Theoretical and Computational analyses on the wet compression process
Dharmaraj Hudson,Tae Ho Kim,Heuy Dong Kim 대한기계학회 2021 대한기계학회 춘추학술대회 Vol.2021 No.11
Wet compression systems are mostly used for energy savings in compressors and they increase the useful power output by reducing the working gas temperature rise inside the compressor. In the present study, air with the water droplets is finely dispersed in an axisymmetric cylinder which is used as the working fluid of the wet compression. The compression process is made by the axial movement of the piston and a series of analytical equations are derived to obtain the thermodynamic properties during the process. Computational analysis has also been carried out to simulate the wet compression process. A suitable parametric study has been conducted in order to observe the changes in pressure, temperature, and relative humidity inside the system. The results show that wet compression leads to a significant reduction in compressor power, thus increasing efficiency.
Survey on Malicious Web Pages Detection Techniques
Dharmaraj Rajaram Patil,J. B. Patil 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.8 No.5
The World Wide Web has become an inseparable part of millions of people who use online services e.g. online banking, online shopping, social networking, e-commerce, and store and manage user sensitive information, etc. In fact, it is a popular tool for any class of user over the Internet. Rich Web based applications are available over the World Wide Web to provide such types of services. At the same time, the Web has become an important means for people to interact with each other and do business. This is the positive side of this technology. Unfortunately, the Web has also become a more dangerous place. The popularity of World Wide Web has also attracted intruders and attackers. These intruders abuse the Internet and users by performing illegitimate activity for financial profit. The Web pages that contain such types of attacks or malicious code are called as malicious Web pages. While the existing approaches are good indicators in detecting malicious Web pages, there are still open issues in Web page features selection and detection techniques. In this paper, we are giving an extensive survey of existing malicious Web pages detection approaches and features they have used.
분산 트랜잭션 처리 시스템을 위한 객체지향 인터페이스 개발
신범주(Bumjoo Shin),장덕호(Dukho Chang),김동진(Dongjin Kim),손덕주(Dukjoo Son),Satish Dharmaraj(Satish Dharmaraj),Graeme Dixon(Graeme Dixon) 한국정보과학회 1996 정보과학회 컴퓨팅의 실제 논문지 Vol.2 No.1
This paper describes Encina++, an object oriented interface to the Eneina distributed transaction processing system. Eocina++ has been designed to support interoperability with existing Encina applications and is implemented on top of the Encina and DCE interfaces. By using the client/object model based on the DCE instead of OMG CORBA IDL, Encina++ supports interoperability as well as strong security and threading -- support that is not currently available through OMG specifications. The added flexibility provided by the Encina++ client/object model leads to a reduction of effort to application when compared with application developed using only Encina.
Electrospun nanofibers: New generation materials for advanced applications
Thenmozhi, S.,Dharmaraj, N.,Kadirvelu, K.,Kim, H.Y. Elsevier 2017 Materials science and engineering B. Advanced Func Vol.217 No.-

Electrospinning (E-spin) is a unique technique to fabricate polymeric as well as metal oxide nanofibers. Research on electrospun nanofibers is a very active field in material science owing to their novel applications in diverse domains. The main focus of this review is to provide an insight into E-spin technique by understanding the working principle, influencing parameters and applications of nanofibers in different walks of life. Several hundreds of papers are published on the preparation, modification and applications of nanofibers produced by E-spin technique in the areas like sensor development, decontamination, energy storage, biomedical and catalysis etc. Details on the industrial scale development of E-spin technique, current scenario and future developments are also covered in this review. Deposition of gold nanoparticles on electrospun MgTiO3 ceramic nanofibers.
Aryal, Santosh,Dharmaraj, N,Bhattarai, Shanta Raj,Khil, Myung Seob,Kim, Hak Yong American Scientific Publishers 2006 Journal of nanoscience and nanotechnology Vol.6 No.2

A simple method to deposit spherical gold nanoparticles on the surface of MgTiO3 ceramic nanofibers is presented. Electrospun MgTiO3/poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) hybrid nanofibers were calcined at 650 degrees C to obtain phase pure ceramic MgTiO3 nanofibers with 100-150 nm diameters. These ceramic nanofibers were immersed in an aqueous solution of HAuCl4 containing poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) as capping agent followed by photoreduction at 365 nm to get a novel Au-MgTiO3 nanocomposite. The formation of gold nanoparticles upon irradiation was confirmed by the appearance of a surface plasmon band (SPB) at 590 nm in the UV-visible absorption spectra. The surface morphology and elemental compositions were analyzed by the scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), and transmission electron microscope (TEM). X-ray diffraction (XRD) and selected area diffraction (SAED) pattern in TEM revealed the crystallization of gold by exhibiting strong diffractions correspond to Au(111) and Au(200) crystalline planes in addition to the MgTiO3 diffraction.

Acute mesenteric occlusion is a life-threatening condition with a significant mortality rate and requires prompt diagnosis and revascularization using open repair, a hybrid procedure, or endovascular intervention. The open approach is associated with significant morbidity and mortality, while endovascular procedures are done by the antegrade or retrograde open mesenteric stent technique and have been observed to improve the prognosis and outcomes of mesenteric ischemia. We report three cases of acute-on-chronic mesenteric ischemia secondary to occlusion with failed percutaneous mesenteric artery stenting. They were successfully treated using a novel hybrid technique, without the need for mesenteric arteriotomy or subsequent arterial repair.
