      • Hybrid Model Based Intruder Detection System to Prevent Users from Cyber Attacks

Singh, Devendra Kumar,Shrivastava, Manish International Journal of Computer ScienceNetwork S 2021 International journal of computer science and netw Vol.21 No.4

Presently, Online / Offline Users are facing cyber attacks every day. These cyber attacks affect user's performance, resources and various daily activities. Due to this critical situation, attention must be given to prevent such users through cyber attacks. The objective of this research paper is to improve the IDS systems by using machine learning approach to develop a hybrid model which controls the cyber attacks. This Hybrid model uses the available KDD 1999 intrusion detection dataset. In first step, Hybrid Model performs feature optimization by reducing the unimportant features of the dataset through decision tree, support vector machine, genetic algorithm, particle swarm optimization and principal component analysis techniques. In second step, Hybrid Model will find out the minimum number of features to point out accurate detection of cyber attacks. This hybrid model was developed by using machine learning algorithms like PSO, GA and ELM, which trained the system with available data to perform the predictions. The Hybrid Model had an accuracy of 99.94%, which states that it may be highly useful to prevent the users from cyber attacks.

Impregnated Active Carbon-Shelf Life Studies and Its Evaluation Against Cyanogen Chloride with and without Canister

        Singh, Beer,Saxena, Amit,Srivastava, Avanish Kumar,Dubey, Devendra Kumar,Gupta, Arvind Kumar Korean Carbon Society 2007 Carbon Letters Vol.8 No.4

Samples of active carbon of $1150\;m^2/g$ surface area were impregnated with ammoniacal salts of copper, chromium and silver, with and without triethylenediamine. The samples of impregnated carbon were aged at $50^{\circ}C$, with and without 90% RH (relative humidity), for a little more than one year and chemically evaluated periodically. Initially copper (II) and chromium (VI) reduced very fast in the samples in humid atmosphere to the extent of 30% and 60% respectively in four months. These values were found to be unaffected by the presence of triethylenediamine (TEDA) indicating that the chemical did not retard the reduction process of chromium (VI) and copper (II). However, in the absence of humidity the reduction of the impregnants was significantly less (10-12%, w/w) in four months. It was quite evident; therefore, that the moisture was mainly responsible for the reduction of chromium (VI) and copper (II) species in impregnated carbons. The prolonged ageing of the samples with and without triethylenediamme after four months with and without humid atmosphere showed that the extent of reduction of chromium (VI) was very low, i.e. 5-10% and of copper (II) was 2-25%. Silver is not reduced due to carbon, as it remained unchanged in concentration on storage. The impregnated carbon samples (100 g) without triethylenediamine, which were aged at room temperature for 5 years in absence of humidity and unaged when evaluated against cyanogen chloride (CNCl) at a concentration of 4 mg/L and airflow rate of 30 lpm showed a high degree of protection (80- 110 minutes).

Vijay Kumar,Ravi Kumar Gundampati,Devendra Kumar Singh,Medicherla V. Jagannadham,Shyam Sundar,Syed Hadi Hasan 한국공업화학회 2016 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.37 No.-

The current work describes the biosynthesis of stable AgNPs using aqueous extract of Xanthiumstrumarium (AEX) which act as both reducing as well as a stabilizing agent. The biosynthesis wasconfirmed by UV–visible spectroscopy where the presence of SPR band at lmax 436 nm corresponded tothe existence of AgNPs in reaction mixture. The optimum conditions for biosynthesis of AgNPs were30 min of sunlight exposure time, 3.0% (v/v) of AEX inoculum dose and 3.5 mM AgNO3 concentration. The synthesized AgNPs was characterized by HRTEM, SAED, FESEM, EDX, XRD, AFM, and FTIR whichshowed potent antibacterial and antileishmanial activity.

Energy, exergy and enviroeconomic analysis of modified multi-wick basin type inverted absorber solar still

Devendra Singh,Ajay Kumar Sharma 대한기계학회 2022 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.36 No.2

Energy, exergy and enviroeconomic are some of the most important aspects of the solar still device that should be taken into account. According to productivity, energy, exergy and enviroeconomic approaches, the behavior of a modified multi-wick basin type inverted absorber solar still (MMWBIASS) is analyzed and assessed by installing ten hanging wicks at varied depths of saline water in the basin. This study suggested a technique for increasing the productivity of a solar still by introducing hanging black cotton and jute wicks to provide a constant supply of water in the wicks' strap layer. Experiments have been conducted on MMWBIASS with a basin area of 1 m 2 at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India, under different weather conditions. Results showed that the annual prices per kilogram of distilled yield were Rs. 0.91 (0.012 US$) and Rs. 1.03 (0.013 US$), and the development method reduced CO 2 emission by 42.99 and 37.08 tons, respectively, for black cotton and jute wicks.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Here we present a report on synthesis and characterization of tetravalent metal pyrophosphate (TMP) and alkali carbonate (A2CO3; A = Li and/or Na) composites. The TMP-carbonate composites are prepared by mixing indium-doped tin pyrophosphate or yttrium-doped zirconium pyrophosphate with Li2CO3 or an eutectic mixture of Li2CO3-Na2CO3 in different wt.% ratios. The phase composition, microstructure and electrical conductivity of the sintered specimen are analyzed. In addition, the effect of different TMP and A2CO3 phases is investigated. Thermal analysis of modified multi-wick basin type inverted absorber solar still

