This paper suggests method to measure that error of the precision stage is used precision process and measurement equipment by using camera optics. The laser interferometer is the most widely used sensing unit to measure the position error. It measures the positioning error from the displacement of a moving reflector in terms of the wave length. But, the wave length os affected by the variation of atmospheric temperature. Temperature variation of 1℃ results in the measuring error of 1ppm. Though laser interferometer measures position error of stage when precision stage is manufactured by us or it is used to measure stage for the nonce as a general rule, optics tooling position measurement method to suggest is possible to apply in real-time and trace an error range continually. Therefore it is able to improve capabilities of equipment by compensating an error range when operates precision process and measurement equipment in real-time. From the experiment, it is confirmed that the measuring error of the optical device can be improved from 5.8㎛ to 1㎛ by the application of the method.

Analysis of the Apoptotic Mechanisms of Snake Venom Toxin on Inflammation-induced HaCaT Cell-line
Chun, Youl Woong,Song, Ho Sueb Korean AcupunctureMoxibustion Medicine Society 2017 대한침구의학회지 Vol.27 No.6
Objectives : In this study, the roles of Interleukin (IL)-4 and Signal transducer and activator of transcription 6 (STAT6), which have been reported to play a role in the pathogenesis of inflammation and cancer, were evaluated in snake venom toxin (SVT)-induced apoptosis. Methods : Inflammation was induced in human HaCaT kerationocytes, by lipopolysaccharide (LPS; $1{\mu}g/mL$) or tumor necrosis factor-${\alpha}$ (TNF-${\alpha}$), followed by treatment with SVT (0, 1, or $2{\mu}g/mL$). Cell viability was assessed by MTT assays after 24 h, and the expression of levels of IL-4, STAT6, and the apoptosis-related proteins p53, Bax, and Bcl-2 were evaluated by western blotting. Electro mobility shift assays (EMSAs) were performed to evaluate the DNA binding capacity of STAT6. Results : MTT assays showed that inflammation-induced growth of HaCaT cells following LPS or TNF-${\alpha}$ stimulation was inhibited by SVT. Western blot analysis showed that p53 and Bax, which promote apoptosis, were increased, whereas that of Bcl-2, an anti-apoptotic protein, was decreased in a concentration-dependent manner in LPS- or TNF-${\alpha}$-induced HaCaT cells following treatment with SVT. Moreover, following treatment of HaCaT cells with LPS, IL-4 concentrations were increased, and treatment with SVT further increased IL-4 expression in a concentration-dependent manner. Western blotting and EMSAs showed that the phosphorylated form of STAT6 was increased in HaCaT cells in the context of LPS- or TNF-${\alpha}$-induced inflammation in a concentration-dependent manner, concomitant with an increase in the DNA binding activity of STAT6. Conclusion : SVT can effectively promote apoptosis in HaCaT cells in the presence of inflammation through a pathway involving IL-4 and STAT6.

Spinal stenosis is a common degenerative condition. However, how neurogenic claudication develops has not been clearly elucidated. Moreover, cerebrospinal fluid physiology at the lumbosacral level has not received adequate attention. This study was conducted to compare cerebrospinal fluid hydrodynamics at the lumbosacral spinal level between patients with spinal stenosis and healthy controls. Twelve subjects (four patients and eight healthy controls; 25-77 years old; seven males) underwent phase-contrast magnetic resonance imaging to quantify cerebrospinal fluid dynamics. The cerebrospinal fluid flow velocities were measured at the L2 and S1 levels. All subjects were evaluated at rest and after walking (to provoke neurogenic claudication in the patients). The caudal peak flow velocity in the sacral spine (-0.25 +/- 0.28 cm/s) was attenuated compared to that in the lumbar spine (-0.93 (+/-) 0.46 cm/s) in both patients and controls. The lumbar caudal peak flow velocity was slower in patients (-0.65 +/- 0.22 cm/s) than controls (-1.07 +/- 0.49 cm/s) and this difference became more pronounced after walking (-0.66 +/- 0.37 cm/s in patients, -1.35 +/- 0.52 cm/s in controls; p = 0.028). The sacral cerebrospinal fluid flow after walking was barely detectable in patients (caudal peak flow velocity: -0.09 +/- 0.03 cm/s). Cerebrospinal fluid dynamics in the lumbosacral spine were more attenuated in patients with spinal stenosis than healthy controls. After walking, the patients experiencing claudication did not exhibit an increase in the cerebrospinal fluid flow rate as the controls did. Altered cerebrospinal fluid dynamics may partially explain the pathophysiology of spinal stenosis. (C) 2016 Orthopaedic Research Society. Published by Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

Scaling Down Characteristics of Vertical Channel Phase Change Random Access Memory (VPCRAM)
Chun Woong Park,Chongdae Park,Woo Young Choi,Dongsun Seo,Cherlhyun Jeong,Il Hwan Cho 대한전자공학회 2014 Journal of semiconductor technology and science Vol.14 No.1
In this paper, scaling down characteristics of vertical channel phase random access memory are investigated with device simulator and finite element analysis simulator. Electrical properties of select transistor are obtained by device simulator and those of phase change material are obtained by finite element analysis simulator. From the fusion of both data, scaling properties of vertical channel phase change random access memory (VPCRAM) are considered with ITRS roadmap. Simulation of set reset current are carried out to analyze the feasibility of scaling down and compared with values in ITRS roadmap. Simulation results show that width and length ratio of the phase change material (PCM) is key parameter of scaling down in VPCRAM. Thermal simulation results provide the design guideline of VPCRAM. Optimization of phase change material in VPCRAM can be achieved by oxide sidewall process optimization.

Unilateral sanction regimes by the U.S. against other countries or non-state actors are increasingly becoming broader in scope and application. In recent years, U.S. sanctions laws have been expanded to cover not only U.S. persons but also foreign companies with no connection to the United States. Companies and entities that operate in the transnational maritime and shipping industries are particularly exposed to compliance risk with U.S. sanctions laws due to the diversity of countries they are registered or operate in. This article discusses U.S. sanctions laws and the requirement for shipping and maritime companies to establish effective internal compliance programs. Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective compliance program should be a core component of business operations and to ensure compliance with U.S. sanctions law. This article explains in detail how companies within the shipping and maritime sectors should to develop, implement, and maintain effective compliance programs.
Extraforaminal Extrusion of Intervertebral Disc Misdiagnosed as Neurogenic Tumor: a Case Report
Chun, Se-Woong,Park, Young-Seop,Heo, Won,Baek, Kyeonghee,Moon, Jin Il Korean Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine 2017 Investigative Magnetic Resonance Imaging Vol.21 No.2
A 55-year-old male presented with dysesthesia of the right anteromedial thigh. A magnetic resonance image revealed a globular mass at the right extraforaminal area of the L3/4 level. Based on the diagnosis of neurogenic tumor, surgical excision was performed. The surgical impression and pathology confirmed extrusion of intervertebral disc. In a retrospective review of the magnetic resonance image, we noticed a fibrillary pattern directed from the intervertebral disc space to the lesion, and disrupted annulus fibrosus and indentation caused by the ring apophysis. We suggest aforementioned features, indicative of intervertebral disc lesions, to be checked when interpreting mass lesions around the intervertebral foramen.
