신경망 특징맵 부호화를 위한 특징맵 재배열 및 압축 방법

최근 영상 혹은 비디오를 이용한 신경망 기반 기술들이 활발히 응용되고 있으며, 신경망이 처리하는 임무도 다양하고 복잡해지고 있다. 이러한 신경망 임무의 다양성과 복잡성은 더욱 많은 비디오 데이터를 요구하기 때문에 비디오 데이터를 효과적으로 전송할 방법이 필요하다. 이에 따라 국제 표준화 단체인 MPEG 에서는 신경망 기계 소비에 적합한 비디오 부호화 표준 개발을 위해서 Video Coding for Machines 표준화를 진행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 신경망의 특징 맵 부호화 효율을 개선하기 위해 특징 맵 채널 간의 유사도가 높도록 특징맵 채널을 재배열하여 압축하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안 방법으로 VCM 의 OpenImages 데이터셋의 5000 개 검증 영상 중 임의 선택된 360 개 영상에 대해 부호화 효율을 평가한 결과, 객체 검출 임무의 정확도가 유지되면서 모든 양자화 값에 대해 화소당 비트수가 감소했으며, BD-rate 측면에서 2.07%의 부호화 이득을 얻었다.

A strictly anaerobic bacterium, strain B5T, was isolated from sediment of an abandoned coal mine in Taebaek, Republic of Korea. Cells of strain B5T were non-spore-forming, straight, Gram-positive rods. The optimum pH and temperature for growth were pH 7.0 and 30°C, respectively, while the strain was able to grow within pH and temperature ranges of 5.5– 7.5 and 25–45°C, respectively. Growth of strain B5T was observed at NaCl concentrations of 0 to 6.0% (w/v) with an optimum at 3.0–4.0% (w/v). The polar lipids consisted of phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylglycerol, an unknown phospholipid and three unknown polar lipids. Strain B5T grew anaerobically by reducing nitrate, nitrite, ferric-citrate, ferric-nitrilotriacetate, elemental sulfur, thiosulfate, and anthraquinone- 2-sulfonate in the presence of proteinaceous compounds, organic acids, and carbohydrates as electron donors. The isolate was not able to grow by fermentation. Strain B5T did not grow under aerobic or microaerobic conditions. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that strain B5T is most closely related to the genus Tepidibacillus (T. fermentans STGHT; 96.3%) and Vulcanibacillus (V. modesticaldus BRT; 94.6%). The genomic DNA G+C content (36.9 mol%) of strain B5T was higher than those of T. fermentans STGHT (34.8 mol%) and V. modesticaldus BRT (34.5 mol%). Based on its phenotypic, chemotaxonomic, and phylogenetic properties, we describe a new species of a novel genus Calculibacillus, represented by strain B5T (=KCTC 15397T =JCM 19989T), for which we propose the name Calculibacillus koreensis gen. nov., sp. nov.

Arabinans can be synergistically degraded into L-arabinose and arabinooligosaccharides (AOS) by the actions of exo-arabinofuranosidase (AF) and endo-arabinanase (ABN). Bifidobacterium spp., the well-known probiotic bacteria, were reported to utilize linear AOS as the prebiotic carbohydrates. Two different endo-arabinanase genes were previously found and cloned from the genome of Bifidobacterium longum subsp. suis DSM 20211. In this study, the modes of action for both endo-arabinanases, BflsABN-B1 and B2, were comparatively characterized, and their gene cluster was analyzed in detail. The gene cluster analysis revealed that the corresponding contig 11 of Bf. longum subsp. suis includes several putative exo-acting AF genes, the ABC transporter-related genes, ATP-binding protein genes, as well as both ABNs-B. According to the gene cluster analysis, the extracellular BflsABN-B1 hydrolyzes arabinan polymers to the short chain AOS, which are imported into the cell membrane through the ABC transporters. Within a cell, AOS can be hydrolyzed into L-arabinose by an intracellular BflsABN-B2 and various exo-AFs. These results proposed the hypothetical enzymatic system for the arabinan utilization in Bf. longum subsp. suis.
