Seismic Response Analysis Method for Lining Structure in Underground Cavern of Hydropower Station

Based on the analysis of joint shear test, the complex shear strength model of the interface between surrounding rock and lining structure, considering the interfacial bonding characteristics, shear failure mechanism and seismic dynamic deterioration effect, is established. And based on the dynamic contact force method, the dynamic calculation method of contact surface is presented, which is suitable for the dynamic analysis of the contact system between surrounding rock and lining of underground powerhouse. Then the dynamic numerical simulation method for the lining structure of underground powerhouse is formed by coupling the complex shear strength model with the dynamic calculation method of the contact surface. By using this method and based on the independently developed dynamic calculation platform of underground powerhouse, the evolution process and characteristics of seismic damage of lining structure of Yingxiuwan underground powerhouse are studied. At the same time, the numerical simulation analysis is carried out on the vibration damping measures of the lining structure. The results shows that the dynamic numerical simulation method for lining structure is effective and reasonable. In addition, the idea on the aseismic design of lining structure of underground powerhouse is put forward.

As a form of overseas consumption in international education service trade, international student education is an important emerging industry today, and also an important boost for South Korea in the field of foreign investment and trade. Driven by South Korea's promotion of studying abroad in South Korea to the national strategic level, the scale of studying abroad in South Korea has shown a trend of rapid development. At the same time, South Korea's export trade has entered an important development period of industrial structure upgrading. In the context of globalization, a correct understanding and analysis of the impact of education in South Korea on South Korea's export trade will help improve the quality and efficiency of South Korea's export trade. This paper adopts the empirical analysis method to find out the impact of overseas education in South Korea on export trade ,and puts forward two assumptions to conduct a comprehensive discussion. From the empirical results, in general, the education of foreign students will significantly promote the expansion of South Korea's export trade. When dividing the scale, the regression results show that the countries with large scale of students studying in South Korea each year have a positive impact, while the countries with small scale do not have a significant impact. In the future, South Korea can further promote the construction of the brand of "studying in South Korea" in international education cooperation, improve talent attraction policies, and develop bilateral friendly diplomatic relations, so as to promote the development and upgrading of international talent inflow and South Korea's export trade.

The objective of this study was to assess the effects of constant high ambient temperatures on meat quality, antioxidant capacity, and carnosine expression in longissimus dorsi muscle of finishing pigs. Castrated 24 male DLY (crossbreeds between Landrace${\times}$Yorkshire sows and Duroc boars) pigs were allocated to one of three treatments: constant ambient temperature at $22^{\circ}C$ and ad libitum feeding (CON, n = 8); constant high ambient temperature at $30^{\circ}C$ and ad libitum feeding (H30, n = 8); and constant ambient temperature at $22^{\circ}C$ and pair-fed with H30 (PF, n = 8). Meat quality, malondialdehyde (MDA) content, antioxidant capacity, carnosine content, and carnosine synthetase (CARNS1) mRNA expression in longissimus dorsi muscle were measured after three weeks. The results revealed that H30 had lower $pH_{24h}$, redness at 45 min, and yellowness at 24 h post-mortem (p<0.05), and higher drip loss at 48 h and lightness at 24 h post-mortem (p<0.01). Constant heat stress disrupted the pro-oxidant/antioxidant balance in longissimus dorsi muscle with higher MDA content (p<0.01) and lower antioxidant capacity (p<0.01). Carnosine content and CARNS1 mRNA expression in longissimus dorsi muscle of H30 pigs were significantly decreased (p<0.01) after three weeks at $30^{\circ}C$. In conclusion, constant high ambient temperatures affect meat quality and antioxidant capacity negatively, and the reduction of muscle carnosine content is one of the probable reasons.
Entomopathogenic fungi-mediated biological control of the red palm weevil Rhynchophorus ferrugineus

