Homogenized 현탁중합에 의한 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트 고분자 입자의 제조 및 특성

In this study, homogenized suspension polymerization of methyl methacrylate(MMA) using poly (vinyl- alcohol) (PVA) as suspension stabilizer and benzoyl peroxide(BPO) as initiator was carried out with various polymerization variables. Particle size, distribution, exothermic peak according to the polymerization condition were observed. Particle size of 5~80㎛ was prepared via homogenized suspension polymerization. Particle size was influenced by the concentration of suspension stabilizer and homogenizer speeds. The average particle diameter decreased with PVA concentration and homogenizer speeds, and increased with BPO concentration. Exothermic peak was also influenced by the stirring speed, concentration of suspension stabilizer and initiator.

We investigated the effects of nano-silica on the kinetic and film properties of UV curable coatings. Coating properties such as hardness, gloss, chemical and stain resistances and adhesion of the UV cured films containing various concentration of nano-silica were investigated. The matting, pencil hardness, chemical resistance, and abrasion resistances were apparently improved Via addition of nano-silica. Pendulum hardness was also enhanced with the increasing content of nano-silica up to 5 weight percent. However, the pendulum hardness and the adhesion decreased as nano-silica content increased above 10 weight percent. DPC analysis revealed that the presence of nano-silica in UV curable coating formulation enhanced photo curing. It was demonstrated that hardness. abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance of UV cured film can be increased without loss of optical properties through nanocomposite.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the health status and health behavior practices of elders living in urban areas. Methods: The participants were selected by convenience sampling and consisted of 137 elders 65 or over living in a city in Kyunggi Province. Data collection was done through interviews using a structured questionnaire. Results: Of the participants. 66.4% perceived their health status as 'not healthy'. The average number of present illnesses reported by the elders was 1.7. The average scores for health behavior practices were low (smoking cessation: 1.64, drinking abstinence: 1.79, exercise: 0.40, regular diet: 1.54, weight control: 1.67, regular physical check-up: 0.77). The scores for health behaviors practices showed significant differences according to general characters and health status. Conclusion: Health promotion programs for elders should be designed to enhance health behaviors practices.

All women eventually experience the Menopause. After doing research for the last 10 years, I would like to suggest some sports programs for maintaining physical condition, training, improvement, and for keeping their bone density for women in their menopause. First, a resistant sports program will not only have influence on women's health during the menopause, but it also changes cardiovascular efficiency and body flexibility a lot. Second, women can maintain and keep bone density by doing weight resistance sports during the menopause. Third, if aerobic exercise and resistant sports would be mixed in a balanced way, women can maximize effectiveness of sports during the menopause. In conclusion, even when women don’t exercise before menopause and if they start working out, the possibility of danger after menopause will be less and less and visa versa. The results are even better though when women exercise before menopause.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the correlation of the characteristics of dwellers and residential satisfaction in apartment housing. The contents of this research is to identify characteristics of dwellers, which might have an influence on residential satisfaction in apartment housing. In conclusion, the number of a family, the floor level, the size of housing unit and tenure had statistically significant correlations with the residential satisfaction in apartment housing.

Tapered H-shaped beams are often used in the structures with large spans and roof crane running beams; for the purpose of member self-weight reduction and appropriately architectural representation. The purpose of this study is to represent an accurate calculation method for tapered beam deformations, based on elastic theories. In this study, equations for beam deformation calculation of whole span tapered or partly tapered beams are represented and compared with structural analysis results of generally used commercial computer program. The equations of Moment of Inertia for tapered H-shaped beams, which may have different width and thickness of their flanges or top and bottom flanges, are induced as well. Compared with the result of generally used structural analysis program, the results of this study will be confirmed for practical use.

In this study, the potential energy and limitation of the facility of Chungju national university are analyzed in the respect of human knowledge, nature, and visual environment. In addition, the effctiveness and problem of the existing master plan are evaluated through the investigation on the main hart and development procedure of the previous master plan of CJU. These results are compared and reflected to the plan of Vision 2003, e-STRR2010 and effective campus development plans of CJU are presented.

A precipitation method was adopted in order to prepare high-tech Al₂O₃ceramics. Al₂(SO₄)₃·18H₂O was used as a starting materials and alumimum hydroxides were obtained by single precipitation method at the pH condition 7 and 11, using NH₄OH as a precipitation agent. Fine Al₂O₃powders were prepared at optimum calcination condition and were sintered at 1650℃ for 4 h in air. Microstructures and mechhanical properties of Al₂O₃ceramics were investigated. Doped MgO limited the grain growth of Al₂O₃and increased grain size homogeneity of Al₂O₃Flexural stregth values were 340∼430 MPa. Critical temperature difference?? was 175 K showing rapid strength degradation by thermal shock.

The aim of this study was to evaluation the effect of 4weeks agility ladder exercise on body composition and physical fitness. Primary school students(n=7) participated in the aerobic exercise and agility Ladder exercise program(HRmax 60~80%, 55min/day, 5days/week). We measured their body composition and physical fitness items such as body weight(BW), Na+/K+, body cell mass(BCM), total body water(TBW), fat mass(FM), percent body fat(%BF), fat free mass(FFM), muscle mass(MM), basal metabolic rate(BMR), body mass index(BMI), flexibility, balance and hand grasping power......
