        With the growing pace in the industrial sector, the need of the smart environment is also increasing. While production of industrial products, quality always matters. Fault detection in the industrial images is very hot topic in era of current research. Faulty images mean the images of the products which have some fault like missing screw, misplaced labels etc. To detect fault in the images, we proposed a method. Our proposed method is based on deep neural networks which is using convolutional neural network for detection. We also used RoI concept to make detection faster and more accurate. We simulated our environment using python language. Our proposed model has almost 99%.

        Prevalence of Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) Among Blood Donors in Eastern Saudi Arabia: Results From a Five-Year Retrospective Study of HBV Seromarkers

        Background: Transfusion-transmissible hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is a major problem worldwide. Recently, confirmatory nucleic acid tests (NATs) for HBV DNA have been employed in several countries. We assessed the prevalence and yearly trends of HBV infection in blood donors in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, screening for HBV surface antigen (HBsAg), antibody against HBV core antigen (anti-HBc), and HBV DNA. Methods: Between 2011 and 2015, a total of 22,842 donors were screenedfor HBsAg, anti-HBc, and HBV DNA using the HBsAg Qualitative II kit (Abbott, Ireland Diagnostics Division, Sligo, Ireland), ARCHITECT Anti-hepatitis B core antigen antibody (HBc) II Assay kit (Abbott GmbH & Co. KG, Wiesbaden, Germany), and NAT Procleix Ultrio Elite Assay kit (Grifols Diagnostic Solutions Inc., Los Angeles, CA, USA), respectively. Results: A total of 739 (3.24%) donors were HbsAg(+), anti-HBc(+), or HBV DNA(+); 63 (0.28%) were HbsAg(+), anti-HBc(+), and HBV DNA(+). Twelve (0.05%) were anti-HBc(+) and HBV DNA(+) but HBsAg(-); they were considered to have occult infection. Further, 664 (2.91%) were HBsAg(-) but anti-HBc(+), indicating chronic or resolving infection. HBV prevalence increased significantly from 2011 to 2012, increased marginally till 2013, and showed a decreasing trend from 2013 (P>0.05). Conclusions: The five-year prevalence of HBV infection among blood donors in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia (3.24%) is lower than that reported for other regions in the country. The occult HBV infection rate of 0.05% emphasizes the importance of NATs in isolating potential infectious blood units.

        HaptiSole: Wearable Haptic System in Vibrotactile Guidance Shoes for Visually Impaired Wayfinding

        During the last decade, several Electronic Orientation Aids devices have been proposed to solve the autonomy problems of visually impaired people. When hearing is considered the primary sense for Visually Impaired people (VI) and it is generally loaded with the environment, the use of tactile sense can be considered a solution to transmit directional information. This paper presents a new wearable haptic system based on four motors implemented in shoes, while six directions can be played. This study aims to introduce an interface design and investigate an appropriate means of spatial information delivery through haptic sense. The first experiment of the proposed system was performed with 15 users in an indoor environment. The results showed that the users were able to recognize, with high accuracy, the directions displayed on their feet. The second experiment was conducted in an outdoor environment with five blindfolded users who were guided along 120 meters. The users, guided only by the haptic system, successfully reached their destinations. The potential of tactile-foot stimulation to help VI understand Electronic Orientation Aids (EOA) instructions was discussed, and future challenges were defined.

        Adrenergic blocker terazosin potentially suppresses acetaminophen induced-acute liver injury in animal models via CYP2E1 gene

        Drug induced liver injury (DILI) is a global issue and acetaminophen (APAP) is considered as the main cause of this. Due to increasing incidents of DILI, current study attempted to investigate an alternative but better role of terazosin (alpha-adrenergic blocker) in APAP-induced acute liver injury in an animal model using New Zealand rabbits. APAP (1 g/kg of body weight) was given to New Zealand rabbits either with or without terazosin (0.5 mg/kg) and serum was collected after 4 h. Serum alanine transaminase (ALT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and ferritin level were determined to analyze the liver functioning of treated rabbits. Furthermore, total cholesterol (TC), total lipids (TL), high-density lipoproteins (HDL), low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and triglycerides (TG) levels were estimated to find any change in lipid profile of the treated animals. Moreover, the urea and creatinine levels assayed the actual renal functionality. To identify any modification in gene expression, qPCR of cytochrome P2E1 (CYP2E1) was performed. Terazosin in combination with APAP enhanced liver functioning by reducing the levels of liver injury markers viz. ALP and ALT, while lipid profile was also lowered by down regulation of TC, TL, LDL and TG with enhanced HDL levels. It caused significant down regulation of expression level of CYP2E1. It is concluded that terazosin has better effects induced on the recovery of normal liver functioning, by improving the liver profile, lipid profile and renal functioning both at tissue and molecular levels.

