Background Coptisine is a natural alkaloid compound and is known to have multiple benefcial efects including antioxidant activity. However, whether it can protect lung fbroblasts from oxidative damage has not been studied yet. Objectives To investigate the potential inhibitory efect of coptisine against oxidative stress in V79-4 lung fbroblast cells. Methods V79-4 cells were treated with H2O2 (1 mM) in the presence or absence of coptisine (50 µg/ml), N-acetyl cysteine (NAC, 10 mM) or zinc protoporphyrin IX (ZnPP, 10 µM) for the indicated times. The alleviating efects of coptisine on cytotoxicity, cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, DNA damage, mitochondrial dynamics, and inhibition of ATP production against H2O2 were investigated. Western blot analysis was used to analyze the expression levels of specifc proteins. Results Coptisine inhibited H2O2-induced cytotoxicity and DNA damage by blocking abnormal ROS generation. H2O2 treatment caused cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase accompanied by increased expression of cyclin-dependent kinase (Cdk) inhibitor p21WAF1/CIP1 and decreased expression of cyclin B1 and cyclin A. However, these efects were attenuated in the presence of coptisine or NAC. Coptisine also prevented apoptosis by decreasing the rate of Bax/Bcl-2 expression in H2O2-stimulated cells and suppressing the loss of mitochondrial membrane potential and the cytosolic release of cytochrome c. In addition, the activation of nuclear factor-erythroid-2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) and heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) was markedly promoted by coptisine in the presence of H2O2. However, zinc protoporphyrin IX, a potent inhibitor of HO-1, attenuated the ROS scavenging and anti-apoptotic efects of coptisine. Conclusions Based on current data, we suggest that coptisine can be used as a potential treatment for oxidative stress-related lung disease.

In this paper, we proposed a new robust control scheme to implement stable control of robot manipulators including nonlinear perameters The proposed robust controller is composed of a nonlinear controller and linear compemsation controller. It shows a good robust performance in reaching mode which does not possess invariance property. Thus, the proposed nonlinear controller showed a good robust performance in the whole region, It was illustrated that the proposed control showed a good transient response and trajectory tracking performance for robot manipulator with four joint by experiments.

Unlike mouse results, cloning efficiency of nuclear transfer from porcine induced pluripotent stem cells (piPSCs) is very low. The present study was performed to investigate the effect of cell cycle inhibitors on the cell cycle synchronization of piPSCs. piPSCs were generated using combination of six human transcriptional factors under stem cell culture condition. To examine the efficiency of cell cycle synchronization, piPSCs were cultured on a matrigel coated plate with stem cell media and they were treated with staurosporine (STA, 20 nM), daidzein (DAI, $100{\mu}M$), roscovitine (ROSC, $10{\mu}M$), or olomoucine (OLO, $200{\mu}M$) for 12 h. Flow Cytometry (FACs) data showed that piPSCs in control were in G1 ($37.5{\pm}0.2%$), S ($34.0{\pm}0.6%$) and G2/M ($28.5{\pm}0.4%$). The proportion of cells at G1 in DAI group was significantly higher than that in control, while STA, ROSC and OLO treatments could not block the cell cycle of piPSCs. Both of viability and apoptosis were affected by STA and ROSC treatment, but there were no significantly differences between control and DAI groups. Real-Time qPCR and FACs results revealed that DAI treatment did not affect the expression of pluripotent gene, Oct4. In case of OLO, it did not affect both of viability and apoptosis, but Oct4 expression was significantly decreased. Our results suggest that DAI could be used for synchronizing piPSCs at G1 stage and has any deleterious effect on survival and pluripotency sustaining of piPSCs.
Effect of 35% Carbamide Peroxide on Enamel : Hardness, Structure, and Composition

본 연구는 35% carbamide peroxide가 법랑질의 표면현상, 미세경도, 조성 및 미네랄함량에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아 보는데 있다. 이를 위하여 발거한 소구치를 절단, 연마하여 35% carbamide peroxide로 3주간 1 hour/week 조건으로 미색하였다. 비료를 위하여 절단한 치아를 증류수에 3주산 보관하였다. SEM과 FT-Raman spectrophotometer를 이용하여 표면형상과 조성 변화를 관찰하였고, 200-g load 와 15-초 dwelling time조건으로 미세 경로를 관찰하였으며, 미백 후 치아구성 원소(칼슘, 인, 불소, 마그세슘, 아연)의 함량을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 형상변화는 무시될 정도였다. 증류수에 둔 치아와 미백산 치아사이에는 유의한 미세경로 차이가 있었다. 그러나 원래의 경로값에 비하여 변화된 값은 아주 작았다. 조성 변화도 무시될 정도였다. 치아 구성원소의 총량은 90.57±1.74에서 86.32±1.98(증류수에 담군 치아)와 84.96±2.25(미백한 치아)로 약간 감소하였다. 그러나 미색한 치아와 증류수에 준 치아사이의 차이는 통계적으로 유의성이 없었다.

본 연구는 30% 과산화수소 미백제가 치아의 색조변화와 안전성에 대한 효과를 이해하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 교정 목적으로 발거한 25개의 소구치를 치근방향으로 수직되도록 절단하고 레진에 식립하여 미세연마 하였다. 준비된 시료를 10cc의 30%과산화수소에서 미백하고 그 후치아의 색조변화, 표면변화, 경도변화, 조성변화와 탈회정도를 관찰하였다. 이를 위하여 UV-VIS-NIR 분광기, 주사전자현미경, 경도시험기, FT-Raman 분광기 그리고 전자탐침미세분석기를 이용하였다. 그 결과, 치아에서의 색변화는 미백횟수가 증가할수록 선형적으로 증가하여서 희게 되었다. 미백제로 주당 1시간 총 3주간 미백한 치아의 형상변화는 3주간 계속 증류수에 담가둔 치아와 별다른 차이를 보이지 않았다. 법랑질의 경도변화 역시 미백한 법랑질 시료와 대조군 사이에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다.(p>0.05). 미백한 법랑질에서는 대조군에 비하여 미미한 Raman intensity의 감소이외에는 아무런 분광학적인 차이가 없었다. 미백한 법랑질의 무기원소 총량은 86.49±1.89 이어서 증류수에만 담가둔 대조군의 무기원소 총량 85.18±1.67와 비교했을 때 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 3주정도의 짧은 기간동안 치과의사의 지시를 받으면서 하는 30% hydrogen peroxide 치아미백은 색변화에 효과적이며 안전하다고 할 수 있다.

The study reviewed and evaluated the management status and usefulness of more than 30 items through basic statistical annual reports of national parks, state parks, and military parks from 2009 to 2018. The results of this study are as follows. In terms of the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources, the evaluation of the effectiveness of management of animal and plant resources, endangered species resources, cultural resources, and landscape resources management shows that national parks with the largest scale, budget support and input in all areas utility was the lowest compared to provincial and county parks. In terms of facility management, the utility of national parks was lowest than that of provincial and military parks. In the area of safety management and use management, it is generally well managed in terms of area and management cost, but more active and practical use management is needed to cope with the change in demand of users due to the change of accessibility and visit type. Judging. In conclusion, this study surveyed the management status of 78 natural parks in 22 national parks, 29 provincial parks and 27 county parks in Korea. There were many places, and because the responsibility and management of administrative districts were not clear, integrated park management was difficult. Therefore, provincial and military parks, which are mandated as local governments, recognize the weakness of local financial conditions and expertise in park management, and in order to overcome their differences with the national park, We believe it is necessary to improve and supplement the management system such as government policy reflection and active financial support.
