The purpose of this study was to investigate the purchase behavior, the level of shopping satisfaction for inbound Chinese tourists buying fashion products and the analysis of the influence of fashion product purchase criteria and effects of store attributes toward shopping satisfaction in Korea. Subjects were selected through convenient sampling technique in Incheon International Airport. A self-administered questionnaire was developed in Chinese by translation and back-translation method. Finally, 284 questionnaire out of 420 were used for data analysis. To analyze data, factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, etc. were carried out. A used statistical package was PASW 18.0. The analysis results were as follows. First, most of the repondents were women in 20s and 30s, who were purchasing fashion products more than other during the period of travel. Second, the product purchase criteria were identified as ``practicality``, ``design and quality``, ``memorabilia`` and ``hallyu``. As the analysis results, shopping satisfaction was influenced by ``design and quality`` and ``hallyu``. Thirdly, the effects of store attributes were identified as ``product``, ``environment`` and ``employees``. and customer`s shopping satisfaction was influenced by all of those. By the end of this paper, For the purpose of achieving more competitive fashion products, the 4P marketing strategies targeting Chinese tourists were discussed based on the results.

수많은 연구에서 기업은 외부환경에 대응하기 위해 전략적인 선택을 한다는 사실을 보여주고 있다. 또한 기업은 전략실행을 지원하기 위해 관리통제시스템을 이용하여 조직의 성과를 향상시키고 있다. 그러나 이러한 문헌은 대부분 보다 발전된 서방 경제의 기업에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이러한 관계가 중국 기업에서도 유효한지의 여부는 아직 실증적으로 확인되지 않았다. 중국이 세계에서 가장 거대한 수․출입 국가 중에 하나가 되어 가고 있지만, 과도기의 경제에서는 기업의 도전과 기회에 대응하기 위한 경영자의 동기부여나 능력을 억압할 수 있는 속성을 가지고 있기 때문에 본 연구의 문제 제기는 타당하다고 판단된다. 본 연구는 중국 제조기업 92개로부터 획득한 데이터를 분석하였는데, 많은 인지가능한 장애에도 불구하고 전략적으로 성장을 강조하는 기업은 그들이 직면한 경쟁과 불확실성에 빠르게 대응한다는 것을 발견하였다. 중국의 기업은 불확실한 상황에서 서방의 기업에서 발견된 정반대의 방향으로 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 서구권 국가처럼 중국에서도 성장을 강조하는 기업은 균형있고 통합된 PMS의 이용이 증가하는 경향이 있고, 그 결과 기업은 좋은 성과를 달성하는 것으로 나타났다. 중국 기업의 글로벌 진출이 확장되면서 투자자, 채권자, 합작투자 파트너, 공급업자 및 경쟁자는 중국 기업의 관리실무가 전략적인 특성이나 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 이해를 늘리는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구의 결과는 중국 기업과의 관계를 평가하는데 있어 도움이 될 것이다. The fact that enterprises make strategic choices in order to deal with the external environment are mentioned in many researches. Enterprises use the management control system to improve their results in order to support the implementation of the strategy. But most of the literature regards the development of the western economic enterprises as a starting point. Whether such a relationship is effective or not in Chinese enterprises, it has not been demonstrated. China is gradually becoming one of the world"s largest export countries. In the period of economic transition, China has the ability to suppress the operator"s incentive mechanism or the ability of the property in order to meet the challenges and opportunities of enterprises. So it is of significance to look at the problems raised in this research. We analyze survey data for 92 listed Chinese manufacturing firms. The results is summarized as follows: These firms" strategic emphasis on growth is responsive to the competition and uncertainty that they face. In the case of uncertainty, the relationship goes in the opposite direction to that found in Western firms. Like their Western counterparts, Chinese firms with greater emphasis on growth also tend to make greater use of balanced/integrated performance measurement systems, in turn, they perform at a higher level. With Chinese enterprises on global into expanding, investors, investment partners, suppliers, and competitors improve understanding about the impact on the management of Chinese enterprises in the strategic characteristics and achievements, which may help to evaluate the relationship of the Chinese enterprises.
Morphology control of mesoporous Cu<sub>2</sub>O by reductants and its photocatalytic activity