        Fabrication of g-C3N4 nanosheets on stainless steel mesh for effective separation of oil from water

        Most industries depend mainly on oil and oil-based processes, which resulted in producing large volumes of oily wastewater. One of the most common methods used for the treatment of oily contaminated water is filtration by modified surfaces. In this research g-C3N4 nanostructured material was prepared via thermal condensation method. The samples were characterized by advanced techniques such as XRD, XPS, FTIR scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrophotometry (EDX). The result showed that g-C3N4 were crystallized in tri-s-triazine phases and their mean crystalline sizes of these nanostructures were 12.17 nm. The high-magnification microscopy images show that the morphology of g-C3N4 was nanosheet. A stainless-steel mesh was modified and coated with the prepared g-C3N4 nanostructured materials to be used for the separation of oil and water mixture. Due to the hydro-phobic nature of the modified meshes, oil drops spread over the mesh surface and the water drops form spherical shapes. The most efficient coating among all the modified meshes was g-C3N4, which was functionalized using silane moiety. The separation efficiency of this coated mesh reached 74.87% and it resulted in fast separation. This mesh can separate different types of oil from the oil/water mixture, such as toluene, mineral oil, 2-ethyl-1-hexanol, and n-pentane with good efficiency. Separation was repeated up to 40 times using the same mesh, and the separation efficiency was measured each time.

        Degradation of Polyethylene Plastic by Non-Embedded Visible-Light Iron-Doped Zinc Oxide Nanophotocatalyst

        This study investigated the photocatalytic degradation of pure low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and commercial-grade polyethylene (PE) films with iron-doped zinc oxide (Fe-ZnO) nanoparticles under visible light. The study was particularly focused on the role of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and the types of plastic degradation. The Fe-ZnO were synthesized using the co-precipitation method and characterized by TEM and XRD. Degradation of 6.35 cm² films of LDPE and commercial grade PE was tested under artificial LED light (84 lm/W) and dark in Fe-ZnO suspensions of 10 ml having concentrations ranging from 10 to 1000 g/ml. The results showed a maximum weight reduction of 13.8 % for pure LDPE films at 200 g/ml and 15 % for commercial grade PE at 1000 g/ml in 14 days. In comparison, no weight reduction was observed in the dark, which confirmed that the degradation was induced by the production of ROS moieties in visible light i.e., singlet oxygen (30.11 %), hydroxyl ions (30.45 %), and hydroxyl radicals (39.34 %). The degradation was further confirmed by FTIR with the formation of alcohols and alkenes and SEM analysis that showed visible cracks in both LDPE and PE. The study unveiled Fe-ZnO nanoparticles as an efficient substitute to degrade polyethylene under visible light.

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The increasing resistance of pathogens to common antibiotics, as well as the need to control urease activity to improve the yield of soil nitrogen fertilization in agricultural applications, has stimulated the development of novel classes of molecules that target urease as an enzyme. In this context, the newly developed compounds on the basis of 1-heptanoyl-3-arylthiourea family were evaluated for Jack bean urease enzyme inhibition activity to validate their role as potent inhibitors of this enzyme. 1-Heptanoyl-3-arylthioureas were obtained in excellent yield and characterized through spectral and elemental analysis. All the compounds displayed remarkable potency against urease inhibition as compared to thiourea standard. It was found that novel compounds fulfill the criteria of drug-likeness by obeying Lipinski’s rule of five. Particularly compound <B>4a</B> and <B>4c</B> can serve as lead molecules in 4D (drug designing discovery and development).         Preemptive pregabalin for postoperative analgesia during minimally invasive hysterectomy: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials

        We aimed to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis of all randomized placebo-controlled trials (RCTs)that examined the analgesic benefits of preemptive pregabalin among patients undergoing minimally invasivehysterectomy. Five major databases were systematically screened from inception until August 29, 2021 Relevantstudies were evaluated for risk of bias. Endpoints were analyzed using the random-effects model and pooled asthe mean difference or risk ratio with a 95% confidence interval. Four studies with seven treatment arms met theinclusion criteria. The total sample size was 304 patients: 193 and 111 patients were allocated to the pregabalin andplacebo groups, respectively. Overall, the included studies revealed a low risk of bias. The summary results revealedthat the mean postoperative pain scores at rest were significantly lower in the pregabalin group than in the controlgroup at 0, 2, 4, 6, 12, and 24 hours. Moreover, the mean postoperative pain scores on movement/coughing weresignificantly lower in the pregabalin group than in the control group at 12 and 24 hours. The rate of patients whowere opioid-free postoperatively was significantly higher in the pregabalin group than in the control group. Therewas no significant difference between the groups in terms of the mean postoperative time to first rescue analgesicand the rates of adverse events. Compared with placebo, preemptive pregabalin was largely safe, and was correlatedwith superior analgesic effects in terms of lower postoperative pain scores and higher opioid-sparing effects. Additional RCTs are needed to confirm these findings.
