강두식 ( Doo Sick Kang ),김의영 ( Eui Young Kim ),최종균 ( Jong Kyun Choi ) 대한무도학회 2012 대한무도학회지 Vol.14 No.2
The purpose of this study was to examine the transition of the competition rules of taekwondo and judo, which were widely recognized as martial arts sports, in an attempt to seek ways of bolstering hapkido competition by applying the competition rules of the two sporting events. It`s ultimately meant to be of some use for the identity building of hapkido, and this study is expected to provide some core materials for research on hapkido competition, and is greatly significant in that it offers crucial basic information on the development of hapkido competition. Relevant literature and Internet materials were analyzed to find out the transition of the competition rules of taekwondo and judo and in which situations the competition rules were changed, and how to boost hapkido competition could be suggested as follows: First, unified game rules should be prepared in consideration of the technical system of hapkido. Second, the selection of judges and game operation should be done in an impartial and innovative manner, and education should be provided in that way as well. Third, hapkido should be selected as one of the regular sporting events of the Korean Olympic Committee in order to get administrative support from the government. Seventh, it`s needed to take measures to actualize the globalization of hapkido competition.

The wind speed at the altitude around 300 m is much higher and less variable than at the altitude around 80 m which is the same height of the MW class tower turbine's hub height. The wind power density is increased 0.37 W/m² per meter at the altitude around 6 to 7 km and 0.25 W/m² per meter at the altitude around 80 to 500 m. There are two types of power generation systems using lifting bodies. The one is that The generator is installed in the ground station and stretched into the lifting body through the tether. The other is that the generator is installed in the lifting body and stretched into the ground station through the tether. Many kinds of lifting bodies are also researched in the world, called kites, wings, single or twin aerostat, and so on. This article introduced the technical development status and the market prospects of the high altitude wind power generation system all over the world in detail.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) derivatives are synthesized by oxidative polymerization using sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) as an anionic surfactant dopant. The resulting polymeric materials featuring nanofiber-type one-dimensional (1D) structures are identified as poly(2‐butyl‐2,3‐dihydrothieno[3,4‐b][1,4]dioxine:dodecyl sulfate (PEDOT-C4:DS) and poly(2‐hexyl‐2,3‐dihydrothieno[3,4‐b][1,4]dioxine:dodecyl sulfate (PEDOT-C6:DS). The ratio of the DS anion doped into PEDOT-C4:DS and PEDOT-C6:DS is 0.16 and 0.23, respectively. The contact angle of water on the PEDOT-C4:DS and PEDOT-C6:DS films is 76.6° and 87.7°, respectively, showing hydrophobic properties similar to that with water on PVDF. It facilitated the fully uniform film formation due to excellent surface matching. Peeling force of PEDOT-C4:DS and PEDOT-C6:DS is stronger than the one of PEDOT:PSS‐CNT composite. GIWAX analysis showed that PEDOT-C4:DS formed the highly ordered edge-on structure and PEDOT-C6:DS formed the bimodal orientation consisting of edge-on structure mainly and face-on structure slightly. The electrical conductivity (σPEDOT‐C4:DS=50.0 S cm−1) of PEDOT-C4:DS is 41.7 times higher than that of PEDOT:PSS (σPEDOT:PSS=1.2 S cm−1).</P> <P>The output signals (maximum voltages/currents) of piezoelectric nanogenerators (PNGs, electrode/PVDF/electrode) using these materials as electrodes are PNG-1 (PEDOT:PSS‐CNT composite) 1.25 V/128.5 nA, PNG-2 (PEDOT-C4:DS) 1.54 V/166.0 nA, and PNG-3 (PEDOT-C6:DS) 1.49 V/159.0 nA. Of these, PNG-2 & PNG-3 show maximum piezoelectric output power of 63.0 nW and 59.9 nW at 9 MΩ compared to PNG-1 (41.0 nW at 10 MΩ). They are enhanced up to 53.7%. Liquid core photonic crystal fiber with low-refractive-index liquids for optofluidic applications.
