RUSSIA'S FOREIGN POLICY IN TRANSITION : PROSPECTS AND CHALLENGES IN THE ASIA PACIFIC REGION
Davydov, Oleg V. the Institute for Far Eastern Studies, Kyungnam Un 1998 인문과학연구 Vol.4 No.-
The paper is an attempt to trace the changes in Russia's foreign policy after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The aim is to obtain an idea of the difficulties which Russia is now facing and to examine the opportunities and limitations of the country's international strategy. No matter how complicated the situation is in Russia today, if will remain a world power with a voice and major stakes in global and regional affairs. Russia's active participation in international affairs meets not only its national interests but also the interests of the world community, taking in to consideration Russia's position as a pillar, supporting the global equilibrium. The paper argues that Russia has yet to find a unique place in the international arena as Euroasian power serving as a bridge between East and West. In this context special attention is given to Russia's policy in the Asia Pacific Region and toward the Korean peninsula.
DAVYDOV, A.P. THE INSTITUTE OF EAST AND WEST STUDIES YONSEI UNIV 1991 Global economic review Vol.20 No.2
A most important feature of a transnational production set-up lies in the fact that the means of production and the appropriate management belonging to one group of countries go to combine with relatively cheap and productive labour in other countries. The combination is a factor that makes transnationally employed labour take on new characteristics and causes fundamental changes in labour relations which in turn call for a re-evaluation of some stereotypes and notions of transnational production.
THE CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR KOREA UNIFICATION : RUSSIAN PERSPECTIVE
V. Davydov 中央大學校 東北亞硏究所 1997 東北亞硏究 Vol.2 No.-
Collapse of North Korea and quick unification. Every one agree that gradual convergence is the best option for Korea unification under the normal situation. However, abrupt unification resulted from the collapse of North Korea may not be excluded. Such being the case, the aftereffects may include humanitarian disaster, massive inflows of refugees and on the top of this the risk of uncontrolled violence followed from possible power struggle in the North. Such developments if they occur would pose a serious threat for stability of the whole region outside the Korean Peninsula which the neighbouring countries should be ready to copy with.
Monocular Supervised Metric Distance Estimation for Autonomous Driving Applications
Yury A. Davydov,Wen-Hui Chen,Yu-Chen Lin 제어로봇시스템학회 2022 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2022 No.11
The task of monocular distance estimation is a major area of research in the computer vision field. Especially relevant this task is to the autonomous driving applications, where robustness and accuracy of the distance estimation significantly affect driving safety. In this paper we propose a simple, fast and efficient deep learning model capable of extracting distance information for a detected object from monocular images. The model is trained and tested on the KITTI benchmark and compared to the Monodepth2 model. The conducted experiments show that the proposed convolutional neural network architecture outperforms Monodepth2 by 11% on average according to the weighted average mean absolute error.

<P>Multiple Bragg reflections (MBRs), which can be realized in a bent perfect crystal (BPC) slab and are mutually in dispersive diffraction geometry, provide a monochromatic beam of excellent resolution. After identifying many MBR effects in a BPC Si crystal by using the method of θ–2θD scanning, we have turned our attention to the study of selected effects using the method of azimuthal rotation of the crystal lattice around the scattering vector of the primary reflection for a fixed chosen wavelength. In this paper, several azimuthal scans with the intention of possible practical exploitation for very high resolution diffractometry are presented.</P>
