Due to changes of information delivery media humans have changed dramatically. This have been called a new paradigm shift of IT(Information Technology). The changes have evolved from character revolution by the language, to communication revolution by the communication media, and to the age of information revolution by the development of IT. The development of IT for the progress of communication and network technology has required reengineering of business processes and the internet as a strategic weapon for competitive advantages in enterprise. Global business by global networking has been emphasized from the internet connectivity and the information architecture to strategic application for survival as a world-class organization in the 21st century. This paper attempts a strategic approach for the information system infrastructure and the internet applications, and presents a methodology for measuring the potential values of connecting to the internet.

구미지역 상설시장의 유통업 현황분석 및 활성화 방안

Due to a great difficulty of permanent market with the advent of great discount stores and foreign distributors, this paper is to analyze the current situation and to present suggestions for the development of the permanent market Gumi. To achieve the objective, a field study has been conducted using the questionaires for the consumers and the interviews with the merchants of the 5 major permanent markets in Gumi area. The study is based on the pilot study by civil servants and the representatives of the merchants. Considering the problems the permanent market in Gumi it is suggested that we approach not from the viewpoint of competitive relationship but from that of mutually cooperative relationship. Then, the distribution industry will be able to enhance the life quality of citizen and develop regional community.

知識勞動者의 生産性向上要因에 關한 硏究

This paper attempts to identify critical factors affecting knowledge worker productivity improvement, putting emphasis on the relationships between three kinds of factors (human factors, environmental factors, and managerial factors) and knowledge worker productivity measured by added value productivity and ratio. A field study has been conducted using questionnaire surveys and interviews. Data from the field study are collected from 35 different banking operations in Taegu area and analyzed with analysis of variance.

초·중등교원 정보기술 소양의 현수준과 기대수준에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to survey current status of information technology literacy in Korean teachers and to give some suggestions for the preparation of prospective teachers in Korea. To achieve the purpose, data were collected using on- and off-line surveys containing questionnaires developed by the researchers. The survey items were categorized into 11 groups such as operation capability, computer use and communication, word processing, ethics, computer fundamentals, understanding of educational IT, information instruments use, application s/w use, work processing with computer, and internet use capability. Major findings were as follows: (1) Female teachers rated their IT literacy level higher than male teachers. (2) Teachers with longer teaching experience rated their IT literacy level lower than those of shorter experience. (3) There were no signigicant differences among sex, school, job grade of teachers at the present level of literacy, but there were significant differences among sex, age, carreer, job grade, and subject matter at the expectation level except for school grade.

생활정보지의 현황분석 및 발전방안에 관한 연구

The residents' demand for community-related information has increased with the advent of an information-based society. One of the alternatives is called Community Information Paper(CIP) since there are some limitations in satisfying this demand with the typical mass media such as daily newspaper and nationwide mass media. This study aims to identify the current situations of CIP perceived by the community residents and to suggest the future development policy. In summary, the CIP is securing its status on customers as a new mass media, and becoming an axile of mass media in information-based society with high possibility of further development as a profitable business in the future.

중국시장 확보를 위한 셀룰러폰의 전략적 디자인 개발

This paper os to strategically develop the of the cellular phone, aiming at the Chinese market, considering that the overall and in-depth research & analysis is insufficient for the mobile telecommunication of China. To achieve the objective, a field study has been on the conducted using the unstructured questionaires for the consumers and the interviews with the representatives of the distributers in china. The design of this study is developed based on the details, such as, documents research, statistics, data made by the partners, Chinese mobile telecommunication market condition, and the preference analysis of the users. The result of the study is considered to be used as basic data, which can be available for domestic terminal companies to secure the beachhead of Chinese market. Furthermore, it is expected to be used to preempt the market share for the cellular phone in China.

미국의 교사교육에 있어서 정보기술소양의 내용과 기준

The purpose of this study was to investigate the contents and standards of Information Literacy or Information Technology Literacy current trend in America, and to give some suggestions for the preparation of prospective teachers in Korea. Although the concept Information Literacy seemed to be coined in the late 1970's, the term became more popular in the 1990's. Both Technology Literacy and Information Literacy are in popular to use. The Technology in Technology Literacy connotes Educational Technology, meaning familiarity and proficiency in use of technological systems, software, and information. For the contents and standards of Information or Technology Literacy, ISTE(International Society for Technology in Education) issued two national standards in this area: one for students, and the other for teachers. However, these standards, despite their extensive influence on leaders of schools and libraries, did not hint any level of mastery in specific system, application, and behaviors. So there remains need for the investigation of both students and teachers required mastery levels for graduation or certification.

Another purpose of this thesis is to give information related human resource planning processes when managers practice them In order to get the latter this paper discusses manpower supply forecasting model using Markov Chain. This paper is an attempting of reviewing theoretical framework and actual availability of human resource planning. This efforts is valuable in trend of emphasizing significance of human resource planning.