Devendra Singh,Ajay Kumar Sharma 대한기계학회 2021 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.35 No.5

The current work is committed to building up a thermal model of modified multiwick basin type inverted absorber solar still (MMWBIASS). Mathematical equations for temperatures of glass covers, water, distilled yield and wick have been evaluated during the study. The thermal model has been experimentally verified and an unbiased conciliation has been revealed between experimental and theoretical consequences. Instantaneous efficiency of solar still has also been measured with cotton wicks of black color under the environment conditions (27.3223° N; 77.7599° E) of Farah, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh (U.P.), India. The result demonstrates that at water levels 1, 2, and 3 cm in the basin, achieved values of the total yield from MMWBIASS are 6.907, 5.681 and 4.650 kg/m 2 -day, respectively. For MMWBIASS, overall thermal efficiency with cotton wicks of black color is 34.04 %, 28.17 % and 23.61 %, respectively, for the same basin condition.

Use of thiopurines in inflammatory bowel disease: an update

( Arshdeep Singh ),( Ramit Mahajan ),( Saurabh Kedia ),( Amit Kumar Dutta ),( Abhinav Anand ),( Charles N. Bernstein ),( Devendra Desai ),( C. Ganesh Pai ),( Govind Makharia ),( Harsh Vardhan Tevethia 대한장연구학회 2022 Intestinal Research Vol.20 No.1

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), once considered a disease of the Western hemisphere, has emerged as a global disease. As the disease prevalence is on a steady rise, management of IBD has come under the spotlight. 5-Aminosalicylates, corticosteroids, immunosuppressive agents and biologics are the backbone of treatment of IBD. With the advent of biologics and small molecules, the need for surgery and hospitalization has decreased. However, economic viability and acceptability is an important determinant of local prescription patterns. Nearly one-third of the patients in West receive biologics as the first/initial therapy. The scenario is different in developing countries where biologics are used only in a small proportion of patients with IBD. Increased risk of reactivation of tuberculosis and high cost of the therapy are limitations to their use. Thiopurines hence become critical for optimal management of patients with IBD in these regions. However, approximately one-third of patients are intolerant or develop adverse effects with their use. This has led to suboptimal use of thiopurines in clinical practice. This review article discusses the clinical aspects of thiopurine use in patients with IBD with the aim of optimizing their use to full therapeutic potential. (Intest Res 2022;20:11-30)

Performance Enhancing of Spray Formed Al/Graphite Alloy Composite by Rolling

        Surendra Kumar Chourasiya,Gaurav Gautam,Devendra Singh 대한금속·재료학회 2021 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.27 No.6

The present study outlines the effect of warm rolling on the Al/Graphite alloy composite to investigate its effect on mechanicalperformance. The Al/Graphite alloy composite has been fabricated by the spray forming process and has been subjectedto the rolling at 250 °C with varying reduction. The rolled composite has been studied under different characterizationtechniques such as X-ray fluorescence (XRF), optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersivespectroscopy (EDS) and tensile tester. The XRF and EDS results indicate that the Al/Graphite alloy composite is successfullyformed. The microscopy results show that the grain size of α-aluminium and agglomeration of the particles refine byrolling and they continuously decrease with an increase in rolling reduction. The strength and percentage elongation of thecomposite improves by rolling and they continuously increase with an increase in rolling reduction. Further, the fracturesurface study has also been performed and it indicates that the fracture of the composite alters from brittle to ductile modewith an increase in rolling reduction. The appeared fracture surface of the composite has also been correlated with the producedmicrostructure and the tensile properties.

ANALYTICAL TECHNIQUES FOR SYSTEM OF TIME FRACTIONAL NONLINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

        최준상,Devendra Kumar,Jagdev Singh,Ram Swroop 대한수학회 2017 대한수학회지 Vol.54 No.4

We coupled the so-called Sumudu transform with the homotopy perturbation method (HPM) and the homotopy analysis method (HAM), which are called homotopy perturbation Sumudu transform \linebreak method (HPSTM) and homotopy analysis Sumudu transform method (HASTM), respectively. Then we show how HPSTM and HASTM are more convenient than HPM and HAM by conducting a comparative analytical study for a system of time fractional nonlinear differential equations. A Maple package is also used to enhance the clarity of the involved numerical simulations.
