Purpose: Jeju Free International City is growing around the tourism industry. However, for Jeju Free International City to grow in line with the concept of free international city, it is necessary to move away from the current industrial structure that is focused on the tourism industry. It is necessary to reorganize the industrial structure centered on the financial industry in the long term, and for this, it is necessary to develop interest and fostering the financial industry within Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. This study intends to reconsider the necessity through the academic approach to fostering the financial industry in Jeju Free International City, which has been planned from the policy perspective. To this end, this study empirically analyzed the factors necessary to build the foundation for fostering the financial industry in Jeju Free International City. The purpose of this study is to examine the necessity for the establishment of an international financial center in Jeju and to derive the necessity for each factor through analysis of sub-factors necessary for the establishment of an international financial center in Jeju. Research design, data and methodology: This study carried out IPMA for analysis of components for fostering the financial industry. Through IPMA, this study identified priorities for the need for configuration factors and sub-factors. In addition, the thesis further performed a cross-group comparison. Result: The analysis confirmed that the factors in the living environment are the highest priority. It also confirmed that the priority of institutional policy factors and infra-facility factors is high. This study found that financial and non-financial employees differed in the priorities of factors in the comparison analysis between groups. This study also confirmed that Jeju residents and non-Jeju residents have distinct differences in the priorities of factors. Conclusion: Through this study, factors necessary for Jeju Free International City were identified. In addition, it was confirmed that there was a clear difference between the factors necessary for Jeju residents and non-Jeju residents. In the future, it is necessary to seriously consider these differences in the decision on whether to introduce, how to introduce, and priorities in the introduction of international financial center.

제주도 웰니스관광 활동에 대한 관광객의 중요도-만족도 연구

본 연구의 목적은 제주도를 방문하는 관광객을 대상으로 웰니스관광 활동에 대한 중요도와 만족도를 확인하고, 이를 바탕으로 제주도 웰니스관광에 대한 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 이론적 고찰을 통하여 웰니스 관광 활동을 5가지 활동 요인으로 구분하고 세부 활동 요인을 도출하였다. 그리고 도출된 세부 활동 요인을 활용하여 작성된 설문지를 통하여 제주도에서 웰니스관광을 경험한 관광객을 대상으로 표본데이터를 수집하였다. 이러한 표본데이터를 활용하여 남성관광객과 여성관광객의 차이분석과 중요도-만족도 분석을 실시하였다. 실증 분석 결과 제주도내 웰니스관광 활동 중 자연치유 활동은 높은 중요도와 높은 만족도를 보여주는 활동요인이었고 이와 반대로 심리적 활동은 낮은 중요도와 낮은 만족도를 보여주는 활동요인으로 나타났다. 이와 함께 남성관광객과 여성관광객에 대한 분석 결과 두 그룹은 제주도내 웰니스 관광 활동에 대한 인식에서 유의한 차이를 보이고 있는 것이 확인되었으며 중요도-만족도 분석에서는 심리적 활동과 온천 부분에서 큰 차이가 나는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 분석결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 제주도의 웰니스관광 활성화를 위하여 집중해야 할 활동이 자연치유 활동이라는 점을 제시하고 이를 중심으로 관련 정책을 수립하여야 한다고 제언하였다. 또한 웰니스관광과 관련된 마케팅 전략 수립 시 남성관광객과 여성관광객의 차이를 고려하여야 하며 특히 온천과 관련된 웰니스관광 활동에 대해서는 남성관광객과 여성관광객에게 서로 다른 전략을 구사해야한다고 제언하였다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the importance and performance of wellness tourism activities for tourists visiting Jeju Island, based on this, it is to draw implications for wellness tourism in Jeju Island. For this purpose, this study divided wellness tourism activities into 5 activity factors through theoretical consideration and derived detailed activity factors. In addition, sample data were collected from tourists who experienced wellness tourism in Jeju Island through a questionnaire prepared using the derived detailed activity factors. Using these sample data, a difference analysis and importance-performance analysis were conducted between male and female tourists. As a result of empirical analysis, natural healing activities among wellness tourism activities in Jeju Island were activity factors showing high importance and high preformance. On the contrary, psychological activity was found to be an activity factor showing low importance and low preformance. In addition, as a result of analyzing male and female tourists, it was confirmed that the two groups showed a significant difference in their perception of wellness tourism activities in Jeju Island. Also, in the importance-preformance analysis, it was confirmed that there was a big difference in psychological activity and hot springs. Based on these analysis results, this study suggested that the activities to focus on to vitalize wellness tourism in Jeju Island are natural healing activities, and related policies should be established based on this. In addition, when establishing marketing strategies related to wellness tourism, the difference between male and female tourists should be considered. In particular, it was suggested that different strategies should be used for male and female tourists for wellness tourism activities related to hot springs.

제주 헬스투어리즘 모델 정립을 위한 관광자원 경쟁요인 분석 - 의료간섭 기반 위계공간을 중심으로 -

세계적 고령화 현상과 새로운 라이프 스타일로 인하여 새로운 관광 형태인 헬스투어리즘은 전세계적으로 주목 받고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 헬스투어리즘의 경쟁 요인을 분석하고 이에 맞는 제주지역 헬스투어리즘 모델을 제안하는 것이다. 문헌 연구를 통해 헬스투어리즘의 개념과 유형에 대한 이론적 고찰과 경쟁 요인 도출, 그리고 의료간섭 위계공간에 대한 고찰을 진행하였다. 이어서 제주 지역 관광, 의료, 정책에 관한 전문가를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며 이를 바탕으로 하여 제주지역 헬스투어리즘의 경쟁 요인을 분석 한 결과, 제주지역 헬스투어리즘은 건강 서비스 공간보다 자연 치유 공간에서 중요성이 더 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 분석을 바탕으로 제주지역 헬스투어리즘은 자연치유공간과 비의료치유공간을 기반으로 자연자원, 치유자원, 활동자원 등 3가지 관광자원을 활용하는 모델을 제시하였다. The global aging phenomenon and new lifestyles have a worldwide attention to the new tourism form of health tourism. The purpose of this study is to analyze and suggest the competitive types of health tourism. Through the literature review, the theoretical base on the concept and type of health tourism and hierarchical spatial types such as medical space, semi-medical space, non-medical space, and natural healing space, based on medical intervention was established. A questionnaire survey was conducted for the professionals in Jeju area about tourism, health care, policy. As a result of analysis based on competitiveness advantage factors of Jeju health tourism, Jeju health tourism was confirmed to have higher importance in the natural healing space than the health service center space. Three kinds of resources such as natural resources, healing resources, and active resources of Jeju type health tourism were derived and applied to two hierarchical spaces, natural healing space and non-medical healing space, based on medical intervention.

주민참여가 유휴공간 장소성 형성요인과 관광객 행위의도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to determine how the factors that form the spatiality of an idle space affect the behavioral intention of tourists, and to confirm the role of local participation between the spatiality-forming factors and behavioral intentions. For this purpose, data from travelers was gathered and the study model was put to the test. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that physical factors, behavioral factors, and psychological factors had a significant effect on the intention of tourists. In addition, it was confirmed that local participation partially plays a mediating role between the spatiality-forming factors and behavioral intentions. According to the results of the study, the necessity of local participation and the measures were discussed when using the idle space, and it was suggested that additional research needs to be carried out targeting various idle spaces.
