본 연구의 목적은 주요 프로스포츠팀 조직들의 젊은 성인층을 위한 마케팅 촉진 전략의 알려진 효과를 조사하는데 있다. X세대는 스포츠마케팅에 있어서 중요한 부분으로 21세에서 32살 사이의 출생집단을 말하며 전 미국인구의 17%를 차지하는 약 4700만명에 이른다. 이 연구의 대상자들은 프로 스포츠팀 조직에 있는 127명의 마케팅 책임자들로 30 MLB,30 NFL, 29 NBA, 27 NHL 그리고 11 MLS로 구성되었으며 각 기업 마케팅 책임자들이 설문지를 통해 젊은 성인 시장의 판매 촉진에 알려진 효과를 개선시킬 수 있도록 하였고 마케팅 저술지, 서적, 그리고 마케팅 촉진 전략에 관련된 이전의 연구들을 기초로 하여 작성되었다. 본 연구는 어떤 촉진전략들이 X세대시장에 접근하는데 있어서 가장 효과적인 것인가와 평균홈게임 참석과 마케팅효과 점수와의 관계, 어떤 광고와 판매촉진 전략들이 X세대 시장에 접근하는데 있어서 가장 효과적인지를 결정하기 위해 시도된다는 것이다. 시장 촉진 전략은 젊은 성인 시장에 접근하는데 있어서 가장 효과적으로 알려진 판매촉진이다. 인터넷 웹사이트는 젊은 성인시장에 접근하는데 있어 가장 효과적 광고 전략으로 인지되고 있으며, 또한 선수의 외모는 젊은 시장에 접근하는데 있어서 가장 효과적인 판매 촉진 전략으로 인지되어지고 있다.

A wrist wearable cuffless pulsimeter with a portable and small size apparatus using Hall effect is fabricated. The analysis of the pulse wave measured by the testing product of pulsimeter is done to measure the pulse rate and blood pressure. The blood pressure obtained by the puslimeter is compared with the practical values measured by electronic or mercury liquid blood pressure meters. The detail analysis of a pulse wave measured by a wrist wearable cuffless pulsimeter detecting the changes of the magnetic field can be used to develop a new diagnostic algorithm of blood pressure applying for oriental medical apparatus.
Primary Thoracic Sarcoma in Anterior Mediastinum

Most common anterior mediastinal mass is thymoma, lymphoma and teratoma. Sarcomas are rare connective tissue malignant neoplasm which can be affected various locations, most frequently occur in the extremities. In fact, primary mediastinal sarco-mas are extremely uncommon, less than 2% of all soft tissue sarcoma cases. The majority of primary thoracic sarcomas are originated from chest wall, pleural spaces and nerve sheath. Therefore, the primary thoracic sarcomas involved in the lung parenchyma are rarer with poor information regarding the proper management and its outcomes. Herein, we report a rare and interesting case of primary thoracic high-grade sarcoma occupying anterior mediastinum and left lower lobe of the lung of a 35-years-old man, with reviewing the previous reports and literatures.

<P>Bioactive poly(e-caprolactone)-siloxane hybrid material was newly developed and its in vitro and in vivo evaluations were made for the potential application as a bone substitute. The polymer precursor, triethoxysilane end capped poly(e-caprolactone) was prepared by the reaction with a,w-hydroxyl poly(e-caprolactone) and 3-isocyanatopropyl triethoxysilane with 1,4-diazabicyclo [2,2,2] octane as a catalyst and toluene as a solvent. The triethoxysilane end capped poly(e-caprolactone) was hydrolyzed and condensed to yield a hybrid sol-gel material. The gelation was carried out for 1 week at ambient condition in a covered Teflon mold with a few pinholes and then dried under vacuum at room temperature for 48 h. Its bioactivity was evaluated by examining the apatite formation on its surface in the SBF and its osteoconductivity was assessed in the tibia of white rabbit. The hybrid material showed apatite-forming ability in the SBF within 1 week soaking. Besides, new bone was formed on the surface of a cylindrical shaped specimen with no histologically demonstrable intervening non-osseous tissue after 6 weeks implantation. There was no evidence of inflammation or foreign body reaction. From the results, it can be concluded that this newly developed hybrid material has osteoconductivity and is likely to be used for the application as a bone graft substitute.</P>

<P>The effect of silica content in the PMMA/silica nano-composite on the mechanical properties and the growth behavior of apatite crystals were investigated. The PMMA/silica nano-composites with different silica content were synthesized through the sol-gel reaction with triethoxysilane end-capped PMMA and tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS). The compressive strength showed its maximum value when the content of TEOS was 20 wt% while the elastic modulus showed its maximum value when the content of TEOS was 60 wt%. The growth behavior of the apatite crystals following the cell culture showed different response according to the silica content. As increasing the TEOS content, the shape of the apatite crystals changed from globule-like structure to fiber-like one.</P>
