This paper presents the Effective Traffic Control Algorithm in ATM Network to solve the problem of Push Out Buffer Sharing Algorithm and Partial Buffer Sharing Algorithm among the Compound Priority Control Algorithm. This paper also proposes the Effective Traffic Control Algorithm in ATM Network to solve defects that buffer using efficency drops in consequency of leaving the buffer after threshold for the high priority cell of Partial Buffer Sharing Algorithm, and to solve defects which Algorithm embodiment, converting low priority cell into high priority cell in buffer, is complicate when high priority cell arrives after occurring the overflow which is a defects of Push Out Buffer Sharing Algorithm. The Solution is that doing away with all low priority cells which is reached after threshold, so that the embodiment of the algorithm is simple. To rise the efficiency of the using buffer, the algorithm can use buffer, after threshold which the algorithm makes threshold converted,. As the reinstatement value of threshold individually defines that low priority cell and high priority cell arrive after occurring the overflow, the loss rate can be better than the existing algorithm. A result of comparative analysis through the simulation which sets on the basis of Push Out Buffer Sharing Algorithm and Partial Buffer Sharing Algorithm proves that proposal algorithm effectively could cope with a high priority cell oriented traffic and a low priority cell oriented traffic as a device which is satisfied with high buffer using efficiency, good points of Push Out Buffer Sharing Algorithm, and easy embodiment, good points of Partial Buffer Sharing Algorithm.

In this paper, 1 suggest OTAA(Optimal Task Allocation Algorithm) that is used optimal task allocation in distributed system. Using this algorithm, communication cost is minimal, the performance improves, and load balancing is accomplished.
The Efficient Functional Game Design for Silver Generation
Beom-Seok Kim,Gi-Taek Hur,Young-Hyuk Ko 한국콘텐츠학회 2009 ICCC International Digital Design Invitation Exhib Vol.2009 No.12
Recent games regarded as a cultural activity that offers pleasure to a number of people could be categorized into conventional entertaining games and functional games having their own utility and purpose for a specific generation or a function. Functional games or contents have various application areas such as education, advertisement, medical treatments, handicapped persons, older generation games, fitness games, military games, and so on. Functional games for old generation called senior games generally have entertaining characteristics and specific purposes for older generation - to improve physical and spiritual health and to maintain their bodily function. In this paper, we propose an infrared sensor based functional game interface that creates beats and sound. It measures the distance between the hand of gamer and a sensor, and creates the beats and sound using the measured distance.

In computer graphics, fluid dynamics are used for animating and expressing the various special effects of water. Although the algorithms that were impossible through the hardware at that time become to be possible in real time, it still requires a lot of time to achieve the realistic and detailed expressions. Therefore, there are many researches on the techniques of balancing between performance and quality. Specially in environments with the game context which express the interaction between water surface and 3D objects in the wide area such as sea or lake according to user's request, it must give priority to the executive performance preserving the visual reality even though physical reality is sacrificed. In this paper, we propose a method for the realtime animation of interaction between water surface and 3D objects using the linear convolution of height fields and the bounding spheres of objects.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Lithospermic acid B (LAB), an active component isolated from <I>Salvia miltiorrhizae</I>, has been reported to have renoprotective effects in type 1 diabetic animal models. In the present study we investigated the effects of LAB on the prevention of diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetic Otsuka Long-Evans-Tokushima Fatty (OLETF) rats. LAB (20?mg/kg) was given orally once daily to 10-week-old male OLETF rats for 28?weeks. Treatment of OLETF rats with LAB had little effects on body weight and blood glucose levels. Treatment with LAB resulted in significant reduction in blood pressure. LAB markedly attenuated albuminuria and significantly lowered levels of lipid peroxidation, monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), and transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β1) expression in renal tissues of OLETF rats. In addition, LAB inhibited the progression of glomerular hypertrophy, mesangial expansion, and expansion of the extracellular matrix in the renal cortex. Collectively, these results suggest that LAB has beneficial effects on the diabetic nephropathy in OLETF rats by decreasing blood pressure, oxidative stress, and MCP-1 expression. Our results suggest that LAB might be a new therapeutic agent for the prevention of nephropathy in type 2 diabetes.</P>