The red palm weevil (RPW), Rhynchophorus ferrugineus, is an important pest of palms, and difficult to control by conventional methods. Therefore, microbial control is an alternative strategy for controlling RPW. Herein, a total of 15 entomopathogenic fungi (EPFs) were subjected to primary pathogenicity screening against last stage of RPW larvae. The preliminary data showed that four Beauveria bassiana isolates (JEF-484, 158, 462 and 507) and one Isaria fumosorosea isolate (JEF-014) resulted in 100 % mortality within 5–10 days post inoculation (d.p.i.), respectively. According to the time required for RPW mortality, JEF-484, 158, 462 and 014 were further sub jected to bioassays using 10 7 conidia/ml suspensions by spraying method. Based on the results, JEF-484 showed the highest mortality and shortest LT 50 on the last stage of RPW larvae, followed by JEF-158. The two isolates also showed good conidial production and high thermal stability compared to the other isolates. Therefore, JEF-484 and JEF-158 were selected for bioassays against RPW egg and the last larval stage with different concen trations of 10 5 , 10 6 and 10 7 conidia/ml conidial suspensions by spraying method. For the bioassay at the egg stage, JEF-158 showed a significantly higher ovicidal effect than JEF-484. In the larval bioassay, both EPF isolates showed a dosage-dependent effect on the RPW larvae. JEF-484 caused higher mortality in RPW larvae than JEF-158. In summary, the combination of the 2 promising EPF isolates might provide an opportunity for the practical microbial control of RPW at different life stages in palm tree fields.

무인자동차에 관한 연구가 활성화되면서 무인 주차 또한 중요한 과제로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 무인 차량을 위한 주차 편의 시스템 설계를 위하여 퍼지논리시스템에 의한 주차 알고리즘 설계를 제안하고자 한다. 기존의 논문들이 제시한 장단점을 분석하여 새로운 단일 입력을 가지는 퍼지논리시스템을 통한 주차 알고리즘을 설계하고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 그 효용성을 확인하고자 한다. Recently, autonomous parking problems have attracted a great deal of attention and have been examined in many papers in the literature. In this paper we design a fuzzy logic based parking system which is an important part for designing an autonomous parking system. We first analysis the existed papers and design a single-input fuzzy logic system for the parking algorithm and illustrate the effectiveness of the new method via the simulation results.

The ride-through control of a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) for the voltage sags on wind farms utilizing crowbar circuits by which the rotor side converter (RSC) is disabled has being reported in many literatures. An analysis and calculation of the transient current when the RSC is switched off are of significance for carrying out the low voltage ride through (LVRT) of a DFIG. The mathematical derivation is highlighted in this paper. The zero-state and zero-input responses of the transient current in the frequency domain through a Laplace transformation are investigated, and the transient components in the time domain are achieved. With the characteristics worked out from the linear resolving without modeling simplification, the selection of the resistance in the linear crowbar circuit and the value conversion from a linear circuit to a nonlinear one is proposed to setup the attenuation rate. In terms of grid code requirements, the theoretical analysis for the time constant of the transient components attenuation insures the controllability when the excitation of the RSC is resumed and it guarantees the reserved time for the response of the reactive power compensation. Simulations are executed in MATLAB/SIMPOWER and experiments are carried out to validate the theoretical analysis. They indicate that the calculation method is effective for selection of the resistance in a crowbar circuit for LVRT operations.

The hot syndrome refers to any feverish conditionsduring a pathological development, a sub-healthphenomenon, and is a potential risk for human health. Themetabonomics study on the hot syndrome may provideinsight into understanding of its pathology and play a rolein the prevention and treatment of its related diseases. Inthis paper, the rats were dosed with the hot syndromeprescription, ginseng and water. The corresponding urinesamples were identified by rapid resolution liquid chromatographycombined with quadrupole time-of-flight tandemmass spectrometry. More than 1,000 metaboliccompounds from different urine samples could be furtherdifferentiated by principal component analysis. As a result,the rat body temperature and weight were recognized as thehot syndrome related factors. Some specific metaboliteshave been discovered as a pattern of the potential biomarkers for the hot syndrome. The results showed thatginseng cannot cause the hot syndrome in a reasonabledose, but the hot syndrome prescription can. It is suggestedthat ginseng cannot be used only as a tradition Chinesemedicine but also as a nutrient. The work showed metabonomicsmethod is a valuable tool in studying mechanismof the hot syndrome.