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Mesoporous Cu<SUB>2</SUB>O particles with different morphologies were synthesized via simple one-pot reactions. Effects of reducing agents, dispersant, template, and temperature on the <B>structure</B> of the prepared materials were investigated. Mesoporous flower-shaped Cu<SUB>2</SUB>O materials were obtained at 70℃ using glucose <B>as a reductant</B>. Different hollow microsphere shapes of Cu<SUB>2</SUB>O could be prepared at 40℃ using <B>another type of reductant, ascorbic acid</B>. The results indicated that the uniform morphology of synthesized Cu<SUB>2</SUB>O with mesopores presented a maximum specific surface area of 45.3m<SUP>2</SUP>/g. Furthermore, the as-prepared Cu<SUB>2</SUB>O particles showed good photodegradation efficiencies of methyl orange in the range of 86.0–93.7%, depending on their morphologies.</P>

<P>Optical super-resolution imaging has gained momentum in investigations of heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions at the single-molecule level. Thanks to its exceptional spatial resolution and ability to monitor dynamic systems, much detailed information on single-molecule reaction/adsorption processes and single-particle catalytic processes has been revealed, including chemical kinetics and reaction dynamics; active-site distributions on single-particle surfaces; and size-, shape-, and facet-dependent catalytic activities of individual nanocatalysts. In this review, we provide an overview of recent advances in super-resolution chemical imaging of surface reactions.</P>
Benzydamine Oral Spray Inhibiting Parasympathetic Function of Tracheal Smooth Muscle

Objectives. Benzydamine is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents agent with anti-inflammatory and local anesthesia properties that is available in the entire world as an oral spray for oral mucositis patients who are suffering from radiation effects. The effect of benzydamine on oral mucositis in vivo is well known; however, the effect of the drug on tracheal smooth muscle has rarely been explored. During administration of the benzydamine for oral symptoms, it might affect the trachea via oral intake or inhalation. Methods. We examined the effectiveness of benzydamine on isolated rat tracheal smooth muscle. The following assessments of benzydamine were performed: effect on tracheal smooth muscle resting tension; effect on contraction caused by 10-6M methacholine as a parasympathetic mimetic; and effect of the drug on electrically induced tracheal smooth muscle contractions. Results. Addition of methacholine to the incubation medium caused the trachea to contract in a dose-dependent manner. Addition of benzydamine at doses of 10-5M or above elicited a significant relaxation response to 10-6M methacholine-induced contraction. Benzydamine could inhibit electrical field stimulation-induced spike contraction. It alone had a minimal effect on the basal tension of trachea as the concentration increased. Conclusion. This study indicated that high concentrations of benzydamine might actually inhibit parasympathetic function of the trachea. Benzydamine might reduce asthma attacks in oral mucositis patients because it could inhibit parasympathetic function and reduce methacholine-induced contraction of tracheal smooth muscle.
Control of membrane biofouling by 6-gingerol analogs: Quorum sensing inhibition

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Biofouling is a major problem in operating reverse osmosis (RO) processes. Although biocides such as chlorine are commonly used to reduce biofouling, their strong oxidative activity and toxicity negatively affect the operation of RO processes. 6-gingerol analogs, structural derivatives of the main component of ginger, are quorum sensing (QS) inhibitors. In this study, 6-gingerol analogs were applied to reduce biofouling in RO processes. The 6-gingerol analogs could inhibit <I>Pseudomonas aeruginosa</I> biofilm formation at low concentrations via QS disrupting activities without affecting the growth of the species. Notably, 6-gingerol analogs increased the permeate flux 36–52% in the operation of a model RO unit, with no damage to the membrane surface physically and chemically. Therefore, the results of this study clearly demonstrated that 6-gingerol analogs are effective biofilm inhibitors that could be used to mitigate biofouling in RO processes.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> 6-Gingerol analogs reduced biofilm formation without bacterial growth inhibition. </LI> <LI> 6-Gingerol analogs did not affect morphology and chemical structure of RO membranes. </LI> <LI> Permeate flux was increased by treatment of 6-gingerol analogs. </LI> <LI> 6-Gingerol analogs could control biofouling by regulating the expression of QS related genes. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

Recently, environmental problems caused by particulate matter(PM) are seriously emerging in Korea, and accordingly, policies that can be systematically managed by evaluating emission characteristics are being discussed from various perspectives. In particular, although the damage caused by PM at construction sites is serious, there is no method to quantitatively manage PM as only regulation policies according to concentration are being implemented. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to derive and propose an emission evaluation model for establishing policies for managing PM emissions at construction sites in Korea.
