가효과를 보였다. 그리고 AK-17을 생리·생화학적방법과 유전학적 방법으로 동정한 결과, Burkhoderia sp.로 확인되었다.

건축적 프로그램과 움직임의 관계 및 의미에 관한 연구

This study intends to understand the meaning and relation of movement generated from architectural space and program, a starting point of architecture proposed by contemporary architects. Movement is engendered by the spatial relationship of space rather than characteristic of individuation space. Spatial relationship of these space consists by the analysis and application of architectural program. Program is expressed by architect's unique style of analysis and application to modern society conceived. The research proposes that movement is intrinsic point of the architectural program and therefore the essence of architecture design procedure.