Park, Jiyoung,Kang, Doo-Eui,Paulson, Bjorn,Nazari, Tavakol,Oh, Kyunghwan Optical Society of America 2014 Optics express Vol.22 No.14
<P>A defectless hexagonal air-silica photonic crystal fiber (PCF) structure with its central hole selectively filled by a low-refractive-index liquid is numerically analyzed. Despite the fact that the refractive index of the liquid is significantly lower than that of silica, we found an optimal range of waveguide parameters to ensure light guidance through the liquid core in the fundamental mode, maximizing the light-liquid interaction over a desired wavelength range. Using the vectorial finite element method (FEM), we report detailed parametric studies in terms of the effective index, chromatic dispersion, optical loss, and modal intensity distribution of the liquid core PCFs.</P>
3-D Manipulation of ZnO Nanowire Using Optically Activated Thermoplastic Tip on Silica Fiber Taper
Sejin Lee,Doo-Eui Kang,Pyojin Jeon,Seongil Im,Ryong Ha,Heon-Jin Choi,Songnian Fu,Kyunghwan Oh IEEE 2014 IEEE photonics technology letters Vol.26 No.20
<P>Semiconductor nanowire offers various opportunities in novel optoelectronics yet its precise manipulation technique has not been fully developed. We proposed a new method to transport and manipulate individual single ZnO nanowire in 3-D space using an optically activated ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) tip on microtapered silica fiber. The microtaper fiber delivered laser light to optically activate the plasticity in the microscopic EVA spot, where the single ZnO nanowire was selectively adhered. Detailed principles and procedures are discussed along with a unique artificial structuring of nanowires.</P>
Microspore Division and Plant Regeneration from Shed Pollen Culture in Rice
Kim, Hyun-Soon,Kang, Hyeon-Jung,Lee, Young-Tae,Lee, Seung-Yeob,Nam, Jeong-Kwon,Kim, Tae-Soo,Rha, Eui-Shik,Jin, Il-Doo The Korean Society of Crop Science 2002 Korean journal of crop science Vol.47 No.1
An efficient system of rice microspore culture could contribute to the production of genetically modified rice. The microspores were isolated by mechanical or shed methods. The number of microspores per 100 anthers isolated at uninucleate stage was higher than (or similar to) those at binucleate stage in isolation method with pestle or spatular, but microspore divisions were not easily observed on both stages. On the other hand, pollen division in shed pollen culture was observed more frequently at uninuclear than at binuclear stage. Cold pretreatment at 1$0^{\circ}C$ for 10 days resulted in the best multicellular division to produce microcalli at 12.5% efficiency in shed microspores. Heat shock at 33$^{\circ}C$ for one hour before or after pollen shedding enhanced cell division and callus formation. Out of twelve green regenerants, two were haploids and ten were diploids based on the chromosome analysis of root tips. The size of stoma was 12$^{m}$ m in haploids and 15 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in diploids determined by scanning electron microscope (SEM).

A screening study of the acute toxicity of organic arsenics such as arsenobetaine and arsenocholine, a product of arsenic methylation metabolite, and inorganic arsenic was carried out to examine hematological and serum biochemical parameters in cynomolgus monkeys(Macaca fascicularis). We found soft and liquid feces, and vomiting in all treated groups with inorganic and organic arsenics. The monkeys in inorganic arsenic-treated group showed a significant increase in vomiting frequency compared with those in three organic arsenics-treated groups. These results suggest that inorganic arsenic might be more toxic than three other organic arsenics tested. The monkeys in inorganic arsenic-treated group showed a decrease in platelet and an increase in monocyte on day 4 and the monkeys in arsenocholine-treated group showed an increase in reticulocyte percentage on day 8. The monkeys in inorganic-treated group also showed decreases in AST and ALT values and the monkeys in arsenobetaine-treated group showed a decrease in AST value and an increase in T-CHO value. However, these hematological and biochemical changes were within the physiological ranges, showing that the single dose of inorganic and organic arsenics did not affect at least hematological and serum biochemical parameters. The present study of toxicity with single dose of arsenics provides valuable indicators for longer term study of toxicity of repeated doses of arsenics in primates.
