GaoLi,Sun-YoungLee,Kyeung-SeonLee,Sung-WonLee,Sang-HyunKim,Seung-HoLee,Chong-SoonLee,Mi-HeeWoo,Jong-KeunSon 대한약학회 2003 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.26 No.6
Nine diarylheptanoids (1-9), one triterpene (10), one sesquiterpenoid (11), one naphthoquinone (12), four tetralones (13-16), one naphthalene carboxylic acid glucoside (17) and six naphthalenyl glycosides (18 -23) were isolated from the roots of Juglans mandshurica Maximowicz (Juglandaceae), and their structures determined from the chemical and spectral data. Here, we report the inhibitory effects, on the DNA topoisomerases I and II activities, of all these compounds. Compounds 10 and 23 showed more potent inhibitory effects, on the DNA topoisomerases I and II (94.0 and 86.0% inhibitions at the concentration of 5 mg/mL, respectively), than the positive control compounds, camptothecin and etoposide.

Gao Li,Byung-Sun Min,Changji Zheng,Joongku Lee,Sei-Ryang Oh,Kyung-Seop Ahn,Hyeong-Kyu Lee 대한약학회 2005 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.28 No.7
The EtOAc-soluble fraction from a methanolic extract of Hovenia dulcis Thunb. exhibited neuroprotective activity against glutamate-induced neurotoxicity in mouse hippocampal HT22 cells. The neuroprotective activity-guided isolation resulted in 8 phenolic compounds (1-8), such as vanillic acid (1), ferulic acid (2), 3,5-dihydroxystilbene (3), (+)-aromadendrin (4), methyl vanillate (5), (-)-catechin (6), 2,3,4-trihydrobenzoic acid (7), and (+)-afzelechin (8). Among these, compounds 6 and 8 had a neuroprotective effect on the glutamate-induced neurotoxicity in HT22 cells. Furthermore, compound 6 had a DPPH free radical scavenging effect with an IC50 value of 57.7 µM, and a superoxide anion radical scavenging effect with an IC50 value of 8.0 µM. Both compounds 6 and 8 had ABTS cation radical scavenging effects with IC50 values of 7.8 µM and 23.7 µM, respectively. These results suggest that compounds 6 and 8 could be neuroprotectants owing to their free radical scavenging activities.

Gao Li,Jung-Hee Kim,Guanghai Shen,Joongku Lee,Hyeong-Kyu Lee,오세량 한국응용생명화학회 2011 Applied Biological Chemistry (Appl Biol Chem) Vol.54 No.2
The anticomplement activity-guided fractionation of the methanol extract of Euphorbia kansui L. resulted in isolation of three diterpenes, two triterpenes, and two sterols (1-7) from ethyl acetate fraction. By spectroscopic analysis, their chemical structures were elucidated as: β-amyrin (1); kansuiphorin C (2); 3-O-(2'E,4'Z-decadienoyl)-ingenol (3); 3-O-(2,3-dimethylbutyryl)-13-O-ndodecanoyl-13-hydroxyingenol (4); β-sitosterol (5); α-euphol (6); β-sitosterol-3-O-β-Dglucopyranoside (7). These compounds were investigated in vitro for their anticomplement activity against the classical pathway of the complement system, with compounds 2-4 exhibiting significant anticomplement activity with respective 50% inhibitory concentration values of 44.1±3.8, 89.5±5.5, and 152.1±6.2 μM.

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) identifies a specific object by radio signals. As the tag provides a unique ID for the purpose of identification, RFID technology effectively solves the ambiguity and occlusion problem that challenges the laser or camera-based approach. This paper proposes an approach to track a moving object based on the integration of RFID and laser ranging information using a particle filter. To be precise, we split laser scan points into different clusters which contain the potential moving objects and calculate the radial velocity of each cluster. The velocity information is compared with the radial velocity estimated from RFID phase difference. In order to achieve the positioning of the moving object, we select a number of best matching clusters to update the weights of the particle filter. To further improve the positioning accuracy, we incorporate RFID signal strength information into the particle filter using a pre-trained sensor model. The proposed approach is tested on a SCITOS service robot under different types of tags and various human velocities. The results show that fusion of signal strength and laser ranging information has significantly increased the positioning accuracy when compared to radial velocity matching-based or signal strength-based approaches. The proposed approach provides a solution for human machine interaction and object tracking, which has potential applications in many fields for example supermarkets, libraries, shopping malls, and exhibitions.

With the rapid and bursting development of computer science and related technology, the design and optimization of network topology has been a most important issue for thee researchers to solve. However, the increasing needs of the current control schemes have already been shown. In this paper, we theoretically analysis the features of neural network structure and convex optimization related method. There are a lot of shortcomings but the cable network should be restricted the wiring in some situations, for example, wiring, reroute workload big, easy to damage, in the network, each node cannot move and so on. With the mathematical optimization, game theory, mathematical economics and optimal control theory to the development of disciplines, convex analysis are increasingly brought to the attention of the people. Our proposed methodology combines the neural network and optimization theory to obtain better performance, the experimental result shows the performance of our approach compared with other state-of-the-art algorithms.
