      • Cathelin-related antimicrobial peptide (CRAMP)의 화학합성 및 구조- 항생물활성

        CRAMP, a cathelin-related antimicrobial peptide was identified from cDNA sequence derived from mouse bone marrow cells. In this study, in order to investigate the structure-antibiotic function relationships of CRAMP, the mature CRAMP was synthesized by solid phase method using Fmoc-chemistry. CRAMP showed more potent antimicrobial activity against gram-positive bacteria than gram-negative bacteria. Minimum inhibitory concentrations of CRAMP against Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli were 3.125-6.25μM and 50μM, respectively. CRAMP displayed a powerful antitumor activity against human small cell lung cancer cell lines (50% growth inhibitory concentration : 13 μM). However, CRAMP did not show hemolytic activity against human erythrocytes at peptide concentration of 50 μM. CD spectra analysis showed that CRAMP will form an amphipathic α-helical structure similar to other antimicrobial peptides such as cecropins, melittin and magainins.

        In the present study the hepatoprotective and antioxidative effects of Epimedium koreanum (EK) and Salicornia herbacea (SH) were investigated against carbon tetrachloride (CCl_(4))-induced liver damage in rats. EK and SH (100 mg/kg) were administered into rats intraperitoneally (i.p) for 2 weeks. After CCl_(4) a dose of 3.3ml/kg was administered to induce hepatotoxicity. This antioxidative effects of EK and SH on CCl_(4) -treated rats were measured through the activity of Aspartate aminotransferase (AST), Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) in serum and Superoxide dismutase (SOD), Catalase (CAT) in liver tissue. EK or SH-administered and CCl_(4) -treated (ECT or SCT) groups showed inhibitory effects in AST and ALT activities compared to CCl_(4) -treated control (CTC) group. SOD and CAT in ECT and SCT groups were increased compared to those of CTC group.

        The contents of capsaicin and dihydrocapsaicin were analyzed by HPLC. Also the contents of vitamin C were investigated in red pepper, green pepper and pimento. The shell of red pepper contained more capsaicin and dihydrocapsaicin than the seed. The contents varied according to the cultivated area and the dry condition of red pepper. Vitamin C was null in the shell and seed of dried red pepper. The pimento contained about 2 times more vitamin C than the green pepper.

        다이옥신 저해능에 대한 어성초의 항산화 활성 효과

        This study investigated the effects of Houttuynia Cordata thunb(HCT) administration on the biochemical parameters of function in liver of 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) treated rats. Houttuynia Cordata thunb (200㎎/㎏) was administeres into rats intraperitoneally for four weeks , seven days after the injection of TCDD(1㎛/㎏). We examined the antioxidative enzymatic activity by measuring the level of AST, ALT , SOD and Catalase in serum and liver tissue of rats. HCT group showed 49% of inhibitive effect in AST activity compared to TANO group. ALT level of HCT group was decreased to the level of NO group. SOD and Catalase in TANO group were lower than in NO group, but SOD and Catalase in HCT group were increased by 46% and by 50% respectively compared to TANO group.

        In this paper, we propose a bidirectional mobile Ad Hoc routing protocol based on AODV(ad-hoc on-demand distance vector routing) with QoS(quality of service) support. At presence, wireless mobile communication focuses on how to efficiently support mobility of users more than QoS guarantee. However, in order to satisfy requirement of various applications which have been or will be served, QoS guarantee between end points is a very important issue. The existing AODV routing protocol is implemented to use only BE (Best Effort) service. However, actual wireless mobile environment requires to reduce a waste of communication resources and meet with the real-time change of data paths by setting up routes with QoS support, considering available communication resources at each node in advance. Therefore, in this thesis, we propose an adaptive QoS support method using hello message in order to rapidly meet with the change of available communication resources and to smoothly perform route maintenance. For performance evaluation, we analyzed the average data reception rate. At that time, we used evaluation parameters such as node's mobility-stop time, hello message period, and packet priority, considering the node's mobility and the number of best effort/QoS data flows. As results, we found that with our proposed method the average data reception rate was increased 16.293%, 15.914%, 17.238% for 300 mobility-stop second case and 4.809%, 4.264%, 2.956% for 300 mobility-stop second case.

        The results of the comparative experiment for colour, total sodium choloride, protein, calcium, etc. between ordinary soy sauce and market soy sauce are as follows. Ordinary soy sauce had the deeper colour and the more stinking odor than market soy sauce. Ordinary soy sauce was more acidic than market soy sauce because of its lower pH and higher total acid. This means that ordinary soy sauce has fresher and better taste. The total sodium chloride concentrations of ordinary soy sauce and market soy sauce are 25% and 18∼20% respectively. We had better use less ordinary soy sauce than market soy sauce. Ordinary soy sauce had more calcium and protein. This means that ordinary soy sauce has the higher nutritional level than market soy sauce. market soy sauce had more methione than ordinary soy sauce but ordinary soy sauce had more tyrosine and phenylalanine, neither of both had tryptophane. Tyrosine and phenylalanine are the major stinking constituents of soy sauce.

        A great deal of attention has been directed recently at the roles played by lipidperoxides in the mediation of pathogenesis and complications of various disease. In view of the strong inhibitory of brazilin on the lipidperoxidation. I examined the effects of brazilin on the composition of fatty acid in diabetic mice, but it was recovered to a normal pattern by brazilin treatment. In diabetic mice, the contents of linoleic acid, oleic acid were significantly decreased but that of arachidonic acid was increased. In case of brazilin treatment, the relative content of each fatty acid was restord to a animal state.

      • 간 손상에 대한 Ginseng saponin의 보호효과

        The effects of Ginseng saponin(GS) administration on the biochemical parameters of function in liver of CCl_(4) treated rats were investigated. Ginseng Saponin was administered into rats intraperitoneally everyday for 2 weeks. On the 14th day, CCl_(4)(3.3m1/kg) was injected into rats. Rats were anesthesized with ether and dissected 12 hours later. We examined the antioxidative enzymatic activity by measuring the level of AST and ALT in serum and SOD, Catalase, GSH, GSSG and GPx in liver tissue of rats. GS group showed 36.8% of inhibitive effect in AST activity compared to CCl_(4)treated group. ALT level of GS treated rats were decreased to the level of normal group. SOD and Catalase in GS group were increased by 65.6%, 90.8% respestively compared to CCl_(4)-treated group. The Glutathione activity of GS group was increased by 123%.

        This stduy carried out to investigate the precipitating loss amount und energy by structural polarity of electrostatic precipitator at the different conditions of precipitatation time, high voltage and gas speed. As part of this wark was the dependence of the amount in the collector zone of a one- and two stage set up feld by precipitating time and gas speed. This advanced Model1 is developed by Research of the different parameter as the conventionnal study of modell. In order to investigate Opeartion efficiency of electrostatic precipitator, the amount of knocking losss was measured with concentration-Measuring of Monitik-treubung.
